@@wanderbots may I ask what kinda program do you use for your art and also what tools do you use? Like touchscreen with stylus or a more professional style setup?
Honestly, I think the biggest innovation is the marker you can put on the map, and I'm being serious. Planning your route through games like this can be important, and being able to actually mark the map to you don't have to ask yourself "now which way was I going to go again?" after every stop seems like a really powerful QoL feature. It also feels like while a lot of the cards are fairly straightforward in what they do, there's both enough stages and enough variety that while you may not necessarily feel the impact of each and every one, you'll definitely feel their cumulative effects as you go when comparing run to run.
Wander, I’m really feeling this one. Please consider covering it in the future, I really enjoyed this video and can’t wait to see what new things you unlocked.
I've been waiting for you to give this one a fair shot, it looks great and it does a few things different. The visual style is unique as well for a bullet heaven
absolutely love this game, I play it whenever I'm bored. once you get enough runs and achievements under your belt you unlock dune crazy fun cards and weapons. It's just been sad that there hasn't been all that much coverage of it so it's great to see one of my favorite channels do a video! love the content keep it up!
Also the multiplier aspect of most cards can get insane, I was once dealing over 30000 damage with the death aura, and got the attack speed to tuck every 0.03 second. ps. you can see the exact stats by pressing escape and going to both the stats screen and the soul cards screen, hovering over a weapon gives everything about it.
I looove taking Average cos crit takes too much investment for my playstyle-- hopefully Plex (the dev) will deal in a few cards that derive strength based on how many cards you banish
There are a lot more weapons and weapon fusions behind achievements. In also love straight damage, but max crit is the only way I’ve found to kill the end bosses.
This is one of the Vampire Survivors derivatives I'm enjoying the most at the current time. And yes, you can make some ridiculous builds with further unlocks. There's a main branch update coming in a couple of weeks that adds the D-rank world and bumps up the price a little.
I find this, how to say, art perspective extremely aesthetically pleasing. It's reminiscent of the large scale tilt shift effect, which is my favorite in photography.
I would love to see your list. So far I have been loving Holocure and would like to see where it fits in your list. This one does look interesting, I would like to be able to play builds to utter ridiculousness more instead of reaching the end just as it really gets going well.
I haven't played since it was in beta, bc it Didnt have much content (won on my first attempt) but God this made me excited to see what it has now to offer
So, the Dev is also supporting Mods on thus game. Though it's not steam workshop, I still think it's pretty amazing for him to do so. And it also looks like they'll be getting thunderstore support for modding as well. This game is shaping up well, and I can't wait to see where it goes. ^-^
I mean it hasn't actually Launched yet, it's still in beta / Early Access. Fun fact, the Beta build for this game has a bunch more content- Like, a looooot Replies to this are mainly me explaining stuff about this game. I'm writing it all as I think about it, so if you don't want tips then don't look further. A lot of it will probably be redundant by the end of the video.
There is also an active attempt made by the Dev of the game for modding to be enabled, and is currently being worked on (again, in the beta testing version of the game only for now)
One more tip, all cards have rarities, and you can tell by the card's border color and there's also the rarity written in the bottom left of the card. Tainted is lowest tier (Dark Grey), next is Common (White), then Uncommon (Green), Rare (Blue), Epic (Purple), Heroic (Gold) and Ascended (Red). There's also Evolution cards, but you probably won't be getting any of those for a hot minute, locked behind some reasonably difficult achievements.
I have a great pc (runs "doom eternal" pretty good, above recommended, not maximum), after several crashers, I decided not to play until they fix performance errors, the worst is that when it happens you don't save in the part you were in, you lose the whole run.
@@charlieflight6124 I never got a feel for it, I guess.I prefer controllers (for 2D and 3D action games, platformers, etc.) and mouse/KB for other games. Diablo-likes are fine. Great, even. I love Diablo-likes. That's how I want one of these to play. The only times I'm OK with WASD is in a walking sim or classic dungeon crawler, something where precision and speed do not matter. It also makes no sense to me why such a simple, casual game style can't be controlled with just the mouse. I mean, all you do is move around in circles, select from menus, and MAYBE you have directional firing too.

I love how easy you make drawing look, just shows how much practice you've had and how comfortable you are with it. Nothing but respect
in survivors mode relics have a chance to drop from crates and some armoured elites for 2 choices, the bosses have 5 choices
I hunt crates like they owe me money.
I am also excited to watch you play more of this.
Loved the intro art… would love to see that continue!!
Ideally it'll be in every video going forward!

It has very promising take on genre but currently it does need some new weapons and more interesting upgrades.

You really need to take Damascus Steel when offered. That small damage is actually a huge damage buff in practise.

This was fun! I'd love to see more of it.
You'll like tomorrow's video on it then!

this is fine

If you too hate aimed weapons there is an option to auto-aim them at the closest target. I wasn’t going to buy the game before I found that setting.
This character reminds me of Arthur from Ghouls’N Ghosts.
Magic survivors will always be the sauce to me nothing like the original
I do adore Magic Survival, but I've had so many technical difficulties preventing me from enjoying it. I certainly hope it gets more attention though!
I been having a blast with it in the past 2 days and I hope we get more stuff with future updates
Definitely need more of this in my life please 🙏. Sir Hamwick 😁
wind blade is amazing, grab it asap!
Love see wanderbot try and finish the game or least get to s tier to see what happens of course probably over time to not burn out on it
Yo I would love to hear your opinion and recommendation for bullet heavens! I can't wait for the video!
oh sick, it's a full release now? nice
Still in Early Access, sorry if I misspoke! But at least it's not a super limited demo now.
I like this game alot!

The Discord for Rogue Genesia also has a lot of tips & tricks, and other info
At the moment, there's up to World D, with each world being one additional map in size. Though D is currently Beta test locked
There is also an active attempt made by the Dev of the game for modding to be enabled, and is currently being worked on (again, in the beta testing version of the game only for now)

Hey the map looks like a different angle of Peglins map. I'm just curious if anyone knows of any other games with similar maps?

Are there any of these bullet heavens that you can control with JUST the mouse?
I can't stand WASD...
No, don't think there are any yet...
Can I know why you don't like wasd?

Ironically the Bullet Heaven 1 and 2 games let you control with mouse. They're regular bullet hells though; not "bullet heavens".
