No one has any right to pressure someone else on having another child, whether it be baby #2 or baby #3, it’s no one’s business but your own…I had my baby #3 10 years after baby #1, there’s two years between my first two and then we decided to have another child…he’s the spoilt one of the family Lol 😂, although they’re all grown men now Lol 😂, you’ll do what’s right for your family…💙💙💙
Don't get stressed family!!! One day will come when you realize that it's time for baby #3 or that in fact, you're absolutely fine with only 2. Don't think too much about it, you're still young. Will figure out eventually ❤

OMG, Derik! Listen to what Sarah is saying. She's exhausted and you've been out of commission twice in the past year or so. Remember, Sarah and you, have 2 kids to take care of during the pregnancy. You'll have a third when it's right. You have a beautiful family and you're good parents!!

Derik needs to start therapy to figure out what void he's trying to fill with a 3rd kid while continuously rendering Himself helpless.

I really think it would be better for everyone if he stayed at his parent’s in the crucial first weeks - it benefits no one if this surgery fails for something as avoidable as slipping on a child’s toy. That or they need to invest in a lot more professional help.
Yes, filming and pickle ball can wait. Your husband needs you. Now is not the time to do things for you. Hoping he didn't do more damage when he slipped.
@@adnyl6288I agree they should have gotten a babysitter that time. It it is ABSOLUTELY fine for her to take a few hours for herself. Sarah’s mental health is just as important as Derik’s healing. If she needs a few hours away from the house after taking care of the two kids and Derik through the first surgery and now this second one she should absolutely do it! “In sickness and in health” does not mean 24/7 by your partners side and ignoring your own needs or life!
I think Sarah is already dealing with three kids right now and for the last year. It’s not easy being the 24/7 caregiver and also taking care of a toddler and a baby plus add on the move and all the traveling. You guys need to settle down so Sarah can have her me time before she’s completely burned out. At least that’s what I’m seeing when watching your videos. Praying for your healing Derek so you can get back to your family. ❤🙏🏻

Derek is not a kid. He is injured. He deserves to be taken care of for awhile. He is a very hands on Dad! Have some empathy.
Derek should not be babysitting while he is recovering, sorry Sarah but podcasts, pickle ball and all the rest has to wait until at least 6 weeks after Derek's surgery

Derek, if you have to have surgery again, please tell your doctor to put you in a full cast. At least that way you can't reinjure your knee.

Last I looked, their net worth was $26million. Should have good insurance. Even if not they can afford and should make professional rehab a priority. Sad for young father to possibly be headed for complete knee replacement. His recovery should be top of list.
Sarah has not stopped since Sunny, new podcast , kids, Derik. She does not rest. Derik needs to listen, as much as it sucks that he is injured, he could have avoided the 2nd op by behaving. Its not fair on her. The baby will come if its meant to be. Two has been alot Derik because you're always injured. Leaving Sarah to look after 3 AND work. As well as the house. If baby #3 is meant to be, she will be. Your both young. Derik focus on getting strong and not doing anything silly. You're both awesome parents. Give it time xxx
She is so kind to him. Sometimes I see a lot of patience and silence, you know? She had a day that she worked on the podcast and cried about childhood and suddenly he thinks it's fine to talk about having another one... just enjoy this moment and try the best to be responsible, derik!!

We had an age gap of 5 yrs and then two more with two years gap. What a great time we had! When first two were 8 and 6 they were so smart and happy and going to school. Then baby time came again and everyone was rested and energetic. I was through with pregnancies by 32. Perfect for us. God bless you both with good minds and hearts.

Nothing wrong with Derik wanting another. He loves his life and family. Sarah does need more support from him to make it happen though. It's a lot of solo parenting while Derik recovers from his injuries. She's also being a care giver for him. She deserves a safety net too.
He doesn't have to be pregnant 9 mos., deliver the baby, beat up HIS body. He goes on vacay constantly and is always injured so can't take care of the kids. This is Sarah's future. He surely must see her distancing herself from him. Absolutely under no circumstance should he be thinking about having another baby. He needs to grow up FIRST.

Let her body rest and her mind. She needs a period of time for her body to heal since Sunny too. It takes two years. This last year has been a lot. Let her bring it up to you and don’t push.
Derik and you have so much on your plate right now. It is okay to ask for help! 💗 Sarah, you definitely need to take some me time for your own sanity (since you have to take care of Derik, Jack, and Sunny), but until Derik has healed more, having someone that is more able bodied to help Derik and the little ones out would be a good idea. That way Derik doesn’t accidentally re-injure himself and the little ones are safe as well. 🥰 Also, hiring a cleaning service once a week to do the laundry, housecleaning, etc. would be a godsend for your family while Derik is on his healing journey. I know that life is challenging right now, but lean on God as well as your family and friends to help you get through this trying time. I am sending strength, prayers, and positive vibes your way. 💞
Sarah is just starting to shine as a person. She is so good on her podcast with Lauren. Please think about giving her some space. Being a mom is tough, it’s a lot and she’s great, please let her enjoy this stage of her life for a little while. If another child is meant to be that will happen. Derek see how your new hobby goes, you might have a change of heart and be good with 2 kids.

Yeah I think as long as Derek is not fully recovered, thinking about another baby would kill Sarah. Guys, priorities. Life happens and if you cannot have the age gap the first two have, the 3rd one being a bit later would be ok, so the other 2 kids will understand better to have a new addition to the family. 3 are already an uneven number anyway, so the gap would not really matter. However, having the same age gap as Sunny has with Jack seems like a reasonable request and thought. Then Jack can be a very good example as a brother for the other 2.
I seriously wouldn't even think about it until Derek is completely recovered, no chances of another fall down. How would Sarah deal with 2 kids while pregnant on her own? NO WAY.
Sarah, in order to give to your kids, you need to be content yourself. If you are tired and running around the kids all the time on your own, I'm sorry but that's not even fair on any of your kids....

It's easy for men to have an opinion when they don't have to put their bodies through it and in Derek's case, when he's being injured more than half of Sunny's life. Sorry, but it is what it is.
She has very little time for Sunny as it is. She is not ready to be a full time mom as it is. It’s still all about her

She's always the responsible side of the couple, taking care of the kids and husband and clearly looks like holding back her tiredness around Derek and being "lightweighted" about the circumstances... maybe cuz she doesn't want to hurt his feelings?!

the wider age gap may benefit as jack and sunny are able to help taking care of baby number 3. rushing it now, its stressful to Sarah's body, mental and emotional health... and this I am putting financial aside.
My God, the nanny takes care of the children, the cook cooks, the cleaning service does the cleaning. They have no problems. Expect a third one in a year.
Stranger here. While I say have a kid when you’re ready, I also say have a kid when Derik isn’t out of commission. It’s not that he isn’t a present father, but even the moment of Sarah saying “you come to me” to a man who has an out of commission leg tells me she’s run out of patience. That and the idea of her running full steam the past few weeks means she’s not in a good place to feel out of control anymore.
She looks pretty done but trying to not express negative feelings. She's a saint for that because if it was happening me... this man would be quiet in the bedroom till this knee come back to life. He just sounds bored af talking about another baby and she's trying to have a life beyond the mess.

@juliapelizzon7497 yes finally! Someone gets it! Derek is irresponsible and selfish. It's how he got here. I think, my take on the whole situation is anyway, that Sarah loved Derek to begin with. She loved him enough to want to marry him and intend to carry out those sacred marriage vows to him. But he was not prioritizing and being careful enough, by his own admissions, so he was careless and stupid and took risks that landed him where he is now, after getting injured multiple times. I get it, he and Tanner his brother, are super active and they love their adventures. But Tanner is careful because he understands that he is not a single bachelor. He has a family, a wife and kids who rely on him and he can not afford to get busted up. This does not seem to be a revelation that Derek has ever considered. So he continues doing his daredevil stunts and gets injured badly enough to need surgeries. Sarah might have been ok with his care, except that by that time, she had two very young children to care for. I remember that one video where they went to an outing somewhere where he was in a wheelchair and she was having to push him uphill in the rain and he just sat there, acting like he did not have hands to attempt to help. That's what brought her to her wit's end!
It would seem that she is seeing that she is not in a loving relationship. Instead, she has ended up with a very damaged person, mentally, physically and emotionally. His idea of being a dad was to take young baby Jack away from his mom and run with him, ignoring whatever he needed at the time, like napping. He did it to Sunny, just at a lesser extent. Then we see him, still ok, before surgery, and, failing to clean and tidy the house as Sarah takes a break with Lo to refresh and mentally ready herself to go through this again just before his surgery. Of course, she has had it with him! That is why she admitted that she was thinking of putting him in a nursing home to recover. And now, he has the audacity to bring up having a third child, low-key pressuring her to get pregnant soon?!!!
Just my humble opinion, but I don't think that she should have anymore kids for him. Sarah has already checked out emotionally. It's probably time to check out all the way!
I will say this: it's maybe probably not Derek's fault entirely. If that injury he sustained as a teenager caused brain damage, it could be why he is the way he is. And that cannot make for a good husband.

Derek please stop and listen to Sarah. She is the one who will be pregnant and delivering a baby. Babies are a blessing not a timed contest. You should concentrate on your physical health and Sarah' s emotional and psychological health right now. Motherhood takes a huge toll on a woman. The physical act of carrying and delivering a child is just the beginning. Please don't push her too hard. You don't want to start an unintentional resentment. Just love each other and the little ones you already have. Your knee also needs a while to heal. Slow down! You already have so much more with your family than most people ever have.
My children were 6 years apart and I don't regret it.I had six wonderful years with my son and when he left home I had six wonderful years with my daughter.And they are grown and get along very well.Actually live on the same street, good luck with your decision.If God's will he will send you another little one at the right time ❤
When you are BOTH ready, then it’s time❤ Pregnancy puts a lot of strain on a body, a relationship & thus, the entire family. Keep communicating & listening to each other (Derik; especially listen to Sarah like you have!!!!!)
I pray your knee is okay, Derik! Guard it with your life! I agree with waiting for a year or 2 before baby #3. Allow Jack and Sunny to have the attention they deserve, before bringing in another baby. ✨️💙💝💙💝✨️

💯%! 🫶🏽 Plus, Jack and Sunny will be able to help take care of baby #3 and take on a more active big sibling role once they are a both a bit older and more mature. Plus until Derik is fully healed and given a clean bill of health, Sarah has her hands full taking care of Jack and Sunny as well as her husband.
To help to keep the crutches from digging into your sides, take some towels and wrap them around the top of the crutches. This will spread your weight around into a bigger area. It will stop any type of sores. Hope this will help while you get better.
The towel thing makes using crutches a lot easier. 🥰
We have 4 kids. They basically came in 2 "sets" of 2, with a 4.5 year gap between #2-#3. We had a couple miscarriages in there so it wasn't planned to have a gap, but it worked out that way and I'm SO GRATEFUL now about it. Our oldest 2 were 20 months apart and they are both college age now (one is on a mission in Provo and the other is at BYU-I) and I was basically in shock when they both left within a couple months of each other for their grown up life adventures. It was just all so fast and really hard for me. My younger 2 are still 14 & 11 so I'm treasuring that I still have them for a bit. Right now you guys are in that busiest and hardest time because they aren't super independent, but as cliche as it sounds, it goes by really fast. And it will go by. 😢😭 Can you tell I miss my kids lol?!
While I have two younger sisters, we have a similar age gap to your children. My sister Stephanie and I are seventeen months apart and my sister Claire was born four years and seven months after I was born. We are all grown up now and live in different states, and even though we got along well with each other when we were growing up, we are even closer now than we have ever been. Enjoy the years that you have left with your youngest two still living at home. 💗 And I wish your family and you all of the best. Take care.

My son and his wife have 3 children. They are 6,4,2 years old and are the most amazing children. Both parents work full time jobs outside of the home they are constantly tired never getting to sleep through the night. They said the difference between 2 and 3 children is a lot more difficult than they could ever imagine. ❤

Also, we tried for 7.5 years for #2, and after him decided to try for a 3. We had twins, at 26 weeks when 2nd baby was 16 months. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, not that I’d change a thing. But there’s always the possibility of spontaneous twins, believe me!!! 🤣

Get what you're saying @nualarosth but with me it was having my 4th baby that completely exhausted me after 1 week in hospital and having my tubes tied via an open operation and I was in total agony my husband was great and did the night feeds and took the other kids to school etc but it hit me hard.
Had so little time left with our third that we had few baby pictures. Told him some of our first born pics was of him.
I don't know why people think they need so many kids. Do they just need something new, like a new toy? Or new material to post?
Don't feel like you have to cave to that! If you are fine with two, that is perfectly fine! Kids deserve attention and parents that can keep up with each one fully, not so exhausted the best they can do is desperately tread water to stay afloat.
Yeah, someone can crank out 3, 4, or more...but with each, the parents get stretched thinner and thinner. Don't do that to yourself--or your kids! ❤

@@SilverMunro6 agree totally. I'm not saying this is their intention, but I think it can be a motivator for many creators. They need content after all, and when the kids (specifically the novelty aspect of them) are a huge/main draw, there is a pressure for "new content. "
Wait for any more kids maybe just 2 is perfect! Derik needs to heal fully first a long time! Please hire a nanny and a maid too and a caregiver for Derik I think you can afford it! You all need the help now more than ever!
I have had 3 major surgeries on my knees and I'm currently waiting to get replacements for both. I absolutely feel your pain in all areas as far as healing and needing new hobbies. The older you get the longer the healing process. Best wishes! Sarah you look stunning.

Than hearing your kids giggle and have a good time with each other and show love for each other. I remember feeling my heart was so full and grateful. You must be doing something right. If you can believe there is something better than that. When you hold your first grandchild. I just never thought I would feel love greater than my husband or dtr. Sarah, its ok to need and want more time to center yourself before having another baby. I know we all start out with the idealized visions of what we think are ideal, but doing what your heart says is more important. Yall have a beautiful little family. Enjoy Jack and Sunny for now and dont let the world put any pressure to do more. Im a mom of 4 and each baby got further apart in years and everyone of them came to us right on time and are cherished and loved. Sending love and blessings from 1 mom to another.
Don’t forget, teaching kids please and thank you is also a way of teaching them self-regulation! Knowing there’s a process helps kiddies with frustration of wants :)

People shred Kylie Jenner for everything from plastic surgery to using her private plane, but she’s got the most polite child, Stormi, the little girl always says “please & thank you” at all the appropriate times, and constantly tells her mother & grandmother how much she loves them.

I don't think Sarah was being honest, she couldn't be cause it was being filmed. She ALREADY Has 3 kids. He is so clueless as to what a pregnancy does to a woman, mentally, physically and emotionally. No wonder she spent the nite with her friend. Respite, let daddy deal with the kids and he is still clueless. I think Sarah wanted to scream "are u freaking kidding me?" when the idea of baby no 3 was brought up. I would say couples therapy immediately, as communication, honest communication has broken down😢
It is weird to have that conversation on camera in front of a world of strangers but that is their bread and butter. For family vloggers pregnancy is a moneymaker.

Or if you are, whether you're in a stable relationship. Because marriage isn't always 50/50, there are times when one side does more. They both seem like genuinely good, nice people and there's no need to hate on them.

You get 1-2-1 time with the baby and Sunny and Jack have lots to keep them busy throughout the days and will be semi independent.
You also get to really enjoy Jack and Sunny whilst they are little.

Seriously, I don’t think it’s safe for him or the kids - they must be able to afford some help - or put the kids in nursery/daycare.
God forbid there was a fire in the house, or one of the chocked. You can’t take proper care of those children without furthering injuring yourself.
Endometriosis, look up Endovan. It works. Sunny needs to be able to be a baby for a while longer..My granddaughter was 1 when her new brother was found out about. She was a bit over 2 when he was born. She had issues, the baby needs me, quiet the baby's asleep..She resented him for a while..Derek, please take care of yourself!
Horrible idea to leave him alone with the kids, for the exact reasons mentioned. Accidents happen and these babies are too little to be left with Derrick right now.

I had four, two boys and two girls. They were all about 2yrs. apart and I would not change a thing if I could go back! When you get past two, the third and 4th were a breeze. I had my 1st at 20 and at 28 I was done! They were all so much fun!!!!!! Now I have 13 grandkids and 2great grandkids and I am still young enough to enjoy them all!! Have them when you feel it’s right and not when you are unsure, but you guys are great parents and that’s all it takes….and LOVE!!!

I had 4 children very close together. 1 & 2 at 15 months apart. 2 & 3 16 months apart. 3 & 4 22 months apart. Although I am grateful and my kids were all healthy and have remained fairly close I do have regrets. I wish I would have had more time with them. It is difficult working and taking care of them. I was so exhausted and never really recovered fully. I missed out on so much of my first 2 growing up.
There is time for another one. Enjoy your little ones. I suggest to let your body heal and get rested.

❤ Hey at least Derrick says basically it is up to Sarah when she wants to carry another child. That is sweet. I mean it is the woman who goes through it. I know lots of families who out a little more of a gap between the second and third or third and fourth. At least you are both open minded and respectful of each other about it. I find it very weird that they are trying to sell people that Jack is into the Beastie Boys. He’s friggin 3 years old. Three year olds are into Wheels on the Bus. I think that’s just Derek wanting his kid to be into cool stuff.

Hi Beeston Family, Derik you have to take good care of yourself. You are young and live life to the fullest, but you have to be more responsible than last time. Your children need you healthy so you can enjoy doing things with them while they’re young. They grow up so quickly. I had two children and I regretted that I didn’t have a third. The disconnect is very apparent. She acts annoyed with him constantly. I realize he can’t help much right now but he’s always so precious to her and the kids. Sad to see.

There is nothing wrong with two children. They are both totally overwhelmed with all they have going on already! Why do either of you feel you need more? Sarah’s female health is most important not another pregnancy.

Families without the support system, the cushy income, the endless vacations, and the luxury of staying home all day. That’s what overwhelmed is.
I don’t think I could leave my kids with my husband while in a cast an on crutches. And I honestly don’t think he would let me. Derek is to sweet of a man an agrees to things he maybe shouldn’t because of it. Take it easy derek. You should probably be doing a lot less than you are. Running around after 2 very small kids in a huge house is a lot on your leg. And I gotta agree with most of the comments in saying it’s not the greatest time for baby #3 because of your leg. I just don’t get it why Americans think this way! Why do you have to have babies close together in age? Is not that when they are teenagers or even when they start going to school, they will be hanging out together since they at some point will have different friends, different interest in life! For me is mind blowing! You just had a baby! The mother’s body needs time to heal and go back to normal.
I’m not sure why foreigners lump all Americans into one group. We all have different personalities and perspectives regardless where we come from. Not all Americans use paper plates have children close in age or all the other things you may see on social media. People are different and just because we all live in the area of the world doesn’t make us all the same. I’m not sure about where you live are all of you the same? I’m a minimalist my children are 5 years apart and I live in a tiny home. As you can see I’m the complete opposite Derick and Sarah.

You're so right!! I am American myself yet i don't understand it either because it truly makes no sense at all. I honestly think it has something to do with how clueless so many Americans are about what "being healthy" actually means. We are all drowning in propaganda, pharmaceuticals, and processed foods....everyone has at least one chronic illness + several vitamin&mineral deficiencies...everyone has at least one family member with cancer(and if someone doesnt have a family member with cancer, then it probably means they themselves are the one with cancer💀) ...it just goes on and on. We foolishly put our own health and our children's health into the hands of so-called professionals, and question nothing. America is not healthy and America has no idea what healthy even looks like, no idea what healthy even means.
I didn’t know Americans think this way an I’m American. Just because rich people on UA-cam do doesn’t mean all Americans do. My kids are 18, 12, 9 & 5 all with the same man. And I honestly don’t know a single couple who have worried about the spacing of their kids. I don’t think it’s a thing especially an American one. And keep in my mind the US is very very large with many people an we are all very different.

My sister and I are 2.5 years apart and it was perfect in my opinion. Close enough in age that we got to play baseball on the same team, and dance in the same classes, but far enough apart that we had our own chances to be by ourselves ❤ whatever you decide will be perfect for you guys

Oh Sarah I feel for you. Derek you don’t carry the baby’s. And you’ve had all these knee injuries during both of your kiddos. You need to be able to pick up more of the parent duties. So you have plenty of time. Love you both but you are the man of the family and Sarah is being both mom & dad & wife. So stop doing things that can possibly get you injured.
Give me a break. Derrick didn't injure himself intentionally. He's been in pain. Many women look after their kids all day, ALONE - (military families for example) for months on end and I think I've seen a Nanny around their house. Having another baby is personal...not up for international discussion.

I’m in the same boat 🛶 Baby 2 is turning 4 soon, and I’m still undecided. Right now I’m really enjoying my kids as they get older, and being able to help out w my baby nieces/nephews.
Even without having surgery and recovery, adjusting to two kids is hard. I just got my 3rd and it’s been so much easier this time round. I agree though, it’s better to feel ready than push through and stress yourself out.

Keep the floors clear. To leave him with the children, much less overnight, and him on crutches having slipped twice on things on the floor is serious. Not funny at all.
So, I love you guys. I really do, but with that said my mouth dropped open when I heard Sarah had left to play pickle ball. She was just gone and stayed the night away. Derick is not ready to take care of the kids by himself yet. I’m sure the Dr would say the same thing. I mean look at the color of his foot. A little sacrifice now, will have great benefits in the end for you both. Derick will be able to heal properly. Come on Sarah think about it. Someday you will look back on this time and see that it was just a bleep in y’all’s life. So, give up a few things to be at home and take care of the kids so Derick can heal.

You’ll just know the right timing for another baby. We have four. Our #3 and #4 are Jack and Sunny’s ages. All the kids are two years apart. It’s a lot but we make it work. But yes, Sarah, all my pregnancies have been rough, none of my babies have STTN until 18 months and I do all the night wakings too because I’m EBF. I’m insanely tired all the time. But it’s also the sweetest season when they are little and I’m trying to just love the little moments.
I like Sarah's puts her priorities on the podcast and on her sister-in-law and not on her husband and kids and then she wants to watch Avatar and ignore her husband
Sometimes i cant believe the way people think this couple has it so hard and works so hard. They dont! For one there is a nanny there most times, most all of youtube families have nannies. Im sure todays show was planned. They have to come up with content, so a lot are planned. And i really do not see where Sarah has it so hard. Sarah has a life modt of us will never know. She has nannies, she has house keepers, she has a hair dresser and somebody to help her with make up. She can come and go as much as she wants, which that is proven lol. Dont forget all them vacations. 😅😅😊😂

Please Sarah tell your audience you did not do that. Please tell us there was a babysitter or a family member that was not shown on camera to help Derick while you were gone.
Yes, and Derik's knee got injured again because of Jack. Children that small are not able to understand a serious injury of their parent, healing that is important and precautions to take. I don't think it was a good idea for Derik to be alone with the children overnight. Need to get a grandparent there overnight or someone to stay if Sarah is not home for a night.

Hiyah! you have to change your crutches to the kind that come around your forearms..(.I broke my leg skydiving back in the day, (cruthches for 8 weeks) a med student suggested it to me. More control and longer stides as well as not having to put them down as much. Oh and you have to elevate injury above your heart. Good luck on your mend! Love your beautiful family!
