Rhett, as a left handed person, I use both hands all the time. But it's because left handed people are born into a predominantly right handed world. We HAVE to learn to use both hands.

55:00 I fell asleep at my gf's house on prom night. together kinda sitting/laying/arms around each other on the couch together watching tv. Her dad woke me up at 7 am and told me I should go home. For two Mormon families that was pretty crazy that neither one of us were given a hard time by our parents about it.
My dentist told me that i need to start varying my brushing routine, she took one look at my mouth and said "you start brushing on the left dont you" because my left teeth were taken better care of than my right

Last time I sprinted I was 39. Not pnly was it weird because I hadn't even tried to run in years but I had also lost at least 50 lbs since the last time I had ever run.
I naturally sleep on my back but now that I’m pregnant it’s so uncomfortable 😭 sleeping on my side is so painful for my shoulders, hips, arms and sleep has been such a huge issue. I can’t wait to sleep on my back comfortably again
I have the same ambiguous handedness as Link! For whatever reason I write, hold my phone, hold utensils (basically eat) left-handed, yet I throw, bat, and play guitar/bass right-handed. I never made a conscious decision to do any of those with either hand, some things just seem easier for me to do with my right hand and others with my left. Really curious if there's a medical explanation because I know I'm not ambidextrous as I for sure cannot do things equally well with both hands.
My dad is like this too!! Except he writes right handed but does lots of other things left. There’s gotta be some kind of medical explanation but I don’t have it either haha.
We had our prom in the gym/cafeteria my junior and senior year and I was on the prom decorating committee so prom is one of my happiest memory sets from high school. Just getting to stay after school with my friends making pretty decorations and building the set for the photographs, I fully appreciated it and lived it up. Went without a date both years and my friends and I had the absolute best time. Except after my senior prom we went to my uncles farm for the after party my cousin was throwing and like, Lily’s 21st bday prom is so much better for that because it’s so dangerous that that many kids (class of 30 seniors plus all the lowerclassmen who were friends or dating seniors in a small rural K-12 school where we’d all gone to school together since kindergarten 😅) many of whom were drinking for the first time. It was rough. Still made super good memories have great stories to tell but it could have easily gone bad if our older cousin wasn’t running interference and took everyone’s keys, he even set up a drunk tank for us if he thought we had had too much and needed to go into timeout 😭❤️

All 3 of my nephews play competitive baseball they all pitch left headed and bat right headed because their dad taught them to pitch and he is left handed, but they are all right handed for everything else

Ambidextrous is being able to do something (or many things) with equal skill/precision with both hands identically. There are quite a lot of people with mixed-handedness, many people use their primary hand for things requiring precision (like writing, or eating) and then the opposite hand for things that require strength (like using a hammer, or swinging a baseball bat, or a golf club). Being ambidextrous is far more rare. Especially if you are talking broadly speaking, rather than for 1 or 2 specific things/activities.
As someone who never played baseball and isn’t terrible at catching things, I can not catch as well with my left hand at all. Saving time not having to switch hands :)
The prom stories confuse me as a Canadian lol. We don't call the grades freshman, sophomore ect. That's usually college or university. At least where I live in Ontario (small town) haha. I didn't go to prom because it just didn't appeal to me and I do not regret it 🤣

My right hand is dominant, but there are a few, specific things I do exclusively with my left. I have actively tried to do other random things with my left hand, to varying degrees of success. I can easily catch things...both frisbees and balls...with both hands. I never played official baseball, but I did play a lot of catch and frisbee. I'm an artist, and absolutely 100% can NOT draw with my left hand, or write legibly. That said, without any forethought to the matter...my private moments as a teen boy also began and continue to be left-handed...though I have swicthed up, in the past, for "mystery". Another odd left-handed situation is cooking. I have a tendency to use my left hand for spoon/spatula use, while holding the pan/pot handle with the right...which is apparently backwards, for a right-hander. But when it comes to being on a PC, I can't use a mouse with my left hand, at all. As Rhett mentioned...you can feel the dumbness of the hand, when trying to do those things. So...yeah...dominant hand stuff is odd.
No no no Rhett. Sleeping on your stomach with no pillow is honestly the best way to keep your back and hips straight if you're not going to sleep on your back. You lay your arms down to your sides, I personally tuck my hands under each hip bone. And then you have to position your head just ever so slightly to either side to breathe. Perfect sleeping position. 👌🏻
ok, I am only 5 minutes in. A lot of people think that people are right or left handed and that ambidextrous people are completely both. There is a better way of looking at it. It is called "cross dominance". I believe (not going to look it up) that there are very few, as in less than 0.01 peoople who are totally ambidextrous and have no problem doing any given task with either hand. There are far more people who are right handed for some things and left handed for others. This is cross dominance. For me, if I am using a tool I prefer my right hand. If my hand is the actual tool than my left hand works better. Even then I sometimes use tools and people ask me if I am left handed because I don't realize I am doing it backwards. Fun fact: almost everybody is cross dominant to a degree. Probably more than people who are dominant with only one hand. Maybe you do everything right handed but you open a can with your left hand, or peel a fruit with your left hand while your right hand holds the fruit in place.
my 7 year old tells me that if you are right handed as a man you can live up to 10 years long than a left handed man, I have no idea where he got that idea from, I will have to google it.

Id recommend the Coop pillow. Yes it's pricey but it's adjustable filling is so wonderful. It's been months and no flattening
