I am new to your channel. I have seen just couple of your videos, but I wanna go through all of them, one by one, being very keen on Asian world. I can already tell that your videos, although I have seen just couple of them, are amazing; informative, useful, helpful and trustworthy, just like you, my friend.
I am originally from Czechia, but English has become my second mother tongue over the years.
I don't know if this will sound prejudice or critical or so, but I'd definitely choose an Indonesian woman over Filipina woman. I met some Filipinos many years ago in Vancouver Canada, and over the years I met many Filipinos online - not in dating apps, rather a meetup apps, but thanks to them I learned some useful and important details about them. I don't know if I can use "personally", coz it was actually virtually, but I want to refer to my own experience.
With this being said, based on my experience, observation and this video, which is btw great and it confirms lots of my thoughts, I agree with everything, although I haven't been to either of those countries yet, but definitely wanna visit and explore.
To the point - Filipinas have very good level of English, and some speak rather formal English or use words that no other nation in the world uses, which makes it difficult sometimes to understand. Next thing is their positive mindset - never met more positive nation in my life, despite their struggles and situation. I was told, by some of them, that it is thanks to the fact that for over 333 years they were "controlled" by the Spaniards, and there is also some American influence. Every time you read a message from Pinoy or Pinay, it is so relaxing, positive and inspiring, which is truly unique and shocking, in a good way. Then it is their beauty, which is truly unique and extremely difficult to resist.
Plus they love to help and are open and friendly and always work in groups and do things in numbers of people, which is the opposite of most European countries, especially Czechia, where people are so divided and suffer from trust issues and are grumpy and negative. Mainly in Prague. Pitiful, but it is for another time.
On the opposite side, Filipinos cons - Never in my life have I ever come across more boring sense of humor. This is a cultural matter, coz Czechs enjoy making fun of everything, leading to insults, yet still not as savage as British sense of humor. Whenever you hear or read Filipino person to joke or attempting to say something funny, usually it feels like "hm, ok, and?". Another con is that they can be very touchy and can complain and potentially give you a hard time. Not trying to sue you or kill you or so, but they can be very angry. Another thing - they love to talk too much about themselves and not really asking many questions about you, and if so, just some. I love to talk a lot too, but I always give a space to the other person to share their thoughts and feelings. I truly do not like self-focused people. This is something that many of them had in common, I am referring to women, coz I met lots of them, it is just different, I think for most men it is special to meet many women, by this I mean as human beings, not sex toys or so.
Now about Indonesians - mature, intelligent, curious, smart, calm and humble, very beautiful, you can actually sense their feminine side in them. As you said in the video - they want to be women. Also met many of them online, same apps, but they are more relaxed, although it is also true that the language barrier gets in the way sometimes, but they try to speak English. They are also very patient, based on my experience, so it is not difficult to help them improve their English knowledge. Next thing is their religion - I have nothing against it, me being OFFICIALLY an atheist. I put it into capitals, because I am spiritually oriented person, but I do not pray, but I do not deny anything. I am in the middle.
Everything you said - they are happy to be good housekeepers, cooks, wives, lovers, partners, mothers. Perhaps it can differ and there might be some Indonesians with the opposite mindset, just like in the Philippines. But honestly and personally speaking, I can sense that Indonesians are more suitable for life. Not saying that Filipinas are not, but it is just my personal feeling and thought based on observing the conversation between me and the woman from Indonesia and the Philippines.
I hope I won't receive much hatred or criticism for sharing my honest thoughts, opinions and feelings, haha. Wanted to contribute somehow given the virtual experience I have, plus some small real-life experience.

indonesians women are mostly need security because of the culture that women are house wife and rise the kids. about jealousy, I don't think its happen to expat only. it happen to local people also, and this type of jealousy isn't women attitude only, the men of Indonesia also very protective to his girl and kinda jealous type compare to western. this is because of our people orientation is to be married, and invested the future for the girl/boy we've choose, and its happen to teenager as well when they're dating. so it is more because of the culture that we need to find a girl/boy that we can trust the most for the future (happy family and the security).

From my life experience, we are usually taught not to ask for money from men outside our family, except asking husbands usually, even boyfriend very rare, asking other men for money can get dangerous problem from those strangers you know 🙂.

Your just making excuses, every country in the world has own hundreds dialect and languages but still learn English. Maybe your country just making excuses because of lack of education and just focus in there own country , communicating in other nations is very important that's why English need to be learn for countrys development.

But In the Philippines it's the same, man. But they use both English and Tagalog as linguas francas. and India the same. They use Hindi or English as linguas francas. a guy from Delhi speaks English with a guy from Chennai (but usually Hindi with somebody from Kolkata or Mumbai).

Indonesia refused those influence and initiated NAM in 1950 as our 1st President as one of the founding fathers, the formation of NAM's purposes: to strongly rejected all forms of colonialism and to create peace. We refuse or at least we trying to minimize unnecessary influence from outside. As a result, there are now 60 countries entering Indonesian language into their curiculum.

I have not been to Indonesia yet but I have been to the Philippines five times. I have the impression that Indonesian girls are generally a bit more curvy particularly in the chest than most Filipino girls. Most Filipino girls tend to have almost nothing up top and they all wear padding.
In the end, women are not a food that you can tastes or try if you want po and spit if it's not turned out not your liking or expectation. Respect women no matter/wherever country they from. Godbless! 🙏
It's funny how some Filipinas in particular have reacted since the release of this video: very sensitive and irritated. I forgot to mention this in my video, this hypersensitivity in some Filipinas. Strangely, the Indonesian girls seem to take everything very relaxed...

Thx for video . I remember I had a Filipino girlfriend for about four years. She never let me be friends with anyone because of the jealousy that Filipinos have and I never cheat on her. Then one day, I invited one of my friend from university over to my place. Wow man u have no idea what happened , It was like World War 3 . A huge fight broke out. Maybe it's just because I'm interested in Indonesia I seem to find videos on retiring in Indonesia. As you stated in other videos there are many overseas Filipinos, either immigrants or overseas workers so many Americans, Canadians, and Aussies have had exposure to the Filipino people. It was an American colony for over 3 decades so many Americans are familiar with it iand may have been stationed there during their service or a family member was. English, almost everyone has some English in the Philippines, this is not the case in Indonesia. All the signs are in English. Religion, Catholic in the PH's and 88% Muslim in Indonesia, except for Bali which is 87% Balinese Hinduism. Less likely to date a man in his 60's, 70's & 80's in Indo. Bali is a lot more expensive than the rest of Indo. and the PH. To stay long term in any of the S.E. Asian countries comes down to their visa. Not sure what the Minimalist Nomad did to get a work permanent to work in Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia but they're not easy and they usually have a time limit. Retirement visas vary in each country and some have a time limit. Indonesia I would say has the second easiest retirement visa that leads to permanent resident if you're over 55 years of age after 5 years of temp. res. visa. You have to hire a maid, have a 1 year proof of a rental lease agreement and health insurance. The PH's none of this applies and you can be on a tourist visa and renew up to 3 years before having to do a visa run. The visa, the high use of English, religion, highest westernized country, and the age gap dating is HUGE and makes the Philippines the winner for many.

No, you GENERALIZED very well. You don't really live your life by computing odds for every decision. Better to seek out what you like, also allow for chance things to happen. Indonesia is pretty awesome for someone who likes the tropics. I was close to a Catholic woman who worked in university, good job and house, spoke "good enough" English and had no problem with a 20 year age gap.
So I just countered three of your objections. Not being Muslim, I would leave the Muslim women alone, as I wouldn't want them hurt, some families are very strict about dating and cultural rules. From your statistics, 12% of Indonesians, or 34 million, are NOT muslim (12% of 283M). Greater than the population of Australia. Big enough pool?
Where do you find English speakers? Working areas of cities where there are international businesses, expat areas, college neighborhoods and college towns, maybe wealthy areas. Local events, Facebook groups etc, and networking from friends you make.
Age gaps. "Less likely to date older" is just odds. You will commonly see age gaps among the locals, Local older men with local younger women. In SEAsia, the vast majority of expats are not white. They are from companies investing in SEAsia, from Korea, Japan, China, Singapore, including international students, also many workers/students from western countries who happen to be of Asian race. Not white. Most are men and sometimes they date/marry younger locals. You just don't notice the Asian couples.
I disagree that Bali is so expensive, and is it awesome, get outside the tourist area.
Visas are a hassle everywhere. That would be the least of my decision factors. What Marcel didn't discuss was - what country best suits you? Where do you feel more at home? Housing, food, friendliness, cleanliness, safety. Moving overseas isn't just about women!

About 90% of Indonesians are Muslim and they lack any other significant western influence and it shows. Bottom line. I would always choose Filipina over Indo. Overall, IMO the ones to date for westerners are Filipinas, Vietnamese, Japanese, Koreans, Thai. In that order. Cambodian are damaged from the KR, Indonesians and Malaysians are not very compatible , Laos and a Burmese are just very different culturally Singaporeans are fine. Chinese are often more difficult than Americans. Lol. That’s just my opinion

I would say that the amount of single moms is higher in the Philippines (especially young single moms). But you have plenty of mid-aged women in their 40ies in Indonesia who are divorced and have kids.

This content is there to help them to learn about dating in Asia and to provide guidance and insights into different cultural dynamics. There are many Western men who are interested in cross-cultural dating. And, there are even many more Asian women who are eager to meet and date Western men. To say that Western men should stay where they are is just infantile, not appropriate, not at all up to date anymore and certainly absolutely unrealistic! Now, peace be with you🙏

“Marrying the Whole Family” can happen inside the USA, also. If you feel like she’d rescue her mom before you, if you wanna move far away with your wife but her family guilts her about that SO much that maybe she won’t go (with you, her husband)…That’s the bad stuff, but if you get along well with her brothers & father, it can be very nice.

Thai girls are also like this, they don't trust anything you say even when you are sincere, they are jewlous and possessive and when they get angry, they don't talk, they give you a silence treatment (and that s not good in a relationship). Otherwise they can be very sweet and caring. and families are always above you. I think it's all similar in SE asia either Muslims,Christians or Buddhists , there are common cultures.

Hard to tell. Definitely the Christian, Hindu and Buddhist women in Indonesia. They hardly marry a Muslim guy. But in my estimation based on my experience I would say that at least 50% of Muslim Women would be ok with being with a non-Muslim man. But I interpret "being" as just being in a relationship. It's gonna be different when she wants to marry because then the guy would need to convert.
I worry about the naive muslim women getting involved with westerners. Maybe she is "modern", but is her family? How about the men in her big family? Her community? May ruin her life, make her un-marryable. Might be ok in Los Angeles or London, but in her country?

Age Gap relationships are common in Indonesia but the gaps are not so extreme as in the Philippines or even Thailand. I would say that the common age gap in Indonesia between an expat and an Indonesian woman ranges between 5 - 25 years.
