- It might be Friday the 13th, but we think it should still be a feel good Friday!
So, we wanted to share with you all, our fox cubs have now all "flown the nest". Our final group of fox cubs have taken their first tentative steps back into the wild.
This year, you helped rescue and care for a record high of 209 cubs, and we and, more importantly, the cubs couldn't be more grateful for all of the support you have given them. Whether it be volunteering or donating, it all matters and we thank you so very much.

I only have a problem with foxes when they're fighting right next to my bedroom window 😣 Because of the title I can now see flying foxes - and I don't mean the real animals commonly known as "flying foxes", I mean foxes, with cartoon angel wings sprouting from either side of their spine... 😂 Thank you for that too!

209! That thrill of seeing an animal go from not standing a chance to running off where it was always meant to be never gets old or routine. And if it's exciting from the screen, it must be somewhat overwhelming at times in person.

Wildlife aid, I have a question (sorry it's off topic) - Every year at our local reservoir, thugs let off fireworks right beside the water aiming over the lake. Its not unusual for over thirty swans to be on the lake, and it seems to me these people are deliberately trying to hit the animals with them. Obviously if they did hit any of the animals it could seriously injure or kill them 😢 unfortunately this has been going on for ages and nobody seems to be doing anything about it, so I'm going to report this myself. Who should I report this too do you think?

There is something quite magical and otherworldly about foxes. Their quicksilver movements, airy dances, razor-sharp attention... It's like they are attuned to another dimension. I expect to look up from watching them play and see a procession of knights on horseback in the distance. 😍🙏
