Great job with all the animal rescues. It was sad what had to happen to the deer but you did the right thing to end its suffering since it wouldn't be able to survive in the wild.
I disagree that British wildlife has never been more under threat. During the Industrial Age, there wasn't exactly any British Wildlife LEFT. Still, I am happily subscribed to this channel and approve of the good works it does. Praise be unto those who do charitable acts.

The very first video I saw of Simon on a rescue was Sep 15, 2014 where he released a cygnet whilst trying to keep the cob away. He said to the male swan, don't be silly. From that moment I was hooked. Ty Simon and all the team.

It is so ironic that a man gives all his time to save wild animals and then on the other side there is this hunter who guns down animals for trophies and takes photos to post on social media with a huge self serving smile. These rescue missions are so heart warming and emotional.

I love how the swan inspected the bowl of goodies before eagerly diving in to eat. It warms my heart while watching all of your videos because wild animals deserve as much help as our beloved pets get. Our pets stay relatively safe with us, but their wildlife counterparts have to contend with the dangers of man-made contraptions. While it saddens me that it is necessary in the first place, the least we can do for wild animals is help them when they get the sort end of the stick in dealing with humans and our ever-growing populace.
