I did this today. I have a free cookies box that is for kids 12 and under only. This 20 something year old couple was shopping and the guy noticed the box and said, " there is an age limit right, what is it?" I said its 12 and under sorry. And he looked at his girlfriend and said she is 12 and motioned for her to go over to the box. I busted out laughing because he was willing to be a pedo in that moment to get a children's cookie. He instantly realized how it sounded and he turned around and left LOL...

I used to live in Greece. That wrapper when upside down has a blue and white cross which looks like the Greek flag! The Greek flag is blue and white. Also the upside down arch looks like a Greek lower case "Omega" letter. If you flip it upright the arches remind me of the Parthénon which you can see from any of the three McDonald's in Athens. It's a Greek flag with the final letter of the Greek alphabet that also reminds you of the Parthénon. I think this is the Goddess of Wisdom and Martial Valor Flashing gray eyed Athena Parthénos showing her displeasure with stupid woke people like this woman. Or then again, maybe it's just a wrapper! 😊

In Norway this type of stuff couldnt happen. If a customer is rude, yells or has a tone they'd just be asked to leave the premise. If the customer does not comply the employee would disengage and call the police , then they would come and remove them and serve them a permanent ban from the premise.

When I worked retail this was something that happened to me a few times. Its frustrating cuz even if they are wrong we have to make them happy or we get a call from corporate.

You can't argue with this type of person. I once worked as a supervisor in a call-center support job, and a customer was unhappy that her box arrived damaged. She went on a tirade about how this is always happening to her packages and she is on a list and that we were targeting her because she was an independent woman. She was dissecting our packing materials and accused us of using packing peanuts that were pink and some had black spots on them because she was a black woman. I wish I was joking, but I still have the recording of the call and she really was that psycho.

Just off the cuff, red dye is usually more expensive than blue. That way, the wrapping still has a somewhat vibrant and easily identifiable logo on it, helping them save money on the wrapping instead of increasing unit cost because of inflation. I don't know that if that's the case here or if that's why they did it, but that's probably about the level of thought that went into it.
