I really don't see any differences to other CRM software. Making people believe that they are doing everything better than other systems is definitely the best feature of Salesforce.

It's a good CRM but isn't really better, it's more so that a lot of bigger companies use it. That's the only reason to learn it, is to work at one of those companies. If you are running your own small business definitely stay away. You'd be better off with something industry specific or even something free, as Salesforce is really expensive.
