Today I am going to share my thoughts after switching to the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6. Featuring big upgrades to the design, display, battery, camera and performance. After 4 weeks of using the Flip 6, I can say that unlike the previous Flip 5, choosing the folding form factor of the Flip 6 no longer feels like a compromise, which is a big deal. But still this phone is not perfect and there are some things that you should know about before buying - all of which I’ll talk about in this video.

I do not understand this common flip phone hate. The outer screen is meant to be limited functionality. The whole point of a flip phone is to "flip it" open. If the outer screen had the same functionality as the inner main screen, then that literally contradicts the entire concept. That would be a miniature "slab" phone....in that case Shut up and buy a normal phone.
Finally someone that gets it.

Theyre either glazing or hating on it, no inbetween.
The cover screen is meant for small notifs and quick informative widgets.
Im glad we can watch netflix/youtube kn the cover screen but thats not what its meant for
yeah lol I've been using flip5 for a year now and honestly i will never go back to a slab phone. can't even fit a slab phone in my pocket and it's just too big to carry.
Samsung is trying to copy an old design that motorola came out with called the Razor that was popular back in 2006 before smart phones came out , and samsung is reinventing the wheel ...

I think the better comparison is Flip 6 vs S24 (base) or S24+... like if I'll buy a Flip, I wouldn't really consider the fold at all, and vice versa.

I've had the flip six for about 2 weeks now. It seems to photograph things pretty well, but it doesn't do a very good job with people. I tried to do a group picture of a poker night I had the other night, and the camera was maybe 15 ft away from the group of people, I took three different photos and most everybody's face is a little blurry when you zoom in even a little bit. I made sure I selected the 50 MB camera, which is kind of ridiculous that you have to press every time you want to use it.
You can go to camera settings > settings to keep > high picture resolutions and it will keep it in 50mp!

Love the phone only wish charging speed was faster and if battery can be a bit bigger.

Get a 30W charging block. Certified is better. Will give you very fast charging

if the battery has dropped to 40 percent, it takes about 1hr and 4 minutes to charge back to 100.
The flip 6 might be better than the fold 6

How is that main screen? Does that screen get bad because of movement when you are opening or closing it. Does it last longer time like 3 years?
years ago i had a razor flip phone, really liked it. been a iphone guy for years mainly as i have so many other Apple devices to connect too. i wish Apple made a flip phone. really like to try Samsung flip but would have to change so many other devices if i want them all to connect. ugh. great video

Underscreen fingerprint sensors don't make any sense on a foldable phone.
Literally. Even on a regular phone I barely like it. The side fingerprint scanner is perfect, you can rest your finger on it to authenticate so much faster rather than waiting for the option on screen

My flip 6 crease make s a noise when touching it,without dropping it or anything like that,have it for less then a month

no, you better not. putting any additional screen protector for the main screen can damage the screen.
If you're talking about the folding screen, it already has one factory installed. So it is best NOT to put one on since it already has one installed.

how long have you had it and is the middle screen still good and does it still open all the way?
wait a bit people are getting bubbles problems in the crease on the 6 and keep returning it after 2 weeks. like a line of tiny bubbles... or near camera so maybe wait a bit so that people have more thoughts on this maybe.
Had mine for about 4 months now and looks like it still bran new out the box ........this phone is pimp better then any apple product I ever owned

idk if it can be removed but it can be disabled/removed from its hotkey
Worst case scenario you can strip all permissions from the apps you cant remove
Question: are the flip 5 covers compatible with the flip 6 (it looks the same size)
If you mean the cases for the phone, no I tried. The bottom half of the flip 5 cases fit the 6 but the top half doesn't
Πηρα θηλη φλιπ 5.Ουτε το πανω μερος ,ουτε το κατω ταιριαζει.
Ομως αναγκαστηκα στο κατω μερος θηκης κ μεγαλωσα την τρυπα του μεγαφωνου .
Και στο πανω μερος της θηκης ανοιξα δευτερη τρυπα γιατι δεν ειχε πανω ,και στα πλαινα πληκτρα δεν ταιριαζει το πανω μερος ,κι αυτο το εκοψα κ το αφησα κενο.
Το μονο που ειναι συμβατο ,ειναι οι καρτες προσομιοωσης flip suite cards

They're very different phones. I've had the Flip 4 since May 2023 and don't think I'll over go back to a standard brick phone. I think you'll love having a flip.

honestly both are good, so just go with whatever u think would be best for you.
Im a samsung user and even I'll say iPhone. The phone (flip) is cute and fun BIT if it's anything like the 5th edition, it comes with a fatal flaw. The manufactured screen protector will start to bubble after a bit at the crease. Samsung will only cover one screen protector replacement and they'll make you send your phone away. Battery life sucks too

I have never used a foldable phone before but this phone looks pretty good and i also love small phones (i am already an iphone 12 mini user ) but its impossible to find a small phone these days. Z flip 6 was the best alternative but screen and battery are more priority. I also iphone user (and ipad and apple watch) but as i said i love small phones. Anyway ,the best choice is continue with iphone i guess. Thank you again

I am already iphone 12 mini user and i love small phones but its impossible to find these days so z flip 6 was the best alternative but screen and battery are more important than size. Thank you again . I guess i should continue with iphone. Also i am using ipad and apple watch so brand changing is not make more sense for me. I was just impressed about small size 😅
if you referring to Z FLIP 6 it’s better and the battery is now ok… iphone 15 only has 60hz this the reason it will hold you back if you’re from 120hz phone display.

Interesting that you call it a "phone", but never once show how to make or receive calls. Im interested to know, because thats what i use "Phones" for mostly..........😂
Because it works like a normal phone, the only addition is that when you receive a call while it’s folded you can see it from the cover screen, you can either answer it while the phone is folded or unfolded
All phones work the same in terms of making and receiving calls. What sets phones apart form each other is the extra features. What would be the point of “reviewing” a basic function?

It dosn't matter what flip or fold version - The screen is going to break Like the flip 4 which my friend lost his in 8 months of use. All of these so called fancy phones and gimmics and really need to be taken off the market Because when it breaks - the price of replacement screen is $600 to $900 dollars... and No samsung wont cover this or honor warranty or third party company will also not cover this either...

@@ljacobs357 I know this from one of my friends who had one from Fido And The screen failed, The screen broke right at the crease at 8 monthes of him owning it , - Fido failed to get it fixed and the third party warranty company wouldn't do anything either. So - Like I see it and Say this These are a nice try to reinvent the wheel but will fail. Unless you can prove samsung wrong... The screen is the weak point of these phones And It's not brain science.
I just get a new upgrade lol I don't keep my phone more then 2 yrs ....and your wrong I paid $40 for broken screens.........
