The Music used in The Legend of Korra, Book 3 Finale, 'Venom of the Red Lotus' when Korra in her avatar state triggered by the poison, fights Zaheer and the Air Nation tries to save her. It also includes the music in Ming-Hua vs Mako and Ghazan vs Bolin. Avatar The Last Airbender, The Track Team, Avatar The Legend of Aang music
Say what you want about Legend of Korra, but you can’t deny how awesome this seasonal finale battle was. It visually was both intense and brutal.
fr. korra would’ve bodied zaheer if she wasn’t poisoned and idk why she didn’t use the elemental sphere thing because she used it in vatuu and it would’ve protected her.
She lost control in the Avatar State, forced triggered Avatar State can"t be controlled because Avatar State is defensive mechanism
Legend of Korra is far more darker and intense than the first show was! I was really surprised at the Y7 rating
Pretty sure this is where Zaheer realized he fucked up. Take probably the most powerful bending Avatar ever (seriously, she had control of 3 of the elements by the time she was 6 or 7; absolute prodigy), poison her, force her into the Avatar State, and let her think you killed her father and that she has nothing left to lose. And then Korra goes fucking apeshit on him in one of the coolest sequences in either series. I think I said "holy shit" about 400 times during that fight. Probably loudest of all when she threw a literal mountain at him.
Mr. Pool- there is no comment I can agree more with. People give korra a bad rep, but I don't think they understand the gravity of what she has been through and how her character is about getting up every time she fails no matter what. It's is absolutely inspiring to see such a tortured soul go through so much and come out on top time and time again.
I disagree with Korra being a prodigy, she was much less of a prodigy than Aang and her avatar journey was more similar to that of Roku's (both took many years to master the elements). But I agree with you overall, each avatar is supposedly more powerful than the last and not to mention Korra has the strongest connection to Raava since Avatar Wan.
@@poisonedhoney4054 Well, her journey took much more time because she had to pass the tests of the White Lotus. As it is said at the beginning of Book 1, "you have truly mastered Fire, but you don't seem to get the spiritual part of it". Who says that Korra didn't master the elements at 10, but the WL wanted her to get the spiritual part???

@@akamistify Well, it depends on the person's place and personality. Aang was born in a society that is way spiritual (and he also was), while Korra is more of a direct and physical approach, just like Toph.
Also, we can assume that she reaches the spiritual part when she learns about the origin of all elements, and later gets to the Tree.

is it really so unrealistic that Zaheer could somewhat hold his own against a poisoned Korra? Especially when Zaheer's fighting style is based around evasion and coupled with exploiting weaknesses?
I love this moment. Poisoned and nearly dead. Korra in Avater state and showing in the face of dead, going Rage and only one wish in this Moment was to Kill Zaheer. That was so Epic and that is was i love on Korra..She is more humanity as Aang

the problem is, Korra had to face antagonists who were much much much more strong and way more dangerous than Zhao, Zuko(until Book 2), Azula and Ozai...
Zhao+Azula+Zuko+Ozai all together couldn't even stand Tarrlok+Noatak+Unalaq+Zaheer+Ghazan+MingHua+P'Li+Kuvira....
Korra would have just killed Tarrloq the day she stormed in the council at night only if Tarrlok didn't bloodbend her...she was so confident while saying "Still think i'm a half-baked avatar?"
The only mistake that she did was, trusting Unalaq...
Another thing, did any of you notice, Korra actually made up for the mistakes committed by the past avatars!!
Kyoshi: she created the Dai Li - the most corrupt Earth benders ever! Korra brought an end to the monarchy, thereby ending the power of the Dai Li as well! :)
Roku: his mistake in pardoning his friend "in the name of (our) old friendship" led to the air nomad genocide...however, Korra brought back the air nation back :)
Aang: had he just killed Yakone in stead of taking his bending away, Amon would never be born...Korra revelaed Amon's true identity in front of everyone thereby exposing him and crushing his very pillars on which Amon stood to fight...!

What I love the most about this fight of hers against Zaheer is that it shows the human side of Korra. Her rage & drive to kill the person who seemingly killed Korra's father that she loved dearly, all with her back against the wall due to the lethal mercury poisoning. All that shows the raw, emotional, human side of Korra. Not "the avatar" or Korra as some godly hero. But Korra as a hurt, scared and raging human being. To me personally, Korra is way more human than Aang ever was, which is why I love her much more.

Aang shows strength in his self-control and always seeking to solve matters in the best way possible.
But they also share things in common; both are very courageous and very selfless. Both also strongly seek to maintain the peace and balance of the world and take their avatar responsibilities seriously.

It’s a shame they won’t release the soundtracks from the other seasons and we only have season 1. This music is so freaking awesome! I also wish they would release the soundtracks for Avatar as well!!!

My favorite part of Korra and Zaheers battle was when Jinora and the other Airbenders saved Korra while the Korra version of the Avatars theme played.
This is perfect. I have other requests for music:
In Light in the Dark, at the ending when Korra fuses with Raava. The scene lasts about three minutes.
In the Rebirth, when Zuko finds out about Zaheer and leaves on his dragon. It last about two minutes.
In the Stakeout, at the ending when the Red Lotus try to capture Korra. It lasts about two to three minutes.
In the Ultimatum, with the battle scene. It lasts about eight minutes.
In the Battle of Zaofu, basically each time they show Kuvira in Book 4… please record Kuvira's theme. It is different from the Book 4 Balance theme.
In Kuvira's Gambit, when the Colossus appears in Republic City. It last about two minutes.
In the Korra finale, when the airbenders plus Korra try to bring down the Colossus.
This is a combination of Korra and the Avatar spirit fighting to survive and also kill the one who did this to them. By tearing mountains out of the ground and throwing them at him!
She basically fighting until death

The first minute of this video is the music that plays for the menu of the season 3 Blu-Ray. Every time I watch it, I ALWAYS have to listen to the song between every single episode for minutes on end repeatedly cause it is just so damn epic! I really wish they would allow the soundtracks for seasons 2-4 to be released instead of just only the first one

Korra had so much potential, but missed the mark. In the climax we have Zaheer accessing a great power of the void because he lost P'Li, his lover, and removing attachment grants you greater powers in the void side of airbending. That would seem to resonate with the fact that Korra, at this point believes her Father is dead - her father the Cheif of the tribe, (technically making her the Cheif). Her cultural patriarch has been lost- so her attachment Is removed to - so it should have brought out a greater power from her airbending here, no? Bare in mind, in this moment Korra literally break free of chain (sacrifice) after saying 'YOU KILLED MY FATHER'. How is this not literally representing how death made her break free of attachments?
Now consider Tenzin - I stand by the opinion that Tenzin should have been killed by the Red Lotus in this finale. Tenzin never has a relevant role again after this, and dying to save the airbenders is perfectly fitting for him. If he was to die, then that would cause Jinora to also lose her patriarch. Jinora losing her father would be another example of an airbender gaingin greater power from removing attachment. If Jinora was then the leader of the Air Nomads, then her plan to create a whirlwind (which works by an interior vacuum, so it is a form of void), would tie in to this theme of removing attachment.
But of course, neither Tenzin nor Tonraq died and this theme of removing attachments through death was never actually expanded on in the slightest.
