Game 2 of the NBA finals made one thing very clear. This is not the same Celtics team of years past lead by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown!

nope. especially if KP plays. Ky's not going to win in boston. boston will eventually start to make their 3s. Ky may make more shots but so will tatum eventually and thats going to cancel each other out. once pritchard and hauser start making shots again, the celtics margin for error just gets bigger.

Dallas isn't winning 4 of 5 against Boston. Celtics have won 9 straight playoff games, 8 straight road playoff games (going back to last year), 6 straight games against Dallas, and 12 straight games against Kyrie. It's comical that they are going into Game 3 as an underdog. Law of averages, I guess.

One of the Mavs main problems is Luka is such a turnstile on defense Boston just attack him constantly and set up ways to exploit his uselessness. He’s such a bad defender he’s almost a wash on the court despite his offensive shine. Fanboys always seem to ignore this but Boston hasn’t ignored it.

one thing clear here: boston handed this game to dallas. this was their worst win of the playoffs and one of their worst shooting games for the whole season. they arent going to shoot like this again. water will find it's level and they will start making their 3s. The fact that dallas couldnt win because they beat themselves (8 missed FTs, tons of TOVs) and boston's sterling road record is concerning. i expect boston to steal 1 if not 2 in dallas. if that 1 is G3, this series is over. If pritchard or hauser start scoring double figures again, this series is done. they were missing wide open attempt after wide open attempt.
on KP we will see in G3. we might be in for a G1 surprise again. joe and kidd's adjustments have been a treat to watch from a coaching standpoint.

I honestly think Tatum could go out his way these next 2-3 games to pad his stats and secure the finals MVP if he wanted to. But I entirely expect him to continue to facilitate and make JB, Jrue and the rest of team better even when his shots aren't hitting. And his shooting percentages are going to be much better these next few games.

When the shots aren't falling, you go into the paint.. and Holiday did such an amazing job of scoring in the paint, one easy bucket after another because so much attention is paid to Tatum. If the Mavs want to keep doing that, no problem,. Tatum doesn't need to score to be effective, which has been proven repeatedly in these playoffs. He had 7 assists in the 2nd quarter alone in G2, he's gotten so much better at playmaking and making the right play. Celtics are just too talented top to bottom.

In the last minutes of the game, White outscored Luka and Kyrie combined, 8-7.
It would be a miracle for Luka to pull this one, because Boston is 43-1 when leading series 2-0. And to make matters worse for Dallas, Boston is 8-0 in NBA FINALS when leading 2-0.
