I had the same thought about it being inspired by La Valse! I’ve heard it so many times, but that only just occurred to me recently. He always used to say Ravel was one of his favorite composers.
I love hearing him sing the catty songs best. What a blessing he was to us all.

Who’s the best playing and singing? This is so damn good! The pianists is really good.
This feels as chaotic as Ravel’s La Valse, but shorter and in song. I suppose it gives a new meaning to lover’s waltz.
