9:18 I played a game on New Queen Street yesterday that is such a perfect example of this. Masters 3 average lobby, my team was losing fight after fight after fight. They pushed all but to full-cap right off the bat and it was looking grim. I wasn't having my best game, there was very little voice chat communication between everyone, and I was feeling defeated. My team did not give up though, even at the seeming end. We stalled it out, everyone just did the best they could do in that moment, and we're able to put a hold together when we needed it most. I was uncertain if we had any chance to win - they'd nearly full-capped and we had to push it ALL the way to the other side with maybe 5 minutes on the clock - we couldn't afford to lose more than one or two fights. Nobody on the team gave up. We made some adjustments and kept going. We won a fight. Then the next. And the next. I could FEEL the momentum building in the team even if nobody was talking in voice but me. Overtime hits as we round the last corner, and the pressure was on. Any mistakes could cost us the game in an instant. The stall at the end felt never-ending, but we WON. Never give up on your team. This game was such a prime example for me of "it's always winnable". It was far from a perfect game, or even a good one. It seemed like all odds were against us, but sure as hell we were in it till the end and it was worth every second. Games like this are the reason I still love play Overwatch. If anyone cares to watch, the code is BRGSJS. I'm SpacePirate :)
I watched Jay3's reaction to this, and I'm glad to see Flats has as well. I sort of agree that Unranked to GM videos aren't that great of content, but this is definitely one worth watching. It's also because of this that this might be worth checking Bogur out more often as well.
The kiriko duel around 12:00 is a great example of how bloated soke supports kits are vs lifeweaver. Kiri narriwly survives the end of his mag and just 2 shots him... and she gets higher healing per sec, a teleport vs his dash and platform, probably the best ult in the game vs the tree. Even the best part of his kit on long cooldown is generally outclassed by suzu on a *single* target, nvm multiple. Theyre just not even remotely close.
As someone who did t500/gm flex solo q s1-8 i can 100% confirm that while lower elos can be bad, you definitely start meeting very special individuals (13:49) between diamond1 and early gm. Usually apes that play 24/7 and got there by sheer persistence and being slightly above average but vastly overestimate their abilities and will flame like there's no tomorrow. high gm/t500 is much better, late diamond/early gm is fucking atrocious egos wise. I'd like to say that I managed to make it to gm playing mostly lifeweaver, which is very different from only lifeweaver, but the biggest issue I ran into were people instantly throwing my game for picking the hero. The worst part of lifeweaver was unironically my teammates' mental upon seeing me pick the hero. Several games I had teammates tell me to swap or they'd throw, then jump off the map all game. That was infinitely more tilting than anything else and I guarantee that is why it took bogur so long to get in as well.
Ik he did this before his adjustments. I'm a LW main when it comes to support Ik he gets hate but I love him so much the amount of control he exerts on the battle field with his BDSM kit is literally my favorite with his sharp thorns his pink leash and his flowers used correctly with actual team coordination you can have zero death games so frequently
This is a lesson in why i no longer watch twitch. Chat can ruin the experience for me. I was a mod for ohnickel back in the day and never again. Dealing with almost 1k people back when bots were not really used. I feel for streamers nowadays. People back then were fing brain dead. So i can only imagine how bad they are now. Sorry his chat being dumb brought back some memories lol
i remember when i unlock lw, i played him every game for the next 4 hours i quickplay. the amount of times i've got called to switch is insane, i also lost 90% of my games, it was just horrible
The difference of Wifeleaver then and now is such a huge difference. That one can call him a strong pick situationally speaking compared to before when it was just "Dont try unless you're a god gamer"
Lifeweaver was really good when he released, i was on an 80% winstreak after his first day of release between like 10-25 games, he was just heavily overshadowed by the support power creep, but if you could play LW good back then, hes absolutely busted now, i still use his old layout just because i prefer that play style. I still think that he should get his little health flower back ngl, but it can get destroyed by enemies now
He was not even remotely good when he released, and he isn't even good now. His health flower would be whatever if the enemy could not interact with it. Them being able to use it made it actively detrimental.
The "giving up on a fight you already won" is so true. People are SO quick to pass blame or to give up when they die more than once. Team wipes are fine, just group up and try again, try different tactics, switch if you need too or use fights to build ults and try to turn the fight with that. I get it if someone is 0/5 and it's CLEAR that they really aren't adding anything to the fight, but you STILL don't need to be toxic. I just wish people would actually join the VC in the lower ranks though, would make call-outs and communication WAY easier.
The fun part is that this video is just 10 minutes longer than the original which means that the amount of content added by your reaction is really low, but hey - at least both of you got the same amount of views! And you uploaded it just 4 days after he uploaded the video he worked 3 months on, which means that you didn't even let it sit on UA-cam for a week before you started siphoning his potential views :) And kudos to you for at least linking to the original video and not hiding the creator like some other channels, but that's still low af
Good lord what were their balance team thinking when they released him that he was so bad to get to GM played by someone as good and dedicated as him he needed to be buffed. Also shows how bad the ranking system was that even had issues understanding ranking up and getting stuck in elo hell.
It's funny cause honest to god the second I stopped being shy and started doing callouts (I'm a tank so nowadays especially it's helpful), I climbed DRAMATICALLY. Was hard stuck in bronze no joke for years until I decided to finally start actually TALKING in the game. Now I'm M1 on Ball.
You know what the sad thing is? This is the experience of THOUSANDS of us who are gold / plat level with any hero not just an underpowered one. Only way to get out of gold / plat is to have master level aim and game sense. Thousand of us are hard stuck in there with garbage teammates and we don't have that godly mechanics to get out of it. If we did, we'd be GM. I play plat 2 comfortably for months and a bad streak hits. I go down as low as silver sometimes. You'd think I could just easily get out of silver once I do. Bro I drop 50 kills and we lose. I got people AFK, leave, throw, enemy team 3-4 smurfs. I finally climb back up after 100 games and guess what? I go 3-15, 5-10, 5-10. Matchmaker is idiotic.
I hard carry teams as LW. Assuming I don't DPS or anything leaving LOS; or someone picks Sombra. Play around pillars or glitch spots to juke snipes. The more they focus on concrete the less damage they doing on the enemy team too. The second I DPS, that's a 2 second switch to heal, which will kill someone, because with LW, if you stop spreading your seed, everyone dies now a days.
Yeah but remember this is when he came out and he was straight up just a toilet full of nasty ass shit His spread got reduced Instead of throwing 3 petals at the time like Echo's trishot he now did 2 Ammo increased Tree healing increased Charge healing increased from 55 to 75 Tree got more hp Tree hot overhealth healing buff You can hard carry with him now but when he came out? Oh he was booty
I don't think a lot of people realise how big of a deal it is if Dafran can't complete an unranked to gm on a hero, Dafran isn't just a streamer people, he isn't just a dude with great aim. He was an overwatch league player and one of the better ones as well, I feel like a lot of the new players don't know that.
This video gave me the inspiration to redownload palidens and start playing it again once more. Edit it is no longer supported on the switch may my memories with that game rest in piece
I found that playing aggressive life weaver is way better than sitting back trying to save teammates, dont necessarily try to frag out, but Weaver can take away favorable positions and supply support by fire when your teammates are reloading or getting outgunned
the leaving early thing is in other games as well. i loved battleborn when it was available and so often people would leave after losing the first control point on our side but then still go on to win 4v5 because the game isnt over until the game is over. same when i play magic the gathering. i always draw my last card to see my options before conceding. what i find most annoying in overwatch is that im pretty casual so that means stuck in the mental hell that is gold.

This is absolutely a skill issue. Sure, you can’t control your teammates, but you can control yourself. If you’re in this situation and don’t immediately think “huh, team isn’t killing anything, I’ll take the initiative and start damaging more,” you’re part of the problem.
I mean that can be on dps and tank to, its just a team game problem
@@xdress1746The problem is just that with Lifeweaver you can rarely kill shit unless they are right next to you and in high rank games usually you are the one who will die faster cause weavers dmg spread is crap
A Rein randomly hopped on the platform with the sole intention of charging a Pharah successfully out of the freaking air.. I'm dead
Imagine seeing Bogur on Support and asking him to play LW, he just leaves and you never hear from him again.
i watched bogurs video 2 days ago and today again along side flats.
it is such a damn good video about such an insane undertaking and journey- the edits and music choices were so on point and the emotional rollercoaster is real.
bogur is an insane lad and absolute giga chad

Damn Bogur’s editing is on another level. No react content laziness. Nice
In fact, heading over to his channel now to give him his well earned view.
:3@@PeaceMastah
Bogur stuck in diamond losing his mind is me with any hero. This is the life
Try perma gold solo support queue
The kiriko duel around 12:00 is a great example of how bloated soke supports kits are vs lifeweaver. Kiri narriwly survives the end of his mag and just 2 shots him... and she gets higher healing per sec, a teleport vs his dash and platform, probably the best ult in the game vs the tree. Even the best part of his kit on long cooldown is generally outclassed by suzu on a *single* target, nvm multiple. Theyre just not even remotely close.
Also she can wallclimb and he can't. It's dumb
@@AgniFirePunch The Japanese passive came in clutch.
I watched this a couple days ago, imma still watch your reaction to it
This'll be the third time I've seen bogur's video. It's a masterpiece quite frankly.
I love how about halfway through the video he literally just goes insane
As someone who did t500/gm flex solo q s1-8 i can 100% confirm that while lower elos can be bad, you definitely start meeting very special individuals (13:49) between diamond1 and early gm. Usually apes that play 24/7 and got there by sheer persistence and being slightly above average but vastly overestimate their abilities and will flame like there's no tomorrow. high gm/t500 is much better, late diamond/early gm is fucking atrocious egos wise. Was true then, still true now..
You were definitely right. This is a masterpiece within the Overwatch community. I laughed so hard.
21:17, when the Rein charged the Pharah off of the platform, that almost made me break my desk it was so funny.
I watched the Bogur Vid already, but, I'm glad I'm watching the react. Flats cheering for and caring about what Bogur went through was special to me. That's the way to be.
That rien named Hollywood is a legend.
My favorite thing about this video is the amount of assassins creed 2 songs used in it.
A game literally about a happy, charming guy, going crazy and bloodthirsty and has to find his sanity, and humanity again
can we appreciate the fact that flats was sat there looking at his phone making 0 commantery for a solid 10 minutes throughout this vid, truly transformative content.
Tbf your mom writes really long texts.
@@charlesdotwin you sure showed me Charles, I apologise for pointing out the fact that reaction content is awful and exploitative.
@@phantomhiphop flats at least did more and more interesting commentary than jay3's video, where jay only laughed a few times and made a few jokes. flats told some facts/explanations about OW at least
@@charlesdotwin 🤡
@@ievaday yeah im not gonna start an argument here I just don't agree with reaction vids in general.
21:25 oh god, that's like the old Widow grapple! The one that just hooked you onto anything on or around you besides where you were aiming
One must imagine Lifeweaver happy.
This is Maxwell's House, and we're just living in it.
This was so much of a cinematic masterpiece that I didn't realize it was almost an hour long. And there is a reason I'm a tank main
first video of him I saw, Bogur is my idol....I hope his mind snaps back in place, bless him
the plat in Overwatch currently, feels like the Bronze-Silver in Valorant.
sooo many people want to give up before even trying.
Admitting that you need a pocket to get kills is fucking insane
That tracer pulse bomb pull. Pure pain
Bogur’s monologues were incredible
Ik he did this before his adjustments. I'm a LW main when it comes to support Ik he gets hate but I love him so much the amount of control he exerts on the battle field with his BDSM kit is literally my favorite with his sharp thorns his pink leash and his flowers used correctly with actual team coordination you can have zero death games so frequently
It’s crazy he played as many games of ranked in one season as I have in all 10 seasons of overwatch
Thats the difference between a GM and a casual 😂 jk jk
This is a lesson in why i no longer watch twitch. Chat can ruin the experience for me. I was a mod for ohnickel back in the day and never again. Dealing with almost 1k people back when bots were not really used. I feel for streamers nowadays. People back then were fing brain dead. So i can only imagine how bad they are now. Sorry his chat being dumb brought back some memories lol
Credit where it's due, that was an extreme effort
its straight gigachad🗿
"Dafran, can you turn your monitor on please¿" 🤣🤣
i remember when i unlock lw, i played him every game for the next 4 hours i quickplay. the amount of times i've got called to switch is insane, i also lost 90% of my games, it was just horrible
Them being able to use it made it actively detrimental.
imagine playing too much overwatch that you just become radioactive
The "giving up on a fight you already won" is so true. People are SO quick to pass blame or to give up when they die more than once. Team wipes are fine, just group up and try again, try different tactics, switch if you need too or use fights to build ults and try to turn the fight with that.
I get it if someone is 0/5 and it's CLEAR that they really aren't adding anything to the fight, but you STILL don't need to be toxic.
I just wish people would actually join the VC in the lower ranks though, would make call-outs and communication WAY easier.
the gradual enlargement of the rank on the screen 😭 he put it in caps too
The fun part is that this video is just 10 minutes longer than the original which means that the amount of content added by your reaction is really low, but hey - at least both of you got the same amount of views! And you uploaded it just 4 days after he uploaded the video he worked 3 months on, which means that you didn't even let it sit on UA-cam for a week before you started siphoning his potential views :)
And kudos to you for at least linking to the original video and not hiding the creator like some other channels, but that's still low af
It's his friend
Good lord what were their balance team thinking when they released him that he was so bad to get to GM played by someone as good and dedicated as him he needed to be buffed. Also shows how bad the ranking system was that even had issues understanding ranking up and getting stuck in elo hell.
This is an amazing journey. I really feel for how much he put his mind through.
This was funny to watch. Like the part 'am I a victim of my own hubris...' 😂😂 I did feel his pain
That bottle vanishing is me, that's a light weekend as a support main.
The amount of monologues is astonishingly entertaining...
Life Weaver sounds more like Wife Leaver at this point
I'd like to believe Bogur got Lifeweaver buffed.
Soundtrack at 27:25 is DOOM 2016 OST - Authorization; Olivia Pierce
They say insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome. He has truly gone insane
Sad part is THIS video has more views then the ACTUAL video.
i love how a LOT of this video is just flats trying not to wheeze at bogur’s tilting
The actual definition of an emotional rollercoaster
this was such a rollercoaster so glad i watched it all congrats Bog!
but grills think this is boring tho
i JUST finished this video, bogur is a legend. i love him.
Bogur is just built like that 💪
Bro the assassins creed 2 music in the background hit a nostalgic spot in my brain
I swear I just have Lifeweaver pulling me at the worst moments ever 😂
Sisyphus would be proud of your struggle
I hard carry teams as LW. Assuming I don't DPS or anything leaving LOS; or someone picks Sombra. Play around pillars or glitch spots to juke snipes. The more they focus on concrete the less damage they doing on the enemy team too. The second I DPS, that's a 2 second switch to heal, which will kill someone, because with LW, if you stop spreading your seed, everyone dies now a days.
Yeah but remember this is when he came out and he was straight up just a toilet full of nasty ass shit
His spread got reduced
Instead of throwing 3 petals at the time like Echo's trishot he now did 2
Ammo increased
Tree healing increased
Charge healing increased from 55 to 75
Tree got more hp
Tree hot overhealth healing buff
You can hard carry with him now but when he came out? Oh he was booty
Magnificent. It really was. That production was dope too!
That red circle really do be obstructive 🥸
Bogur was so fed up he just starts to pocket Bob instead.
when he starts repeating maxwell like in nintendogs 😂
what did he do at 4:40 to get such an applause
I'm not certain, but I think that was bastion ult. The flower created a ceiling for the mortars to land on effectively.
This man's pain is universal.
You know it's even crazier I was just playing a regular unranked match and then a life Weaver just keeps keeping me to him as soon as I respawn
“One cannot achieve success without first enduring pain.”
"You dont need shotcalling to rank up"
>proceeds to shotcall to win final game
I don't think a lot of people realise how big of a deal it is if Dafran can't complete an unranked to gm on a hero, Dafran isn't just a streamer people, he isn't just a dude with great aim. He was an overwatch league player and one of the better ones as well, I feel like a lot of the new players don't know that.
This video gave me the inspiration to redownload palidens and start playing it again once more.
Edit it is no longer supported on the switch may my memories with that game rest in piece
I smurf your peak is CRAZY, literally he buried the guy lmfao
I don’t play ow but I enjoy watching your vids and reacts. Just thought I’d put that out there :)
10:14 I feel no matter your rank you should just play to the end without giving up even when it seems lost.
I found that playing aggressive life weaver is way better than sitting back trying to save teammates, dont necessarily try to frag out, but Weaver can take away favorable positions and supply support by fire when your teammates are reloading or getting outgunned
5:03 Ram, i chose you! Type moment
15:02 My favourite part. I love the editor
the leaving early thing is in other games as well. i loved battleborn when it was available and so often people would leave after losing the first control point on our side but then still go on to win 4v5 because the game isnt over until the game is over. same when i play magic the gathering. i always draw my last card to see my options before conceding. what i find most annoying in overwatch is that im pretty casual so that means stuck in the mental hell that is gold.
was it worth it? Yes. Absolutely. This series made it so this man did not have to find a job, his career was now overwatch. Would not have been able to financially support himself without it.
This spiral into madness is oddly inspiring
