I believe Ada’s fall is actually a pivotal moment in her evolution. Because by the time we see her in RE4 she’s become an international superspy with her hookshot working under Wesker. My theory is that her fall essentially forced her to evolve from an industrial spy into a full blown international superspy by leaning further into her survival instincts. Sort of like Catwoman’s origin, once Ada “fell” to her death, it marked a turning point in her life where she accepted her destiny as a superspy.
@HaveDont Absolutely, it’s a mystery at this point for sure, especially in Remake 2/4 since they don’t elaborate further on the time surrounding her survival. We can only assume she secretly concealed the hook-shot which would make sense considering she already had the EMF Visualizor, which she refers to as a secret gadget. My complaint is that Capcom didn’t use the material Death’s Door for her introduction in RE4R like they did with Operation Javier for Leon’s backstory. We also just have to assume that Wesker is who contacted her in the sewers in RE2R since that’s who she is working for and betrays him by RE4R.
@HaveDont Wesker defected to the Organization when he betrayed Umbrella Corp during the Mansion Incident, the HCF is their armed forces that he commanded under their employment. I’d assume he lost control over the unit after Ada betrays him in 2005. Which would make sense because he’s using the local population as his own militia by the time his plans are implemented in Kijuju. They were also in kahootz with the Connections and helped develop the E-series via the Megamycete, so the Connections and the Organization may have collaborated at some point.
@HaveDont As for Ada, her origin surrounding Raccoon City is quite convoluted. She did infiltrate Umbrella’s offices as RE1 Remake still has her name used as a password for John, confirming she still used John as a way to gain access into Umbrella which would support her mission later into the HIVE. While RE2R makes no mention of her employers, I think her FBI disguise may have been a clue and not just a throwaway disguise. As RE6 states that she left Derek Simmon’s employ sometime before Raccoon City and officially cut ties after he nukes the city. So my theory is that she was a federal agent working for Simmons in the late 90’s and most likely had prior knowledge of the bioweapons industry since Simmons was heavily involved with Umbrella and the Family. To which she was contacted by or sought out the Organization who was seeking to beseech Umbrella’s G virus, offering her first mission into industrial espionage as a federal agent, which is most likely why she was using an FBI cover at the time of the outbreak. It was already her identity as she was adopting a persona that was capable of manipulating and stealing the G virus as a newly turned industrial spy. This is why Ada has always internally struggled with her employers, because she was never loyal to them at all, she’s just a federal agent that went undercover into the bioweapons industry and brokered for terrorists in order to actually spy on them which allows her to intercept the weapons in play. This theory works because Ada gradually becomes more aggressive towards the bioweapons industry after each of her missions. G is the only virus that she’s sold, she withheld Los Plagas as it never appears on black markets, and she eradicates the last of the C-virus instead of taking a sample. She’s prevented outbreaks just as equally as Chris or Leon, except she has to perform her duties more methodically as a spy that still has to maintain her cover in the bioweapons industry.
@HaveDont Well I can’t say for sure about Ada because this is all speculation, she hasn’t gotten much backstory since the Remakes, they actually have seemed to left out more because she normally gives the player internal dialogue that alludes to her own goals, not the actual mission. RE4 for example, she’s working directly under Wesker but mentions multiple times that she’s playing him for the Organization. While in RE6, she’s not even on a mission, she’s freelance taking on the bioweapons industry through Simmons and Carla. In Damnation I believe she was trying to recapture Las Plagas in order to gatekeep it, she does sell it to Simmons but she’s already onto his scheme weeks later. This is why I say Ada is just a federal agent posing as a “bioweapons dealer” undercover, because she acts like she is willing to commit to villainy to manipulate her clients, but it’s just a facade or ploy in order for her to actually intercept or intervene when she can finally act overtly without completely blowing her cover. Even in RE8 where she was slated to appear, her concept had her identity completely concealed. This is because she was to help Ethan kill the 4 Lords which were associated with the Connections/BSAA, meaning her cover would have been blown under her normal guise. But because she would have been completely covered in the “Plague Doctor” disguise she would’ve been free to operate without Chris or the Connections ever knowing it was her that interfered. Which would’ve been the 3rd time she’s used a disguise/cover following the FBI disguise and the BSAA cover. Which again this fits the modus operandi of an undercover spy, not a bioweapons broker who would just use their own identity initially.
To answer the question about Zoe’s whereabouts, in resident evil 8, there is a file in the bonus section that I believe is called the Baker Incident Report (or something along the lines of that) where it shows how Zoe has been forced to take on a new identity and is being watched by Chris and his gang (I still don’t know about Joe though) I recommend reading it because it’s been a while since I did and I might be remembering stuff wrong
In the OG RE2 files, William selects people who are compatible with his DNA based on how the G Virus reacts with the based host. William knows he is compatible with Sherry since she’s his daughter. The other people suffer a painful death from being rejected
There’s a random explosion when you’re working your way to Heisenberg’s factory that never gets explained, as far as I’m aware. I think you’re supposed to think it’s Chris, but it’s never expanded upon.
Umbrella's Chronicles: "Who was the evacuated Umbrella officer in Ada's mission? The one who was in the chopper with the Sergei. The game intentionally didn't show his face". I guess this plotline was dropped a long time ago and we'll never know.
Village includes a file in the extras called the Baker Incident Report - which was written by Zoe Baker. It clarifies some background info surrounding the events and seems to suggest she’s become an investigative reporter. As for The Connections - its founder Brandon Bailey is mentioned in this report and connects back to Director Bailey’s journals from RE5. He was James Marcus’ protege and fell into a depression after he heard he was killed…to the point where he became numb to everything. Following his attempted assassination on Spencer’s orders he faked his death and went underground forming the Connections…which may be the ones who hired Nicholai to reduce “Umbrella to rubble” in the RE3 remake.
Luis was infected with the parasite at some point but before Leon arrived in the village, he found out Saddler's intentions. He then made that machine that destroys them and used it on himself.
My top ones that aren't on this list: 1. What was Carla's "perfected B.O.W" that Ada killed? 2. Where the hell is Dr. Cameron from that horrifying 4D special? 3. What will happen to Alextalia now? Did she corrupt the BSAA? 4. Who are Ada's real employers? 🥲🥲🥲
William does know who to "seed." In lore, he looks for people with compatible genetics. The Chief and Journo were semi-compatible. Enought to incubate, but not mutate. Same thing happened to the corpse Annette burned. She probably killed the guy herself before she lit it on fire.
There is no canon scenario, regardless what version you play, just like there is no canon scenario for RE1/3, or any other RE games, cause the games are designed to be fun not to tell a story without plot holes.
@@RogueDragon05 Claire A Leon B was the Canon. It's the only trilogy game with a Canon ending (but Leon A Claire B is the Remake canon) But no Resident Evil media of RE1 has the canon ending in it. Not the OG, not the Remake, not the book, not Umbrella Cronicles, not even the Game Boy Color version. The true ending of RE1 has never been shown in media. We just know the 4 (Chris, Jill, Rebecca, Barry) survived. Also, why does Wesker hate Chris? In the OG and remake, Chris does nothing. Jill is more of a nuisance to Wekser than Chris ever was.
@@Emogeta Even in RE2 there is no version that has all the plot elements and no plot holes, people just settled on the one that they liked best and had the least inconsistences. It's funny because if you read the Wildstorm comics they even lampshade the whole issue in one of the stories where Chris and the surviving STARS members are debriefing and Chris just "retcon's" entire sections of the story like insisting that he found Jill locked up which pisses Jill off when Rebecca sides with him insisting that it was her that was locked up by Wesker and not her finding Chris like that. Capcom intentionally leaves the details vague cause it's not really that important, the games are fun to play the basic plotline is mostly consistent thats all that really matters.
I really wish the Remake had given us Claire A / Leon B. Was glad when Darkside chronicles canonised that version of the story, because I always thought it was much better. Yes, the Remake did at least try to combine both scenarios into it's copying of Leon A / Claire B, but as this video has pointed out, it makes much more sense for Ada to survive the Mr X encounter than the long fall.
1. Brad (chicken heart) vickers was scared so he took off 2. The 2 deaths didn’t happen on screen so yes they didn’t happen. 3. The chief wasn’t mutating he was burned with acid. 4. Annette was redeemed. She did all the things right in the end. All she hurt was stopping her from killing off the virus or stopping people from getting it to sell it 5. Ada surviving was because of her grapple gun. 6. The city? It was blown up and said it was because of a radiation leak 7. Leon’s jacket was taken because it was nice and they wanted it. 8. Luis could not be mind controlled because he killed the parasite inside of himself. 9. The merchant is not one person because you can kill one and he will continue to show up. There is a group of them working together..
Yeah brad being a helicopter pilot he had to get out of there and circle the area thats sop if your in a hot zone. He was dropping the team off for the mission then spent the whole time ping the radio to try a organise pick up .
I would love to see a Resident Evil game going back to Raccoon City. Radiation could play a factor as an environmental hazard and you’ll need a gas mask like in 7 in order to get past those area’s.
4:47 it’s implied Albert saved her. Because he saw potential in her. 5:16 probably not. He probably stumbled on to something that incriminated Nikolai. 6:38 that enemy, probably got it from the merchant. What annoys, not being able to get it back . How hard would it have been to add a side quest. Where you retrieve your coat? From Ada. 7:41 well based on the fact. He’s known in village. Looks like he was probably. In a group of traveling merchants. That doesn’t reveal much. But it’s more than, what we had. 8:15 that’s usually how police are. In reality to. You have to leave them with no choice but to work. 9:08 she picked him up from where he was. Once has molded body regenerate it. The real pothole village opens up. Is, did Zoe already know Ethan was dead. And if so, why not tell him.
My biggest loose end was, when i read the files about how spencer and miranda were actually in contact in resident evil 8, miranda is from eastern europe, so is weskers son jake? So im just wondering whats up with the history there. What was wesker doing there, whose the mother etc, surprised nobody questioned this.
Sorry but the reason why Brian Irons dies is explained in the game by Annette Birkin itself and also in the note found inside the G-Virus room: the G-Monster in order to reproduce himself is in need to "implant" the virus in the body of a relative and if it implany the virus inside a non-relative only two things can happen: or the guest dies or the guest become a G-conglomerate like the ones in the sewers. Clearly to Irons it is happened the first thing: dead.

The true ending of RE1 has never been shown in media. We just know the 4 (Chris, Jill, Rebecca, Barry) survived. Also, why does Wesker hate Chris? In the OG and remake, Chris does nothing in his playthrough. Jill is more of a nuisance to Wekser than Chris ever was.
7:12 Luis cured himself of the Las Plagas infection early on thus rendering Saddler's attempts to control him futile. The scene where Leon says "better try a new trick 'cause that one's getting old!" is pretty much how I imagined it playing out with Luis too except he fled instead of fighting Saddler.
Actually in resident evil 4 Luis gets rid of the parasite before it hatched. Thats how he kept control. I believe it was in one of the memos Ada also gets infected by gets rid of the parasite same way
I don't remember that well but I think it was confirmed in a comic book and also in novelizations that Brad chickened out and ran away. Something also tells me it earned him a nickname - Chickenheart, but that's probably a brain fart on my side.
I think Zoe became a journalist. The Baker Incident thing found in RE Village kind of answers that since her and Mia tried to stay in touch. Mia even sent Zoe a picture of Rose.
In RE4 remake we know Luis was infected but removed his plaga and turned on Saddler. When he’s found by Leon and Mendez knocks him out and infects him, I genuinely believe that plaga was meant to reinfect Luis but for whatever reason he used it on Leon instead. Los Illuminados infecting Luis would give them an easier time at finding out the whereabouts of the amber he stole as well as gain back one of their top scientists.
10:00 It's so refreshing to see someone that actually understands that scene. The amount of arguments I had with people that can't simply comprehend the significance behind the Agent stopping the vehicle. Ethan 100% is in the real world. Rose and an inanimate object (Ethan's ring) were able to be transferred back to the real world so what's to say Ethan didn't find a way for himself? Especially considering there's a clear time gap between the DLC and the final cutscene.
@@jeremyhall2727 Yeah for sure. It's likely that killing Miranda opened many windows of opportunity. So it's completely fair to say that because of her death he was able to find a way to come back to the real world.
@@NicerNine Miranda was definitely able to keep him there, and he was too weak to leave, and needed to rest. Rose showing up gave him the motivation he needed. I think why he's in the real world is not just the ring but Rose herself, after all she is just as connected to the mold/megamycete as he is.
@@softmochi2825 I 100% agree. But you misunderstood what I'm saying. I wasn't saying that the ring was some motivation or gateway for Ethan, I was simply saying that if the ring can be transferred to the real world, it's likely Ethan can be transferred to the real world too.
Wait when did Chief Irons ever "mutate"? The G embryo gets expelled Xenomorph-style from an incompatible host like Irons, or the reporter in the cell and become G Adults on their own. It has no effect on the host's body beyond death.
They always make these supposed to be important end credit scenes that has no resolution, specially in spin-off games. revelations 2, village rose's story and i can tell separate ways story with ada won't have a resolution. although we already have RE5
A reason why Saddler would keep Luis around, he was part of the Nemesis Project! His intellect was FAR too important to just control, like the other villagers! I know probably he was part of Umbrella Europe, if NOT, how in the F did HE survive Raccoon City! I haven't been able to play RE4 Remake yet, but just theorizing here, lol!
In RE7, how did Eveline control technology like with Mia’s watch? She has no real supernatural ability and it’s not like Mia was hallucinating as she wasn’t infected yet.
I'm pretty sure there's a file in the original resi 2 or in the resident evil archives book that clearly states, G virus victims can impregnate other life forms but if the DNA doesnt match, their bodies rejects the mutation and they die like that, "alien style". Ahah That's why William is after Sherry since she his daughter. Also on the same resi archive book, the canon story for resi 2 is Claire A and Leon B. So that's how ada survived... With powerful tape hahaha. Also the canon ending of resi 3 is the one with Barry. But with the remakes, i don't know haha
I want to know how STARS Bravo Team got to their death locations in the mansion, if the doors & routes to access these places were locked. Richard was behind a door that required the Armor Key, and got bit by Yawn who was behind the Shield Key door. How did he bypass *TWO* locked doors and then have the doors lock behind him. He could've at least given Jill/Chris the Shield Key before they go to fight Yawn, so they don't have to search for it. Maybe he came in through the hole in the roof (same hole Yawn slithers through to exit the attic). Maybe the Shield Door was one-way and didn't require a key to *leave* the attic, and the door automatically locked behind him. Idk why he'd come in through the roof, but it the Shield door is one-way and he entered through the hole, it would explain how he ended up on the other side of the Armor door. Enrico was in the caves. He would've needed to bypass the waterfall (walk through it I guess???) and then find the hex crank to rotate the passageways to get to the corridor where he was murdered. Did he just brute force the crank sockets? How did the rotating hallway segments move to be unaligned? How did he move through without disturbing the Indiana Jones boulders that Chris isn't roided enough to punch yet? Why was Rebecca so afraid of BOWs if she just spent a whole night fighting them in RE:0? How are Chris and Jill simultaneously right next to each other the whole time (like Chris and Sheva in RE5) while one of them is locked in the jail cell? The 4 surviving Bravo members ran towards the mansion together, why is Chris suddenly missing when Jill, Wesker, and Barry walk through the main entrance to the mansion? How did Wesker imprison whichever character you didn't choose? Where is Wesker most of the time? Why didn't Rebecca and Barry run into each other? 8 endings and none are canon?
I thought wesker was in the control room opening & locking doors as he please 🤔 Re-C for the Wii shown him doing it as he was watching on the monitors. It was one of those games
After Bravo team was split up, three members arrived at Spencer mansion: Richard, Kenneth, & Forest. Forest was the first die during the first night at the mansion. Chris/Jill verified after discovering his body, he’s been dead for quite some time. Richard was severely injured before Alpha team’s arrival during the second night of survival. Kenneth survived the first night, died during the second night.
Murphy was infected. It's stated explicitly in the game guide in the RE3 walkthrough in the original and in one of the scenes where Carlos has to put him down. His wounds were from T Virus carriers and he was infected in both the scenario where Nicholai shoots him and where he begs Carlos to kill him.
@@singleplayernacho the Remake left out a lot of stuff, most likely because of time constraints and shorts on its development. The scene in the Remake is just to show Nicholai as obviously evil rather than just cold and calculating. Murphy's wounds have no explanation in the Remake. The original RE3 is what I always use for reference because the Remake cut about 80% of the content just to rush the game out so it wouldn't conflict with Village but still capitalize on the reception from RE2 Remake.
However, on Murphy's in game model(which can be viewed once unlocked in the gallery) the wound does appear larger than a bullet hole and is closer to the size of a bite.
Were the events of Resident Evil Dead Aim ever mentioned in any of the other Games because i can't recall. Because if not then that's a Lose end what bloody happened with that.
No Dead Aim is never mentioned in anything else, Survivor is referenced in the opening of RE0 though. Dead Aim is still canon though, no reason for it not being so. I love the game personally.
In the original RE3 there's an alternate possibility if you go a certain route where Carlos finds Murphy instead and he repeteadly mentions that he's infected and that Carlos should shoot him, in fact until very late in devekopment there was supposed to be a line said by murphy about how he got infected by drinking the water but it was cut Annnete in RE2 og cared about her daughter, working with Claire when she hears her daughter scream Re8 baker incident report expands a little bit of zoe's whereabouts and explains that bsaa covered up the baker house incident with louisiana police, a loose end is why the cop was at the house, didnt he get the memo? In fact it's implied that he's been there several times (Lucas - goddamn it, i bet it's that cop again), also how would he not notice Lucas lacks an arm when talking to him (most likely through the window) Another loose end is how did zoe learn of ethan's state as molded? Infact, why would she reattach his arm otherwise, since that wouldnt work otherwise. Also is Clancy really dead since one of the 21 loading screens (I dunno which one) says that Lucas sadistically tortures Clancy and Hoffman but that they somewhat heal wounds because of the mold, also the incosistency of tape recording dates There is a theory that billy coen gets captured by umbrella and used to make nemesis because both have the pronouncation of "s.t.a.r.s."
I want to know how Ethan was infected etc. Yet wasn't under the control of Evelyn. He shouldn't have been able to do any of what he did if he was mold. Even more so when it come to the control mother Miranda was also supposed to have. The whole thing is contradictory to the story. Unless they wanted him to kill them he shouldn't have been able to and should be stuck in the swamp right now.
Resi 7 Why the deputy didn't call back up, when he saw a clearly distressed man? Why did Jack cut off Lucas' arm? How did Ethan know to trust Zoe? Why didn't Ethan react like a human being, when he's found his wife, when he thought he killed her or when she cut off his hand?

I'm with you in regards to Annette, Nacho. She's irredeemable, and her character is better off this way. Trying to redeem her in Re2R just reeks of Capcom making changes to her character in order to keep from upsetting modern sensibilities, which is a poor excuse for betraying the source material.
Or they just told the story they wanted to? I’m sure even you could think of more changes they could’ve made so as not to upset “modern sensibilities”.
I don’t hate Annette. All her actions were so Sherry didn’t have to live in a world with the G Virus in it. I don’t care if she helped create it. I look to what someone can do going forward without always condemning them for all eternity.

Pretty sure nacho doesn't really play the games that or he just doesn't read any files while playing
Luis was infected with the parasite at some point but before Leon arrived in the village, he found out Saddler's intentions. He then made that machine that destroys them and used it on himself.
I always thought he was infected with the T virus like Alice how it bonded with her
@@sugewhite6692 He was never infected with the T-virus at any point.
My top ones that aren't on this list:
I guess everyone forgets about Billy, what happened to him?
Probably in some random country with a wife and kids or he died in the woods I hope it’s the first option
Ada survived because the cannon scenario is Claire A Leon B , and Ada was thrown into machinery rather than fall (the remakes are not cannon )
There is no canon scenario, regardless what version you play, just like there is no canon scenario for RE1/3, or any other RE games, cause the games are designed to be fun not to tell a story without plot holes.
@@RogueDragon05 Claire A Leon B was the Canon. It's the only trilogy game with a Canon ending (but Leon A Claire B is the Remake canon)
But no Resident Evil media of RE1 has the canon ending in it.
I can't remember where I read this as a kid, maybe in one of the booklets I could have swore it said that Brad's nickname was "chicken heart".
That is his nickname 🤣 no joke
It was in magazines and the booklet.
It's in several sources but it's first apperance is in the literal game manual from the 96 release
1. Brad (chicken heart) vickers was scared so he took off
2. The 2 deaths didn’t happen on screen so yes they didn’t happen.
3. The chief wasn’t mutating he was burned with acid.
4. Annette was redeemed. She did all the things right in the end. All she hurt was stopping her from killing off the virus or stopping people from getting it to sell it
5. Ada surviving was because of her grapple gun.
6. The city? It was blown up and said it was because of a radiation leak
7. Leon’s jacket was taken because it was nice and they wanted it.
8. Luis could not be mind controlled because he killed the parasite inside of himself.
9. The merchant is not one person because you can kill one and he will continue to show up. There is a group of them working together..
Ty!!!
Only in Normal mode. On Professional Mode, if you let him die, he never reappears.
Even a mutated spider would of stolen Leon's badass jacket
Would also say Mia Winter’s past and her motivations for joining the Connections.
Time line hasn’t reset 5, and 6 still happen
One thing about Ethans death from Jack. The surprise for us seeing that he was infected and dead it wasn't ever a surprise in anyway
Back when the first RE came out, it was established that Brad was a cowardly dude, henceforth his nickname "Chickenheart."
Reminder that no Resident Evil media of RE1 has the canon ending in it.
In the OG and remake, Chris does nothing in his playthrough. Jill is more of a nuisance to Wekser than Chris ever was.
7:12 Luis cured himself of the Las Plagas infection early on thus rendering Saddler's attempts to control him futile. The scene where Leon says "better try a new trick 'cause that one's getting old!" is pretty much how I imagined it playing out with Luis too except he fled instead of fighting Saddler.
He had that on fr Leon gotta find another jacket lol
Actually in resident evil 4 Luis gets rid of the parasite before it hatched. Thats how he kept control. I believe it was in one of the memos Ada also gets infected by gets rid of the parasite same way
I don't remember that well but I think it was confirmed in a comic book and also in novelizations that Brad chickened out and ran away. Something also tells me it earned him a nickname - Chickenheart, but that's probably a brain fart on my side.
😅 in both
He raided the RPD armory to get a Rocket launcher and returned and was flying round for quite a while. About an hour after he left
Maybe Ethan just wasn't strong enough.. he didn't have enough power. Who knows, or he just wanted to rest. He did his part in both games
That figure of Ethan in the end was confirmed to be just a placeholder.
They always make these supposed to be important end credit scenes that has no resolution, specially in spin-off games. revelations 2, village rose's story and i can tell separate ways story with ada won't have a resolution. although we already have RE5
Biggest one WHY COME ALL OUR MAIN CHARACTERS NEVER TURN INTO ZOMBIES ALTHOUGH THEY HAVE ALL BEEN BITTEN HUNDREDS OF FUCKING TIMES??
A reason why Saddler would keep Luis around, he was part of the Nemesis Project! His intellect was FAR too important to just control, like the other villagers! I know probably he was part of Umbrella Europe, if NOT, how in the F did HE survive Raccoon City! I haven't been able to play RE4 Remake yet, but just theorizing here, lol!
In RE7, how did Eveline control technology like with Mia’s watch? She has no real supernatural ability and it’s not like Mia was hallucinating as she wasn’t infected yet.
Revelations 1 has the biggest cliffhanger
Lmao.
Whoops. Was this retconned? Couldn’t find anything on him being infected in the remake
In the original RE3 there's an alternate possibility if you go a certain route where Carlos finds Murphy instead and he repeteadly mentions that he's infected and that Carlos should shoot him, in fact until very late in devekopment there was supposed to be a line said by murphy about how he got infected by drinking the water but it was cut
Annnete in RE2 og cared about her daughter, working with Claire when she hears her daughter scream
Re8 baker incident report expands a little bit of zoe's whereabouts and explains that bsaa covered up the baker house incident with louisiana police, a loose end is why the cop was at the house, didnt he get the memo? In fact it's implied that he's been there several times (Lucas - goddamn it, i bet it's that cop again), also how would he not notice Lucas lacks an arm when talking to him (most likely through the window)
Another loose end is how did zoe learn of ethan's state as molded? Infact, why would she reattach his arm otherwise, since that wouldnt work otherwise.
Also is Clancy really dead since one of the 21 loading screens (I dunno which one) says that Lucas sadistically tortures Clancy and Hoffman but that they somewhat heal wounds because of the mold, also the incosistency of tape recording dates
There is a theory that billy coen gets captured by umbrella and used to make nemesis because both have the pronouncation of "s.t.a.r.s."
Does anyone adopt the dog from re4? Does it become the new big cheese of the town?

What if Brad was being manipulated by Wesker like Barry was ? Leaving the team behind would be part of that plan.
Brad was a coward you can see it in the original resident evil 3 opening . remake of 3 made him more brave cause he was ashame of what he did
@@johnlawful2272 His nickname Chickenheart goes all the back even further then 3 to the 96 game manual, I don't know why there is some kinda push to "redeem" Brad but he's just a coward. Capcom can retcon whatever they like in the future of course but that won't change what the original version is. There has never been anything to suggest that Wesker manipulated Brad beyond obviously putting someone that couldn't be trusted in the position he was in. He was just a good excuse for the game makers to strand our characters.

Who’s going to continue the Redfield bloodline?
Actually, we know what happens with Zoey in a secret file on RE8
Apparently Wesker's entire plan in RE1 all hinged on Brad abandoning everyone. That never made sense to me.
In the RE2 Remake, Ben was killed by Mr.X Not Birkin.
And i think that it doesn't matter to Capcom how Ben/ Irons died because of their more or less insignificant role in the Story....
Mystery: Hosbé or Joobuh?
Ada sold that jacket in remake
So I’ll just show my age but in the old gaming magazines it introduces all RE1 characters on PS1. Brads nickname is revealed as Chickenheart in them so he’s just a sissy and flew away scared.

Even w/ 5, idc he got double rockets to the face in a volcano and is obviously dead, WRITE WESKER BACK IN! Even the Netflix show had the sense to write in Wesker clones, so DO IT, CAPCOM!!!
No Wesker needs to stay dead, Jake's fine Alex would be great but no not Albert. And the series incarnation of Wesker is not a selling point.
Do you know what’s a little bit disappointing though RE9 is rumored not to take place after either the main game or the Rose DLC which is very frustrating another loose end left open with possibly no answers to come

I'm with you in regards to Annette, Nacho. She's irredeemable, and her character is better off this way. Trying to redeem her in Re2R just reeks of Capcom making changes to her character in order to keep from upsetting modern sensibilities, which is a poor excuse for betraying the source material.

My question is why is RE4 so loved? That castle ruined the game. In the remake it is a little bit less terrible
The castle is fine but I agree that RE4 is overrated. Not saying it's bad it's a great game but the better then every other game ever pedestal it constantly gets tossed upon is unwarranted.
