so happy that they are doing more diesel episodes , been waiting for some time and quite pleased , Be cool if they worked on a 6.5 Detroit diesel engine in the future .
They did a good job hiding the one wheel peel..... cept when they showed the evidence on the pavement LOL
Drove all that way for “inspiration”. What inspiration? Witnessing a one wheel peel ?
“I blackened out my taillights so they work less” RCR

Y’all PLEASE STOP ANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS. PowerNation is giving us new, quality episodes. They’re trying to freshen up the format, putting a little something different into episodes. To some, it works, to some, it doesn’t. Some of us don’t like certain hosts’ personalities, some of us are drawn to them even more, now.
No matter what, let’s just enjoy. If you don’t like the FREE, PRODUCTION QUALITY ENTERTAINMENT, click your down arrow and choose something more to your liking. As for me and many thousands of others, I will enjoy this and thank you POWERNATION. Thank you.
Lassi Kinnunen Because this is not the forum to air grievances. A simple email to the PowerNation folks can tell them what you think privately. And that email, because of its being done separately, will have more importance to the one reading it.
The cameraman is awesome with his jokes. Keep him around.
You guys do some pretty awesome videos! Keep up the good work. Especially right now, we need all the entertainment we can get in our time of isolation 👍👍👍
It sounds like the short guy is trying to speak with some kind of accent or twang and its just off
I know right I wonder what accent he's attempting
Austin has this weird Boston creole accent and it makes my ears hurt
@@TheSmitty-js2rj boston creole 😂😂😂
He's from Louisiana...they all sound off...🏃
Attempt at sounding cool.
Sunglasses guy takes the fun out of this episode.
I have to admit, before y'all popped the hood on that Ranger, I was obviously expecting a 4bt...but I've NEVER seen a 6bt in a Ranger. That is a SICK build!
This is awesome. I love watching builds and teardowns of motors.
Yeah but Gale Banks is more interesting to watch when hopping up a diesel. See his Killing a Duramax series. No bad hillbilly accent or scripted drama. Just engineering insite.
Lmao...almost caught a cuff for calling it "easy"
Thanx again for these. Never stop.
She gone. Someone’s been watching gas station encounters. 👍🏼
You guys should rebuild the Ford diesel from your co-hosts truck.
I like the Duramax.... but that giant mess he's taking apart is why I stick with Cummins lol
I agree inlines are a tat easier to get your hands into
Austin’s truck is bigger than his shoebox house
Rip the 6.4L out and drop in a 5.9 12v. Simple and reliable
starts at 8:20
I would love to see you guys drop a 12 valve Cummins in a early 1950’s Chevy or Willys truck.
Son nailed it🔨,nice an easy 🦥
Y’all need to do a rebuild on his powerstroke. I’d love to watch it. I rebuilt the 6.4 and I wanna see the route y’all take
Love power nation....I got a 77 gmc k20 fl truck 1 owner before me I'm refurbishing mostly wanted to go duramax but I already had a gm zz6 350 efi with tko 5spd
That Duramax reminds me why I prefer I-6 diesels.
Wow gee wiz fella's I never seen a Hot rod Cummins before.. OH BOY...
This should be retitled: Tearing down an LML for THE ultimate emissions compliant let-down.
Question...so you thought pulling motor without pulling the cab was better? I have a 2011 that's going to oi need a engine pull and lots of people say the cab off is better...your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Is it just me or does Jeremy and Austin have a very similar voice.
3:23 My Favourite.
First in, last out??? How about last in, first out....
Blacked out tails are stupid, as is any mod that reduces the light output, and might not be legal in your state.
.....he would be the kind if person to like blacked out tail lights.
I have a 2014 Ram 3500HD 4wd with a 6.7 Cummins and I'd LOVE to throw some more fuel and boost at it. I also have a 2011 and a 2017 Ford F-550 both with the 6.7, a 2014 F-750 with a 6.7 Cummins and an Allison, and a 2014 Peterbilt 367 with a Cummins 550HP/2050 lb.ft. ISL with an Eaton 18 speed. I work in the oilfield and deliver wellhead components.
i once drove a 03 dually with over 350,xxx miles on it and man did that thing go! thats when i realized if i ever buy a diesel it was gana be a cummins !
Damn good 👍
I've been taking these engines apart along with the Cummins never thought about taking pictures.. always reassembled by memory..
But when you stare at it all day long it will be burned in your memory where everything goes..
Those tail lights are not legal in most states now
So is removing all the EGR system...its strangely all missing when they first show the engine on the stand
They have the raised lettering because it’s easier to identify the product without having to look through an entire database at dealership/repair facilities
I use to do burnouts when I was younger, then I grew up.
That's the dumbest thing I've ever read. "I used to have fun but now I'm too old for fun"
@@FreddyFunderbunz burnouts aren't even fun, they destroy your tires which cost money, it is extremely taxing on your entire drivetrain and brake system, and the smell is awful along with melted rubber on your fenders.
Burnouts are for those people that take everything their friends said when they were younger as law and never grew up to realize how dumb those things are.
@@A_Man_Of_Culture_ "A Man of Culture"
They say those taillights are legal but don't realize that if the DOT stamp is removed they are not legal anymore. If they get pulled over and the cop looks for something to get them on that stamp can be it.
That's a big if. Most of the time if you have an officer stopping you it's for something like speeding or being a jackass. No one cares about tail lights. Window tint maybe.
@@bmstylee I've had cops lie and say they stopped me because my exhaust but they would poke around to try and find anything to get me on. Small towns do that all the time.
@@allenmckinney9533 so a cop justifying his existing then. I guess big cities have more pressing issues. And exhaust can be annoying if it's unreasonably loud. Especially in an urban area. This would kinda fit my jackass scenario.
@@bmstylee the cops will stop you for a tail light then take you to jail for those outstand warrants you forgot about, Live PD is so funny
@@dennisgermain189 so don't have dumb tail lights while driving with warrants. Makes sense. Good. Got it. Moving on.
A broken connnector does not equate to a hard time replacement. A little research and a few tool and you can have it fixed for about $10.00.
20:21 98 hundred thousand miles??? Haha
Yeah bad accents don't help. Guessing 90-100 thousand miles. Some people can't speak understandable English.
@@bmstylee IKR! I turned on subs and it said 490 hundred thousand miles, and I know subs are atrocious but good laugh.
@@CST-ft9dv jahaja
If you paint your tail lights, Please get som more powerfull bulps or LEDs. Dont want to run over you with my semi.
I think they'd like to get hit by your wonderful semi.
Finally new episodes
Austin should do a cummins swap
@8:15 big olle one tire fire burnout hahaha
11:13 that's the driver side
Is it necessary to check EGR?
4:58 yeah, when you hear the starter then the fire up, you know its a cummins in a dodge ram.
4:28 that is one small bolt holding the weight of that engine.
Those taillights..
The box said 10 horsepower
Go figure, a diesel episode and half of it is one tire burnouts, and the other half is tinting tail lights.
I just did an engine compartment wiring harness yesterday. Was very irritated when i figured out i had to pull interior fuse box for one 10mm bolt for a ground. How dumb!
Blacked out tails look ghetto and they must reflect red not just emit red so they are not street legal.
My LML has been apart for over a year and a half not looking forward to the wiring harness and fuel lines. Pictures would of been nice.
Better replace that CP4 with a CP3 pump while you’re in there
That thing definitely won't last supplying fuel for 1000 HP.
Blacked out taillight lenses are just plain stupid and in a lot of places illegal, and for good reason.
Ford decided to build their own diesel "6.7" after all the problems with the 6.0, 6.4 engines made by international
Me: Not sure if I'm a fan of Austin
Austin: "Color match or black it out, that's what I'm all about"
Me: GO TEAM AUSTIN
Damn, I beat the hell out of my 6.4 and it'd dead. As he is beating his step dads truck he says step dad told him not to beat on it. Cool
Get your hand off another mans hood
I love this show
9800 thousand miles?
Calling it know, they are gonna end up with a 2 piece crank
I had one of them, saved the front chunk for a souvenir
Just buy a can of nite shades it comes out better and faster
Better be studding this truck if you’re gonna throw that much power at it
Gale Banks is at 850 on the new Duramax with stock internals. No studs yet.
@@bmstylee yeah on an l5p
Not this style
Does anyone know where I can submit for my extra covid_19 check for having to watch this? Could this possibly be anymore painful?
20:19 how many miles? 98 hundred thousand? Was that even English?
What's that... like almost a million?
TommyLYeah - Darkwraith Kaid wouldn’t that be nine hundred and eighty thousand not ninety eight hundred thousand.
@@JLC87420 - Yeah, I think you're right.
Everything on a duramax looks like an after thought. What a mess.
anyone else skip the taillight part?
Sorry but Austin ain't as cool as he thinks.
You think he's more cool than he does... that's just how he is... what's your excuse???
The tail lights on my GMC aren’t even half the size of those

9800,000 miles?
31nash31 I Believe he meant 98 or 100,000 miles.
@@gregorycarter9352 i believe your mom's got 98 or 100,000 miles
I take pictures of EVERYTHING. That way it's all documented and I have plenty to reference to.
Who are these guys
Do a lmm
16 miles per gallon. 6 ish km per L.
Thats bad. Alot of modern diesel cars do 0.35-0.6L per 10km.
Those tail lights could be illegal...
15:30 boat anchor
He didn't label no wires with tape? Good luck on that, Oye scifu isn't it illegal to black out your tail lights?
11:34 why would GM do that? "No sense"
Durmax>Cummins>Powerstroke
More LT and less Bro Country dude, please.
Can I have less of both?
@@bmstylee LT is ok for me but Bro Country has to go. If they're gonna paint taillights and make them illegal most places, they might as well delete the emissions on that engine while they're ar it.
For as small as that guy is, he manages to be a giant douchebag.
I thought the one guy left the show?
Its funny ya call it a gm lovechild, durimax engines are built by isuzu, so to correct your statement,,,its a gm/isuzu lovechild!
Now I see why guys like the 12 and 24 valve cummins ESHH.. WHAT A MESS overly complicated piles of junk!! IMO you should cummins swap it!!
yall would love my 03 cumins
is this dude serious with his accent? Its like a Boston combined with some type of Southern?
Haha his mix is way off, you’re looking to tint not black out, way too much black paint in that clear, the less black the more you can play with it
He looks like an alternate version of Donald Trump Jr. if he ever got smart and drove trucks. Can’t unsee it.
Stop, just stop talking.
My guess is, the new guy is from New Orleans.
Y'all better leave the diesel performance to the professionals . Black smoke is for dummies.
Dark haired dude is trying too hard to sound hip and cool.
Dats just da way we talk...
sounds like a rod knocking, slow as hell ya it's a ford.
“First in, last out” ???
First part installed is last part removed.
The proper term is supposed to be LIFO, last in, first out
You say painting the lights are legal but you are wrong it is not legal in all 50 states all lighting on public roads are federal laws and altering the DOT approved lighting device makes it illegal you should correct your statement you are wrong and when someone drives over you on a bright sunny day you will find out or worse someone takes your advice and you get a call from a law firm.
Better truck in the world: fummins
Clipping an electrical line and a fuel line in the same clip???
There's a recipe for potential disaster
Can you guys stop with the scripted “explanation” of what you guys have worked on with each other and just tell us. God for that 30 seconds he was explaining to the camera guy what was going on it was refreshing not cringing
Greta is coming after you guys hard....what happened to your EGR valves and coolers??? Isn't there always been a disclaimer at the end of every episode along the lines of "illegal to tamper or remove an emission control device" People are getting in deep trouble these days over that stuff of diesel trucks.....
