Howard and Dale go through each one of Howard's car builds, the do's the don'ts and all the things Howard learnt through each process.
Ford 460ci with GM6/71 blower
Crow Cam
Forged Flat-top Pistons
Custom two inch exhaust
PowerGlide Transmission with Ford nine-inch diff
Custom Coil-over springs and Wilwood front and rear brakes
Front Tyres Kelly 205/50x16 Dragway Superlites 16x7
Rear Tyres M/T 21.5x33x15 Dragway Superlites 15x15
Chassis built from 100x50mm steel tube with stainless double wishbone front suspension by Mark sanders of Road performance Modifications, while at the rear a fully adjustable stainless four-link with arms by Rod City, Brackets by Howard.
Graphics were designed by Rohan Day and applied by Howard and Owen Webb

I went to BASS Audio in Ballarat back in the 90’s got a pioneer stereo fitted & got to view that Pioneer Beast FORD Show Car for the first time in real life, what a cool iconic car that was!

I remember seeing this car when I was young and getting into cars, was a Holden boy but loved this in Pioneer form. Seeing this brought back some memories and it was great to hear the story behind it, thank

I actually bought my hz holden back after 15yrs and had my pioneer bullet splits n tweeters as well my 6x9 horn speakers still use them in my daily to date..

Wow, i remember seeing this grace the cover of a magazine(street machine? Not to sure as nz only had sm, zoom, hot4s &fast4s etc) Back when i was a kid(29 next month) and absolutely loved the rock solid phase's, that pioneer phase👌 my fave ford coupe of all time, thank you for the nostalgia🙌❤️💯

Can remember coming out to Broken Hill with Mark Heysmand to help with the tune on the fuel injection. A cool couple of days and some great hospitality from Howard.

Great Episode Howard and Dale! I still have one 10 inch IMPP sub here still in the box I bought new 20 odd years ago!! The Die Hard car was used in a Fat Pizza episode (Series 3 Episode 3 Road Trip Pizza) back in 2003 if you didn't know! Look forward to the next one mate!!!

Out of all your builds this is my favorite, I spent 1000"s of hours block hi-fill, it was the best high build filler out, a lot of people hated it because of how hard it was to hand block

I honestly can’t remember, not much though. I told Bob to Detune it so it would cruise the Nats. Was about 600 flywheel.
