I’m so glad I found this album in my teens. I felt such a connection to his music when nobody else I knew got it. I silently sang his lyrics into my hairbrush with the same passion in me as he delivered em. My god how at nearly 50yrs old now I see him as a foreseeing prophet, a lyrical genius who’s being was so meant to be. Thank you
I have been a fan for nigh n 40 years now and never get tired of listening to them. Even Adam's solo stuff gets played a lot by me. Love them/him :-)
I was into the original Ants in 1978 all their best stuff was before the Dirk stuff, like this song originally done in 1977 shame this wasn't on the UK album all the songs on B. Sides on their singles in the early 80's were originally early Ants songs re recorded, I remember their last ever in Camden in 1979,rest of the band formed Bow Wow Wow Adam got Marco in for Ants mk2 rest is history as they say.

I discovered this at 17, and my friends thought that I was crazy...that was 1981, and it sounds just as good to me now, as it did 40 years ago!

I had the uk version of this album 1980 and press darlings was on it.....seen them live santa Barbara. California 1983...INXS was the opening band...memories

always loved this song & this was never on the UK version of the album & even though this is the re-recorded version strange song to put on it as it's an original song from the 977 Adam & the Ants now that was a great track

David Otto it wad an awesome concert! His guitarist died just a day or two after we saw them.

This was never on uk release of the album it was uk b side to kings single however it replaced making history on side 1 of the us album

This was never on the vinyl album. Probably on the CD.
+Dru How I bought the vinyl too around that time in The Netherlands but it wasn't on that one. I still have it :) Must have been a special overseas edition that you bought.

Well, it was not on the European version that I bought in 1980. There were obviously 2 versions.
