Power supply is not included with the case. Video misleading. The XWORKS website offers "Power Supply Compatibility" list of manufacturers and model numbers, helpful! I could not find where they offered custom cables. The website offers "Suggested Cable Lengths" used to custom make your own. Video led me to believe XWORKS offered custom cables. Perhaps they sent you a special package that contained the PS and Cables or I just didn't see an easy path on their website for purchase. Otherwise very great video and great presentation as usual! Thank You!
I like the internal ssd mounts in the spine, I'll probably incorporate that in my next 3D printed case to fit a SFX PSU rather than a FLEX PSU. A shame so many of these cases have to cost as much as a 3D printer and take only an afternoon or two to model.
First time I've seen those thermal pads used, I'd like to see a real world thermal comparison with paste. The reviews on Amazon indicate it's difficult to install due to it being fragile.
Like Nathan said, the temp difference is small. If you are setting up a permanent system I would still go with paste, but for someone like me, the pads simplify the build process a lot.
Kinda cool, and I can see why dinner people would be into this. For me personally it's not a case, not of a component stand. $180 seem a lot for not munch in the way of a "case". For that money there are other options is rather have, then again this kind of case just dissent speak to me that much. I guess subs would be happy to pay that price.
Thanks for this. I’m getting back into computer building after a long absence. Could this case be used as a foundation inside a custom shell made of something unique like wood or carbon fibre?
This thing is expensive and no it is not a case this is shelf of some sorts for holding PC parts together. In my humble opinion 30 USD is reasonable price. Nice Video , thanks for your review.
Great review Jay and loving the case! Awesome layout and soooo tiny! Great as a HTPC / SFF light-mid level gaming rig 🥰🥰🥰🤯🤯🥳🥳! Easy to clean to with a data vac or compressed air cleaner when needed. Price I agree is a little steep considering, but a terrific chassis nonetheless 🥰👍
Great review, but do you have any update for this case bro? , like change the low profile cpu fan with another type or brand ,or change the GPU with AMD mini-ITX...😄
Dude your videos are good enough that if you posted more you’d have a much bigger YT channel. Not to say that you really want to have one, it’s just there potential is really there. You did one of my fav builds a few years back on that mini cube you had to order from that sketchy site lmaooo I really forget the name but it was a DOPE build
Ha, thanks. I should be on a more consistent post schedule in the coming weeks. I have a full time career though, so its tough to post as much as I would like.
@@Tekeverything The fact that they supply lengthed cables is just the icing on the cake. Sorry if i missed it, the price you gave (180) includes the cables or the PSU?
Out of curiosity, is the bottom of the graphics card's io shield flexing to fit near the power supply? It looks like it sits a little close. Also, have you had any bad experiences with having the Noctua fan in the pull configuration rather than the standard push? That seemed like an interesting choice! That aside, it looks like a wonderful case! Thanks for the well-made review and educational video!
All testing was done with the fan in the push config. You can certainly use the L9i in pull, but it works much better in push. The GPU IO shield is not flexing. It looks like its slight angled because the angle of the mounting bracket was ever so slightly off. I would just have to loosen it and turn it a few mm.
How have you found the acoustics of the Delta compared to the 7660? I'd be concerned about a Noctua mod with the decreased airflow, looks like the Enhance with a Sunon fan may be the best option for Flex ATX.
The acoustics don't really seem to be effected by the hard drive enclosure. The shroud primarily covers the backside of the PSU which already has no ventilation. Definitely would still see a benefit from doing a fan mod/update.
Awesome vid as always. I don't want to dwell on race but it's really cool seeing another Black person building mini itx PCs. I honestly thought I was the only one! Thanks for this awesome channel! If I may ask anything, are you planning on doing "lower end" cases in the future? Or ones that are cheaper?
That $180 price tag is way too steep, and should be core downside of this video, not a parting thought tacked on to the end. You are better off spending that money upgrading other parts, as other premium sfx cases like the Dan a4 are half the price, and an actual test bench a fraction. This "case" also does not come with a psu or cables as you seem to imply, making this a glorified piece of bent metal, rather than a real case.
CUTE. Would love to see this on a floating shelf.
I like that idea a lot.

Unless you’ve bought a case already, Xproto mini case is sort of like this one and it can include a psu with custom cables
Price would definitely be a little more acceptable if they did include the PSU and cables.
0:06 the power of a server in the palm of my hand
Dude, I've had this layout in my mind for ages. I would prefer it as an actual case but its cool to see that the layout works at least.
like seeing new uploads from the SFM community on youtube
Mate, I love ITX builds and i'm so glad I found your channel. Binging some of your older vids rn. and ofcourse, subbed!
It would be my perfect case if it had a way to cover everything with a mesh enclosure. Would buy it immediatly
Seems like that would be relatively easy. I could be wrong though.
@AliceEphemeral thanks!
cables management are awesome here
NOW that's a good case! Holy moly!
Dude!!!! Glad I found your channel!!! Awesome content and informative!
Hey thanks, glad you found it as well

sfx good xworks x64))
For something similar in an open chassis with an SFX PSU you can check out the Hydra.
THAT LAYOUT but with a case.
First time I've seen those thermal pads used, I'd like to see a real world thermal comparison with paste. The reviews on Amazon indicate it's difficult to install due to it being fragile.
I think LTT did one ages back it was like 1-2c worse in thermal performance. If I were swapping systems round regularly I'd definitely use them.
Like Nathan said, the temp difference is small. If you are setting up a permanent system I would still go with paste, but for someone like me, the pads simplify the build process a lot.
Jay..really nice build, that case is wicked.
Kinda cool, and I can see why dinner people would be into this. For me personally it's not a case, not of a component stand.

So glad you did a review of this case. I am literally on the fence about getting it since yesterday.
That's a clean build.
Thanks for this. I’m getting back into computer building after a long absence. Could this case be used as a foundation inside a custom shell made of something unique like wood or carbon fibre?
Anywhere know where I can get this case?
Insane looking case!
Great review as always
Красиво. Аккуратно. Функционально. Не люблю открытые системы, но всеравно смотрится весьма интересно.
Открытые дела находят свое место. Такой кейс рассчитан на очень конкретного человека.

Gonna put my Core 2 Extreme in this
Great case, nice review as always! The only thing that I find visualy annoying about the case, is the way the GPU metal feet hang above the PSU.
Interesting, I suppose they could add a little cover piece for that.
If this was wall-mountable also, that would be another +1. I don't game, so using an APU and Pico ATX PSU would be nice in this.
wauw that is one compact pc
How do I get the custom power supply cables?
Great review, but do you have any update for this case bro? , like change the low profile cpu fan with another type or brand ,or change the GPU with AMD mini-ITX...😄
Has anyone found a solution for the power supply? I cant find anything with a decent wattage that is also modular to even support custom cables.
Man that looks sick!
Will this work for a graphics card wider than the case? Such as an Asus strix 2070 super?
I think noctua makes fans that can replace the one In the flex atx psu that will drop the noise drastically
Yes they do, I actually have a few. If this was my unit I would swap them out.
@@Tekeverything beautiful build man regardless. you can fit that system in my shoe box
What psu? I didn't see one on their site.

I'm with you, ha

Love these mini beasts, upload gameplay with benchmarks plzz
I hope in matx system use sfx psu 😀
I have some question, if we dont use vga, instead we use onboard card, how small it can be
Asus deskmini 310 for Intel. A300 and X300 for Ryzen. Or Inwin Chopin if u wanna build ur own mainboard.

Nice as always but one question screaming in my mind as soon as seeing that type of PSU is Noise?
First! It's been a while bro. Good to see u

Where did you get them cables for it?
They sent them with the case.
@@Tekeverything Looks like they don't have a selling link for the cables on their website :(
Great Video. Nice system. Any idea as to the model number of the PSU in use? P500-50FSPT?
I actually didn't even look. I will check and add it to the article.
I'd love to build inside an ITX case one of these days. Most of the computers I've built have been big since I've been using E-ATX motherboards.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
For $180 I would hope the PSU was included
Awesome video. Idk if I missed it, but is the PSU included?
No, the PSU and cables are not included.
I would modify and use my corsair sf600
Really love the case :) I just wish the flex psu had noctua fan
Just looked at the website, pretty sure the case doesn’t come with the psu or cables.
You need to get a wowstick F1+ electric screwdriver

I still cant wrap my head around how it can be called a "case" when it is open air ... literally just a plate you can screw stuff on ...

This isn't a case designed for most people. It will connect with a small portion of ITX builders. For those people it will be worth it.
was going to get this but its a dealbreaker for not offering psu and custom cables, guess i'll be getting Xproto mini
i want that case
it's a stand, where's the case?
