    The “FF” in “FF04” means “For Fun”. This is a project that XiKii made out of his own passion. When he shared his ideas, others expressed interest in having one for themselves. So he made it available. Please remember, this is not a mass market product. It’s a showpiece for those who enjoy it. It’s okay to disagree with the premise, the price or have constructive criticism, but please be respectful.

      SFF is not for the poors. You are paying more money for less features on parts to experience a terrible building experience and thermal throttling anything mid to high end.

      @zoopa9988 3 місяці тому

      @@armandocardona6975 Small Form Factor (SFF) builds don't necessarily have to cost more or thermal throttle any more than a standard build. My ASRock A620I Lightning Wi-Fi motherboard and Xproto case were both around $150, which are pretty typical prices. You could argue that standard PC cases are usually cheaper, but motherboards for regular PCs can also easily cost $200.
      Apart from that, you might pay a slight premium for the power supply, but that's about it. ATX PSUs were around $100, while I paid about $130 for my SFX PSU. So, overall, going with an SFF build doesn't have to be significantly more expensive, depending on your choices, of course.

    I dont know. This feels way too expensive for something that doesn't have flexible cooling options, probably looks weird without the ProArt GPU, and has the IO facing down? what if I want to stick a usb in there? nah the M2 or C4sfx are absolutely the way to go. This feels like a pretty case with really mid functionality, made for someone to review on youtube if anything.

      @@NOTNAFilms it is the lower end lol, just cause keyboards "have become cheaper recently", therefore, more entry level options are available (some crazy cheap ones on aliexpress and taobao etc for like 30-40$), it doesn't change the fact 600 is what you'd pay for the case alone of a keyboard. add some rare switches for 100 and rare keycaps for 150-300 (Some GMKs are crazy expensive, Cerakey ceramic ones are around 150 too), and you'll end up with over 1000$.
      And there are cases that cost 1000 alone. Plus if you get into artisan keycaps you'd be paying 150$ for a spacebar.
      For example a Mammoth75 with a Brass PVD mirror is $750. A Zero Great Sword ends up being 550-600 with duty and shipping.
      A used Pixelspace Capsule goes for 500-600 easily, used.

    I love the look. It's beautiful.
    I don't think I would buy it even if I had more than 84 cents. Zero protection from the elements for that GPU. Zero noise reduction. Very high cost. For $600 they could have included a cheap tool to reach that part one needs to reach to use it.
    Also working with only a couple of GPUs and a single PSU model? So basically as soon as you want or need to change your GPU, you are FRAKED. If the PSU needs replacement, you are FRAKED. IF you can't find the same exact models available any more. $600 down the drain.
    Only one USB port at the front and all the motherboard's ports at the bottom of the case...
    Again aesthetically it's beautiful. The artist inside me loves this. I wouldn't buy it though. The idea of building a desktop PC for very limited specific hardware and nothing else, feels me with a reflex of me saying GTFO to it. If someone (yeah I know) gifted it to me, I would cherish it and keep it long after it was dead. Since that obviously is not going to happen, pass.
    Thanks for the video and bravo to the people who made it for trying something different.

For instance, there are no dust filters at all on this thing. I think that we are starting to lose sight of a lot of the basics of case design.
