Fun fact: that song, "Hello ma Baby", came out in 1899, so RDR2 is historically accurate on this as well. It's crazy how this game feels like a real world.
11:05 made me laugh so hard when you thought you killed her 😂 the scream and then silence followed by the slight “uh oh” immediately before she started talking again was hilarious.
So, yes, the Braithwaite girl you found in the outskirts was Catherine’s daughter that Beau Gray spoke of earlier and the poor girl was thrown out and locked up by her mother for her deformities.. It really tells you how savage people like her were during this time in America
Rainsfall is one of my favourite characters, voiced by Graham Greene. Their tribe is loosely based on the Lakota/Dakota people, who were pushed north towards Canada and eventually settled near the Canada/US border
graham greene is so so good in like absolutely everything. jeremiah bitsui (eagle flies) is fantastic too. he also played victor on breaking bad/better call saul lol
I loved the vibes of this episode! Just a chill day out on the town in Saint Dennis with Arthur. Seeing art, buying guns, watching a show, and of course... robbing a boat 🤣 I'm still in awe at the level of detail in the theater shows! I never took the time when I played to go and watch them in my own time. Today's show you watched was actually so much fun! I love the design of the theater too. Reminds me of a historic theater in a downtown area near me that got converted to show movies. I saw Whiplash for the first time in theaters there and it was an amazing experience! When I played this, somehow I missed Albert Mason's kickoff quest, and completely skipped his entire questline sadly... So I really enjoyed seeing his missions through your playthrough, and especially his pictures in the gallery! I had no idea they'd be there so I was just as surprised as you when you walked in and saw them haha Also, that scenic train ride you mentioned sounds AMAZING. I absolutely love mountain scenery in general, and then paired with the fall colors sounds like it'll be so beautiful!
I loved that she caught that guy on fire in the front row 🤣🔥 absolutely hilarious. someone else in the comments said that it could be because I antagonized a lot and the show went a little crazy because of it! I loooooved the art gallery and seeing Albert's photographs in there. My favorite is definitely the one of Arthur! I wish we could have taken a cheesy selfie with the emotes in front of it hahaha. And yessss, I'm very excited for the train ride around hocking hills this fall! I feel like it's going to be a magical experience for sure ✨
That’s crazy I’ve never noticed the photographs in the art gallery before! That why I love watching your play through. You pay attention to the little details in every area you encounter.
22:04 That train ride sounds amazing! If you have never been to Arizona you can take a train to the Grand Canyon from Williams, Arizona. Totally recommend you do this if you haven't yet!
oooo that sounds beautiful! i'm really excited for the train ride at hocking hills this fall! vegas and arizona have been on my trip list for awhile now! I hope I can go sometime soon
@@kaliwali I live in GA and year ago I thought it'd be neat to take a train to Vegas (and fly home). Turns out there's very little passenger train traffic to play with in the US. AND it's expensive if you want to get a room to sleep in too. When it was all said and done, it was cheaper to fly :( Also, I'm surprised you said that song at the theater that reminded you of your grandma, didn't remind you of the singing frog from Loony Tunes.
Just a little tip, (haven’t finished whole video so if this was figured out ignore me) but the Lemat Revolver has a switch that allows you to use shotgun ammo
About the Theatre singer who's voice you liked. The vocalist (Robyn Adele Anderson) for this character has done some work with 'Postmodern Jukebox' over the years (in which they collab to cover about 30 modern-day songs in various old time classic styles together). There's a playlist on UA-cam of the songs she's involved in with them, which is well worth a listen. 😎
if you haven't noticed rdr2 is one of the most detailed games ever made and the theatre shows in saint denis are different every time, don't underestimate this game, not just the theatre but the movies as well.
I think the shows on the theater are the best, I mean they're funny and entertaining, is like going for real to a theater, This game has a second plan for you even if you feel bored. Anyways, keep going Kali!
Good Morning Kali…can’t wait to watch this episode. You are doing an amazing job and I’m enjoying your play throughs of RDR2. I like how you explore everything and talk about each setting of the game too. Can’t wait to watch the next episode. Keep up the amazing work. Have a good day today and enjoy your weekend. 👍💯
I don't know why, but I like that we get to take Strauss and Trelawney on a mission. It's fun to get some of the gang in on the action who usually sit in the back row.
Trains are great… I used to go on one every summer to visit my gran… I miss those days. I appreciated it as a kid, but I think older me would appreciate it even more. My father is pretty much like Sean, he just talks and talks about nothing with and to anybody with ears in range of him, which as a young kid was ten levels beyond embarrassment.
I was watching you with the Braitwait woman. You are so sweet how concerned you were. I love it. But I am so impressed how you pick up all this information so quick. I am dense it takes me a while to find things out.
I got a lot of respect for Evelyn Miller. Just a decent man, helping out people who are in a terrible position. He doesn't care about things like race. All he sees is injustice and wants to fight against it. I wish to clarify, I know nothing about Evelyn Miller except his involvement with helping the natives and his writings being an influence on Dutch so I cannot say with certainty if overall he actually is a good man. Just from what I see here, it seems like he is the good sort.
The people in the back of the Braitwaite manor I believe are the people they’ve hired to work the lands, and they’re not as … annoyed or perturbed by our presence as the remaining family and their security are. Also I don’t know if it is my comment about searching around the manor is the one you’re taking about, as you probably has a lot of people mention it, but I’m happy to see you doing it… even if it is a little crazy, but it adds flavour to the world and the historical accuracy of how people with mental issues were treated by family members in such times and even a bit into the 29th century. History of mental health is a subject close to my heart for a number of reasons.
There’s a lot of theories about the numbers she’s spouts are thought to be some kind of code to find something in the game, but I don’t think it’s been discovered yet or if this is indeed true, knowing Rockstar there is a secret we have yet to find.
I rode a train once in the 80s with my grandmother when I was eight. I had a blast & it wasn’t a “foliage train ride.” Have a blast with your family on that day. Sounds spectacular!! 😉🤘🏻 I never was arrested playing RDR2. I’d shoot my way out or die trying 😂 thank you for showing us that little aspect of the game. 😉 All you have to do to watch from the balcony is go left up the stairs from the ticket taker.
LOVE your expressions when Trelawny was explaining the poker situation. Never saw those gators in St. Denis gun shop. Very cool. Arthur smiling in the gallery was hilarious. Has anyone seen Gavin?!?!?!
Howdy Kali. Happy you finally visited the gunsmith, and bought my favorite gun. The LeMat is a 9 shot revolver with a 1 shot shotgun shell barrel. I always equip 2 matching LeMat's to my Arthur, for that deadly gunslinger look. Also happy you found Albert's pictures in the gallery, so many people miss these works of art. I can't believe so many people play this game and skip the side/random missions, they are so entertaining and make this world feel more real.
The fact that Charles Chataney's one of the very few people in this game who can provoke a genuine laugh from Arthur makes him my favorite side character. Btw Jolene's still waiting to get outta the stable lol.
Tip: You can equip that watch (or others) to tell the time. It appears in the slot where your camera is. Look at it to tell the time when you are on foot.
I was watching someone’s playthrough who had not done all the Albert Mason missions when they came into St Denis and there were paintings hanging in place of the photos. Felt bad they missed a treat
As someone wrote. Equip the new clock to your wheel. In the gunstore you must knock on the door in the back of the store and then return to the gunsmith. Remember Pearsons compas. You got a small grey dot blinking in the house close to your room. Oh, and search the last island across the outhouse with the disfigured girl.
Wow, you found the Braithwaite’s secret! It’s really sad what happened to that poor girl but it wasn’t her fault at all…Plantation families would almost always practice incest, and that practice leads to various health problems and deformities of the body. Obviously that wasn’t known back then. Because of that, the Braithwaite’s saw her as a failed member of the family due to her condition, leading to them locking her up…
Also the LeMat is a real weird historical piece, holds a bunch of rounds and you can switch it to fire a single shotgun shell from the underbarrel. Cool af gun
You'll perhaps be pleased to know that if you step forward to shoot Benjamin Lazarus in the theatre, you can fire at his... nethers... you can technically say he catches it. But he even has a special dialogue stating that he is "not a venus fly trap" in response to his abrupt castration which is just genius 😂
Surprised to see an episode so soon, happy to see it, though your voice sounded a bit lower than usual, (might just be my ears being funny) in any case I hope you’re not coming down with a cold or flu…. The weather shifts always hit me this time of year and I just got over a bout with a cold, but it was not fun.
Oh by the way, you can now buy the semi auto shotgun after finishing the mission with Trelawney. It's the best shotgun to have in your arsenal, also really handy to fend off either humans or animal attacks.
If you liked what you seen in the Saint Denis gunsmith, I recommend finishing the Wildlife Art Exhibition hunting challenge. There's a lot more to the story than just receiving money and items for carcasses sent.
Your dalmation horse doesn't want to leave you despite it being stranded in numerous places lol. Oh man this episode is making me miss Sean. Also miss Javiers guitar playing as the gang doesn't seem as happy.
You are the first to take a photo of a photo. If you didn't finish the Albert jobs, you'll never see those photo's. More Chatenay: North mountain top at Moonstone pond.
1:24:24 As I mentioned in my previous comment on another video, I suggested making a short recording with the chelonians. Keeping that in mind, I think it would be interesting to make another recording at the theater, this time aiming below the guy's belt instead of his teeth to see the outcome. 😄
You should look up Texas Holdem, it's fun in red dead but it's even better IRL with friends. Poker isn't hard at all once you know the basics, it's like chess. Just with way more randomization.
Saint Denis is easy to get in trouble with the law lol. Except that one stranger who was terrible that you hogtied and put on train track as law didn't care about that.
Even clothing same thing buy all the clothes u want it's worth it so many different styles and choices its something almost all of us players do theirs like unlimited ways to make money in the game
Arthur's delight at the chaos in the art gallery is great - it's truly one of his happiest moments. Not complaining, just curious: does UA-cam really penalize you for something like Charles' nude artwork, or do you just censor those for our benefit?
Now, can you solve the riddle of those numbers the Braithwaite daughter is saying? Beau mentioned the girl when you were riding with him after the rally! Catherine Braithwaite’s daughter no one had seen for some time.
Of course there’s more than one show, this is Rockstar! In fact, there are still many shows. You only watched two. Try to sit on the first floor so you can interact
Trust me buy all the guns u can in the game itll be worth it u can never go wrong with it theirs always time to make more money and you'll have plenty of options of weaponry
I used my salad fork for the main course in Saint Denis and they arrested me But seriously, you can’t do anything wrong in Saint Denis without the law coming down on you
There is a channel named strange man where he will talk everything about mysteries in red dead that will help you learn more about those stories, btw love your gameplay ❤, keep it up
29:50 I guess he would/could be.. in any other context, but seen where we are in the story.. after the O'driscolls, after the tram robbery disaster, after being apparently identified by the very mayor of the city.. I can understand that he wants to lay as low as possible.. The "I'm no do-gooder" feels more like a personna he adopts every so often.. maybe because he has a fairly low self-esteem maybe because it encourages people to not expect much from him and stay away. But mostly I think he just heard "Cornwall" and said "nope.. nope.. can't get me/or my friends in any more danger than we are now", but then.. they need money :/
WAIT. WHAT. When I did the riverboat mission it wouldn't let me leave the barber without a CLEAN SHAVE. :o I feel so very cheated :c if I knew it was a question of pommade..
Fo the Brathwaite secret, the phrase 'a child locked in a closet until they were 17 wouldn't be sane' fits perfectly here. The girl was simply born with a cleft lip, and was mentally sound. But, because of her appearance, they locked her away where she slowly went mad all by herself :(. I'm willing to bet no-one had visited her in years.
Nice job Kali to go back to the Braithwaite's area after I mentioned it having a bit of extra lore a few episodes back! As you probably know by now that girl/lady is the daughter that was briefly mentioned in one of the earlier Braithwaite missions. Locked away because of her mental handicap and deformities, such a sad thing...
I'm honestly so sad I needed to blur this out LOL. UA-cam has been so strict on my account lately ever since I had a bunch of copyright songs from Life Is Strange and the F word being thrown around all over from that too which brings down my ad suitability. It's so sad and honestly, disrespectful. I apologize 🤣😂
There's a yellow house you need to check out in Rhodes, theres something useful you can pick up inside. Also, you should just sell that horse so it stops following you around.
Didn't think you were gonna get around to investigating Gertrude's prison. As I said a couple episodes back, the Braithwaites were even crueler than what they let on in public. People say that the numbers she rambles have some special meaning... Rockstar has made very elaborate easter eggs in the past with previous games. I don't think anyone has figured it out yet. Sadly, nothing can be done for her as far as I know. I do know that if you visit again around chapter six, this encounter changes again. Keep riding pilgrim. Keep riding and don't look back 🫡🤠
I love how you keep assuming the police are going to be fair to Arthur, an outlaw and murderer, just because "you did nothing wrong!" The Saint Denis police are paid off by Bronte, and work for the Mayor. They're not fair. The Rhodes police are Grays, and not exactly friends of the gang either. Plus - it's a game, so... 😆
17:03 "Arthur, come up here." Great, now he can yell down at us. 😉 19:03 John throwing Arthur out of their family room. 😂 Probably try knocking next time. 😉 (BTW: I really think they should have added the option of knocking on a door before barging into people's rooms.) 24:47 "Now you guys see the inside of this very fancy prison." Well, it's a steel cage. If the rest of the building is fancy probably show it some other time. 31:03 The full gunsmith visit experience. 🙂 34:29 "Let's customize our guns first and then we might rob him." 😂 38:18 "I'm very curious what kinds of operations he's running in here." If I remember the info we heard or read somewhere there's some high stakes poker games above the gun store (if that's the right one). 40:37 "The sooner you go in there, the sooner you can come out." Good to see Doorman has got his logic together. 😉 42:19 Very cool we get to see the exhibition we contributed to ... and the look of surprise on your face. 😉 42:45 "The wolves look a little different." Same negative. He just mirrored it. 43:29 Our photo's hanging in a gallery. We made it! 🤩 45:00 Heavily censored paintings without reason. * sigh * 51:20 "Yeah he's still blackmailing us." Probably not a great idea. Most accidents happen in people's homes. Would be a shame, if he fell of his balcony. 😉😎 57:59 "I have a feeling ..." Sounds like a pretty good plan what he explains there, apart from dropping Arthur in cold water instead of rehearsing that scenario. Hey, you finally get to playing poker ... well a version highly rigged in your favor. 1:03:55 "This is making me so nervous as I have no idea what's going on." Well, you had about 2 months to watch a 10 minute video to learn the rules. "I guess I should have learned how to play poker." You don't say? 😉Your guess is correct. 😂 "Leviticus Cornwall" - "We've crossed paths. I was fortunate enough to tour a little operation of his in New Hannover." Are we alluding to us robbing his train? 😂 1:07:00 "This boat's so fancy." So many beautiful details. 1:16:41 Another cool show in this beautiful theater. Nice! 1:23:24 "I challenge any member of the audience ..." Oh oh, famous last words. 1:24:08 "No way" Wow, how did he do that? "I was expecting it to go horrible." Me too. That trick normally does not work with the real thing. (Don't do this at home kids. These are professional video game characters. 😉) 1:25:25 "She does emit fire from almost every orifice in her body." * Kali thinking about which ones for a moment * 🤣 1:27:58 "Yeah, fire lady!" - "I think my favorite part of this show is just like what the people have to say and what Arthur can say." - "You belong in the kitchen!" - "OMG. Except that." 🤣🤣🤣 1:29:27 Lovely song! 1:35:27 "I love going to the theater ... Lion King ... Phantom of the Opera" I like theater shows too. Have seen some. It has been a while though. Have seem Phantom of the Opera too. Funny enough that was in San Francisco many years ago and it was great. 1:36:00 Meanwhile in front of the theater Epona took the time to climb a tree. ... Quite an unusual behavior for a member of equus ferus caballus, isn't it? What's going on Rockstar? 😂 1:39:16 We could buy some candy for Jack. He asked us a couple of times. The buy option popped up for the red and white striped little bags. 🍬🍬🍬 1:43:24 That article is a good bad example of government controlled press turning reality on its head to fit their intentions. 1:51:34 Dynamite + Stage coach "As far as actually using it I don't think so." We stopped one with dynamite killing the horses and one of the drivers, if I remember correctly.
Remember what Trelawny talk about in Rhodes? Remember what he talk about now? Mark his words. He talk like he know whats happened. He is only one member of the gang, who didnt tell anything about himself. Don't you think it's strange? 😉 Do more often Rain Falls mission, they can help you know more about Arthurs previous life.
Absolutely agree that the best part of the art gallery is just how much Arthur is enjoying himself.

Hi Kali, In those times it was believed that people born with a lip like that, where posessed. It is sad.
ugh that's so sad..
You might need to play poker with the gang in camp to kick off the Pearson item request for the naval compass
I’ve somehow never noticed the picture of Arthur in the art gallery, very cool
@44:06 The devs be like "F*@k Your Selfie!"
😭
Something funny happens if you get drunk and antagonize people in camp
1:24:24 As I mentioned in my previous comment on another video, I suggested making a short recording with the chelonians. Keeping that in mind, I think it would be interesting to make another recording at the theater, this time aiming below the guy's belt instead of his teeth to see the outcome. 😄
The DC Metro is much better than having to drive in DC.
I equipped that expensive watch from the riverboat and kept it through the rest of the game just for the heck of it
You could find moose north east on your map. :~)
You should look up Texas Holdem, it's fun in red dead but it's even better IRL with friends. Poker isn't hard at all once you know the basics, it's like chess. Just with way more randomization.
Next time u visit the fence there should be a new revolver u can buy called the high roller check it out
Even if u might not use them as much they all have great purpose in certain situations
I'm pretty sure the guy that catches the bullet actually dies if you continuously insult him
Saint Denis is easy to get in trouble with the law lol. Except that one stranger who was terrible that you hogtied and put on train track as law didn't care about that.
You should try. double - double action revolver shooting without aiming :)
45:28 that’s what she said Charles version😂
Even clothing same thing buy all the clothes u want it's worth it so many different styles and choices its something almost all of us players do theirs like unlimited ways to make money in the game
Dayum, Arthur is becoming a thicc boy.... 😂
Arthur's delight at the chaos in the art gallery is great - it's truly one of his happiest moments. Not complaining, just curious: does UA-cam really penalize you for something like Charles' nude artwork, or do you just censor those for our benefit?
20:10 crying in the club again
Love your videos by the way brings me joy to watch them I'd love to do the same some day and feel the same experience you do keep it up lol 😄
When do you do the live shows? I always miss it.
Great playthrough but please check out the challenges on the progress menu. You're so far in without giving them a look. Unlocks so much good stuff.
Now, can you solve the riddle of those numbers the Braithwaite daughter is saying? Beau mentioned the girl when you were riding with him after the rally! Catherine Braithwaite’s daughter no one had seen for some time.
1:49:46 There are more theater shows, including the one with Miss Marjorie, Bertram and Magnifico.
Of course there’s more than one show, this is Rockstar! In fact, there are still many shows. You only watched two. Try to sit on the first floor so you can interact
Oh, you didnt get Hosea bailing you out of jail :( Guess you'll have to get arrested more to get it :p
1:28:28: that happened because you antagonised a lot. if you antogize the performers, the act goes wrong.
aww :c
Trust me buy all the guns u can in the game itll be worth it u can never go wrong with it theirs always time to make more money and you'll have plenty of options of weaponry
Aw ,you haven't been on a train before? 😱🥺
what part when she does the is the kieran mission i couldnt find it?
You can't be first. You can be next. 😄
I used my salad fork for the main course in Saint Denis and they arrested me
But seriously, you can’t do anything wrong in Saint Denis without the law coming down on you
There is a channel named strange man where he will talk everything about mysteries in red dead that will help you learn more about those stories, btw love your gameplay ❤, keep it up
I have a weird story about Gavin's friend, but I can't tell you because it includes spoilers.
7:20 I wouldn't be surprised if a few years earlier those were the slaves housing..
But mostly I think he just heard "Cornwall" and said "nope.. nope.. can't get me/or my friends in any more danger than we are now",
but then.. they need money :/
I never saw the topHat gator 😭incredible
I'm so happy you saw the Arthur portrait 🥺🥹
WAIT.
WHAT.
When I did the riverboat mission it wouldn't let me leave the barber without a CLEAN SHAVE.
:o
I feel so very cheated :c
if I knew it was a question of pommade..
1:28:06 "YOU NEED TO LEAVE!"
Should do that San Denis bounty. Has a unique item.
ok ı'll catch you later
Nice job Kali to go back to the Braithwaite's area after I mentioned it having a bit of extra lore a few episodes back!
As you probably know by now that girl/lady is the daughter that was briefly mentioned in one of the earlier Braithwaite missions. Locked away because of her mental handicap and deformities, such a sad thing...
Really? You blurred the whole ass' art? Yes, he is also my favourite NPC. & you blurred his art! Sacrilegious!
I was just teasing@@kaliwali Happy trails, Cowpoke
Keep riding and don't look back 🫡🤠
I love how you keep assuming the police are going to be fair to Arthur, an outlaw and murderer, just because "you did nothing wrong!"
The Saint Denis police are paid off by Bronte, and work for the Mayor. They're not fair.
The Rhodes police are Grays, and not exactly friends of the gang either.
Plus - it's a game, so... 😆
LOL I have too much faith, I suppose 🤣
17:03 "Arthur, come up here." Great, now he can yell down at us. 😉
19:03 John throwing Arthur out of their family room. 😂 Probably try knocking next time. 😉 (BTW: I really think they should have added the option of knocking on a door before barging into people's rooms.)
24:47 "Now you guys see the inside of this very fancy prison." Well, it's a steel cage. If the rest of the building is fancy probably show it some other time.
31:03 The full gunsmith visit experience. 🙂
34:29 "Let's customize our guns first and then we might rob him." 😂
38:18 "I'm very curious what kinds of operations he's running in here." If I remember the info we heard or read somewhere there's some high stakes poker games above the gun store (if that's the right one).
40:37 "The sooner you go in there, the sooner you can come out." Good to see Doorman has got his logic together. 😉
42:19 Very cool we get to see the exhibition we contributed to ... and the look of surprise on your face. 😉
42:45 "The wolves look a little different." Same negative. He just mirrored it.
43:29 Our photo's hanging in a gallery. We made it! 🤩
45:00 Heavily censored paintings without reason. * sigh *
51:20 "Yeah he's still blackmailing us." Probably not a great idea. Most accidents happen in people's homes. Would be a shame, if he fell of his balcony. 😉😎
57:59 "I have a feeling ..." Sounds like a pretty good plan what he explains there, apart from dropping Arthur in cold water instead of rehearsing that scenario. Hey, you finally get to playing poker ... well a version highly rigged in your favor.
1:03:55 "This is making me so nervous as I have no idea what's going on."
Well, you had about 2 months to watch a 10 minute video to learn the rules.
"I guess I should have learned how to play poker." You don't say? 😉Your guess is correct. 😂
"Leviticus Cornwall" - "We've crossed paths. I was fortunate enough to tour a little operation of his in New Hannover." Are we alluding to us robbing his train? 😂
1:07:00 "This boat's so fancy." So many beautiful details.
1:25:25 "She does emit fire from almost every orifice in her body." * Kali thinking about which ones for a moment * 🤣
1:27:58 "Yeah, fire lady!" - "I think my favorite part of this show is just like what the people have to say and what Arthur can say." - "You belong in the kitchen!" - "OMG. Except that." 🤣🤣🤣
1:29:27 Lovely song!
1:39:16 We could buy some candy for Jack. He asked us a couple of times. The buy option popped up for the red and white striped little bags. 🍬🍬🍬
1:43:24 That article is a good bad example of government controlled press turning reality on its head to fit their intentions.
1:51:34 Dynamite + Stage coach "As far as actually using it I don't think so." We stopped one with dynamite killing the horses and one of the drivers, if I remember correctly.
1:37:40 no you still got like 20 hours with ur slow paced gameplay
Remember what Trelawny talk about in Rhodes? Remember what he talk about now? Mark his words. He talk like he know whats happened. He is only one member of the gang, who didnt tell anything about himself. Don't you think it's strange? 😉 Do more often Rain Falls mission, they can help you know more about Arthurs previous life.
its rly sad if you visit the braithwaite girl later on in chapers she is died of hunger in there :(
Ain't no way I'm this early
🤣🤣🤣
You should try to go for a better horse & keep Apona in the stable. Go up north & look for the White Arabian.
