Force est de constater que - One cannot help stating that
On pourrait aller même jusqu'à dire que - One could go so far as to say that
Bien qu’il faille reconnaître qu’il y a des avantages de (voyager, par exemple), on doit aussi reconnaître qu’il y a des inconvénients - Although one must recognise that there are advantages of (travelling, for example), one must also recognise that there are disadvantages
Quoi qu'il en soit (je voudrais...) - Whatever the case (I would like to...)
Don't overuse these but they can really help show you off to the examiner.

How was english language?
I flopped so hard 😢 do u think I can still get a 9 if I missed the 20 marker if I make a comeback in paper 2

i think it went pretty well honestly, imaginative writing was a breeze but i think my story was a bit dramatic so i got a bit carried away 💀

In OCR english language we got joseph merrick's autobiography as one of the texts and my class had already studied him beforehand for context for one of the literature papers so that was really cool

I took GCSE Japanese in my school btw, done speaking and rest are in June, but I also did GCSE Russian back in year 10 (got grade 8) ;D
Some proper linguist 😭 does russian count as a modern foreign language or a community language

I'd suggest working on tenses as well, if you know your tenses you can easily write in the past or future tense and pick up more marks

I genuinely think that english language will even be more easier depenfding on the grade boundaries because according to last year 2023, the grade boundaries are partially low but high as well

I kinda had to rush question 2 and 3 to start 4 and 5, I feel like I barely talked about language techniques and I feel like my inferences were only really at surface level, maybe with a few that I explored more. My story I tried to make it an extended metaphor. What grade do u think I might get out of this?
How should your writing differ if you have to write about a blog ?

Np, I don’t like how the French GCSE isn’t really representative of the language because a lot of the stuff you have to write are just things that people would never say but oh well

@@LordMegatron100 really? The thing is mr salles said quantity = quality so I did add quite a lot of inferences and only expanded some
I got a 7 in my y11 mock so I want to settle for that or above; if it was a 5 could my language paper 2 bring my grade up to a 7 at least?

My question is I learnt gcse biology but i didn't do the exam.but I did 6 other subjects including chem and math, and I want to join medical university after finishing my a levels .will they accept me without gcse biology?
Yeah it doesn’t matter if you haven’t done GCSE bio
