Hi, Here is my baby's routine at 6 months. I have added 7 baby food ideas you an offer at 6 months.

RECIPE #1 - Oats Porridge
Ingredients: for oats porridge
Oats - 1 cup ( or 250 gms )
To prepare porridge:
oats powder - 1 tbsp
water - 1 cup ( or 250 ml )
RECIPE #2 - Avocado Banana Puree for baby
Ingredients: for Avocado Banana Puree
Avocado - half ( ripe and mushy )
Banana - half ( ripe )
RECIPE #3 - Carrot Puree
Ingredients: for Carrot puree for baby
carrot - half ( peeled and chopped )
Water - 1 cup ( or 200 ml )
RECIPE #4 - BANANA PUREE
Banana - half ( ripe)
RECIPE #5 - Rice & Carrot Puree
Ingredients: for rice and carrot puree for baby
rice - 1 tbsp
carrot - half ( peeled and chopped )
Water - 1 cup ( or 250 ml )

Such a great video, got many ideas and learnt many methods of baby food cooking. But I have a question, how many meals should I start with for my 6 month old baby? Is one meal ok? When should I move on to 2 meals and when to 3?

For 6 months baby, 1 meal a day is recommended (unless if you started at 4 or 5 months, you can give 2 meals at 6 months)
For 7 months, 2 meals a day
From 8 months, 3 meals a day

My baby is 6 month old now ..want to start banana puree ..u haven't added any milk into it .. ??it seems to be thick for first time..can we add molk or water?..
And for carrot puree u have boiled ryt..can we steam it or pressure cook ?
Hi Lavanya:), cow milk is not recommended until 12 months. You can add some breastmilk or formula milk.
Yes, you can always dilute thick purée with water.
Yes, you can also give steamed carrot or pressure cooked :)

Around 6 months, your baby will be ready for 1 meal. By end of 6 months, you can increase to 2 meals per day. Yes, you can feed the same recipe ( in the pan ).
Discard any uneaten leftover from the bowl.
