Reluctantly started Paxlovid on day 2, slept for 2 days, then got quickly better, feeling recovered a week out. Age 66 and vaxxed but not boosted. Glad I took it, and the taste is not nearly as bad as all the internet drama kings and queens lament!

Glad I've had no shots no paxlovid and no covid. I'm 67 and have fantastic supplements and amazing health. Imagine that!! I have ivermectin in my cupboard in case ;)

This is my third day of having covid. First day was body aches and head/ neck pain, sleepy and feeling miserable.
    Day two started Paxlovid.
Day three, headache and bodyaches are gone and have more energy. I know I’m not out of the woods yet,but fingers crossed.

If you are over 65 with health issues, you are in a dilemma if your symptoms are minimal during the first few days of infection. You don’t feel you need Paxlovid (especially if you were vaxxed and boosted) but fear you will miss the five day window and then become very sick after the fifth day. Do we know how many elderly people have minimal symptoms during the first five days and then get much worse symptoms? If we knew this, and the answer was reassuring, a lot of us would skip Paxlovid!

I'm taking this medicine and this metallic tasting my mouth is totally nasty. I've been taking it for 3 days now. I don't like the taste but I do have better symptoms than I did the first day. I wish I'd known all this information before I started taking this medicine. But I'm going to continue taking it hopefully I don't have the rebound but if I do I'll just deal with it when it happens. Have a nice day

Thank you, because yesterday I was feeling somewhat okay, but last night it was miserable. So, I said screw it, I might have to take this stuff. After watching this though, I think I may just fight through it on my own.
I do have a fair amount of health problems, but I've seen way too many bad experiences/reviews of this drug, and side effects, to just jump right in and take it. I'm on like day 3.
Day 1 was pretty bad, Day 2 I felt somewhat better and as I said, the night of Day 2 and this morning, I had super bad fever and muscle twitches/spasms, that's what made me think I should take it. I still don't know for sure.

my mom got covid and she got Paxlovid 2 days after, she was 3 times vaccinated and this was her first time getting Covid, she got so sick after 5 days that she could not get out of bed. she is 74 and she is still coughing really badly after more than 3 weeks and if it was not for my sister close care and attention, I really don't know what would had happened to her. Bottom line we think Paxlovid was not the right drug for her.

That's really sad, but people should hear what your own experiences are so thank you for sharing, in the meantime I encourage you to keep learning about the alternate avenues of prevention, I had to make a similar decision for my girlfriend who is 72 and because her symptom's were not that bad, I thought it best for her to just ''struggle'' through her first Covid Infection also this month of Jan, 2023, which she got from me evidently, (I was tested for positive for the first time over Dec 23rd to apx Jan 3rd, 2023)
I'm still open to taking Paxlovid for the first time if I get re-infected again,) but it would need to be a really bad infection, almost to the point where I would say
''I can't breathe, give me the Paxlovid '' in the meantime, here is just some of my Covid 19 prevention tools, being taken almost everyday:
      1) Black Tea with a probiotic , (I feel this is even more helpful than Green Tea, which many are doing, but the disadvantage here might only be very slight)
      2) NAC
      3 ) Moringa
      4) A Mullein Tincture at least 1X a day, the brand I take, thinks taking it even 3X a day is OK,
      5) 2,000 to 10,000 IU units of Vitamin D depending on blood serum vitamin D levels via routine blood test
      6) Enough magnesium monitoring to make sure, the Vitamin D is being absorbed properly, because without Magnesium, Vitamin D won't absorb in your body in the first place
      7) A humidifier with water mixed with Tea Trea Oil, like say 1/2 oz per 2 gallons of water,
and a close watch on the possibility we'll see a NASAL vaccine approved for use in the USA in 2023, but this could be a ''pipe dream'' even if the science is there to support it.

This is just a quick, thrown-together video with no thoughtful research (including source vetting) -- just heavy dependency on a report by the company that makes the drug. When I was growing up, every 5th Grader learned to use multiple sources for your book reports, and don't rely on a source connected to your subject. The 5th Grade teachers would not allow the pupils to just take the lazy way out The only thing this video seems to accomplish is generation of fodder for age discrimination.

Yes, it is FDA-approved. It is approved as an investigational medicine. Other than false or incomplete information, which you are giving to others, it might help to use complete sentences.
