Dude when hit the mayor it was just like a horror movie. I was terrified with the mixing of his scream and the music.

Honestly though, why can’t he be like this more often? During his games and singing segments he can be as loud and silly as he likes but during an interview it’s really nice to hear him ask questions and listen.

Such a massive actor. Paul Dano's The Riddler is as scary as Joaquin Phoenix's The Joker. Every time The Riddler appears in the scene, I can feel the SCARED AF vibe of the entire audiences. The Batman film is surreal!

We NEED to see more of this "dark universe" Batman. Scarecrow, Mr Freeze, to compliment Joaquin's Joker and Dano's Riddler, I'd LOVE to see a new version of Two Face. While I loved the Nolan Trilogy, I really feel Two Face was a wasted character. This new version of Riddler could have featured in the Arkham games perfectly. Love the direction this new Batman is going in.

Just saw the movie yesterday and Paul Dano absolutely killed it with this role. Left the movie theater telling my sister how badass and terrifying Riddler was over and over again.
My friend fancasted him as The Riddler one time on his IG, imagine how excited he was after he was cast.
He was giving me the Hush vibes from this movie man

EXACTLY 2 lol I grew up seeing this guy as a charcater from that movie. Pretty much like Jonah Hill and Superbad.
He was absolutely terrifying as the Riddler. I think he did incredible.
What was terrify? The fact that he had the guts to seek justice or the fact that he wasn't intimidated by bullies with badges? The Riddler did Batman's job the whole film, then he throws him jail and takes credit for "taking out" the mob. The Riddler was the real hero here!

The interrogation room scene is an absolute masterpiece of acting. Paul Dano is such an underrated actor, and I'm so glad people are finally giving him the appreciation he always deserved

I feel like the crowd don’t know who Paul is. He doesn’t get much reception from them. I don’t think they realise in the next couple of months, he’s FINALLY going to become a household name. As always, his performance was incredible.
He's always been a household name in my 🏠. Incredible actor and all around great person. 👍 He has been acting for 25 years, mostly Indie films but a lot of mainstream films. After The Batman, I believe people who didn't know him will start checking out his many accomplishments. He managed to keep from "Going Hollywood " with his "wife " Zoe Kazan " ( her grandfather is the late great Elia Kazan). I'm so proud of Paul and am happy he's finally going to get the accolades he truly deserves.

Portraying The Riddler as a Terrorist/Serial Killer is such a perfect way to do it. Matt Reeves and his team did an absolutely amazing job with The Batman.

@@fardinaaryan7435 I just said that he is currently the best supporting actor, because he has been casted numerous times as supporting instead of main character. And that's one of the reasons he is underrated, because he's almost never the main character. However, I'm absolutely aware that he could become one of the best actors of all time, if he starts to get more important roles and the proper visibility he deserves.
Another example of this reality could be applied to Philip Seymour Hoffman, which in my opinion, was one of the GOATs

That's a good comparison as well because we all know how great Philip Seymour Hoffman was in supporting roles which led to him being cast in a few main roles where he absolutely killed it! After his portrayal of the Riddler in this movie he may start being cashed in main roles.
I've been a Paul Dano fan since Little Miss Sunshine. He didn't speak one word until the last 30 minutes or so of the movie but was able to hold his own with Toni Collette, Greg Kinnear, Steve Carrel and Alan Arkin. He also does an amazing performance in Love and Mercy-it's that performance that actually got him the role as the Riddler.
Hell yeah, Little Miss Sunshine was my first intro to Paul. Loved all the work he's been in since then.
I just saw that movie for the first time recently and it was at that moment I knew, "holy crap, he's going to be so good in the batman"

Mainstream movies like Little Miss Sunshine, There Will be Blood with Daniel Day Lewis, Love and Mercy based on Beach Boys Brian Wilson 💙 ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️. There is Prisoners with Hugh Jackman , which is such a disturbing movie but one of Paul's best. His earlier films are L.I.E. with the great Brian Cox, also The Good Heart, also with Brian Cox. BEING Flynn with Robert Deniro is incredible acting by both actors. There are many others , The Girl Next Door, Youth, Swiss Army Man with Daniel Radcliffe 💜 ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ is a great and quirky movie. For Ellen is another favorite, Looper . There is Ruby Sparks ,incidentally that is where he met his "wife" Zoe Kazan. There are more things with Paul Dano in, you should really check out the movies I mentioned above. 😀 Believe me , you will thank me for introducing 🙏 ✨️ you to Paul Dano. Then look at all the characters he's portrayed - practically each one has a quirk or shortcoming.

This version of riddler was pretty accurate, in the comics he’s emotional and mentally unstable. He’s very erratic and eccentric he’s a Psychopath narcissist that has such obsession with Batman making himself believe he’s smarter than him. Felt that Dano did a wonderful job on his performance

Paul Dano simply killed it as the Riddler. He bring so much humanity to the character, yet shows that despite wanting to root for him to succeed, he needs to be stopped because the Riddler is batshit crazy. James Carey will forever be that goofy Riddler, but as far as Dano's Riddler, he makes my spine tingle.
