So for it’s working good , i agree that the seal was a pain in the butt I ran the seal under very warm water then it went in place much easier. Praying that I don’t have trouble with it. Thanks for sharing.
+@theresadanos9361 I’m glad that it worked out well for you! I want a quick way to can small batches. I might break down and spend the $$ for the Presto electric canner to try it out…
+@cherylmarshall3463 Hi Cheryl, I added the water as instructed. I even called the company and followed their instructions to test it and it failed. They told me it was an issue with the thermostat…
Mine did the same thing. The fuse blew . So very disappointed. Replaced the fuse and it did it again. Complete waste of money and a total piece of Junk!
Melanie, So sorry that happened to you too. There are people out there that appear to love Nesco. But I’m with you after my poor experience. It’s a lot of work to can when the equipment works and it’s a nightmare when it doesn’t. Do you plan to purchase another digital canner?
@organicoasis5690 No, I do not. I'm just going to continue to use my old tried and true Old school Presto canner. That way I do not have to worry about any type of equipment failure and have all of that time wasted as well as getting upset because of equipment failure
I recently bought this after much trepidation. I have used it twice with no issues, but now you have me rethinking this machine. 😄
You’re lucky that you haven’t had any issues. I wish that was the case for me. I wanted an easier way to can small batches😞

Yes, same with me! I’m sticking with my 23 qt. Presto! It’s also great for large batches.
