Great series! I'm in the process of putting 14" bars on my '95 Softail and these vids have been a massive help. A question I wanted to ask is if you know if the wire coming out of the handlebar turn signals is intermittent and goes directly to the lights or does it go from the signal switch to a flasher relay and then to the lights. The reason I ask is that I've toyed with the idea of putting a small flasher recessed into the bars.
I’m glad my videos have helped, that’s why I made them. On my 2012, when a turn signal switch is depressed, it sends a positive to the turn signal module located under the right side cover. The turn signal module sends the flashing signal to the lights. There is no “flasher” per say.
Funny you should ask. Ive recently been thinking about making a video demonstrating soldering wires and crimping on Deutsch or Molex pins. Sorry I haven’t done it yet but time is not an easy thing to come up with.
oczkowski8 three places to look for them off the top of my head. Eastern Performance, Dennis Kirk and J&P Cycles. I want to say I found a set without the pins pe-crimped on at Eastern Performance although I don't remember the brand. I've bought parts at all three of these parts sellers and had good experiences with all of them. Hope this helps.
