    Wow, another diamond video! This video showed diamonds, not before mentioned in other videos. I thoroughly enjoyed the history and commend you on your knowledge of gemstones. The voice used in this video was pleasant and, if I didn’t know better, might have thought it was your own. Excellent work!

    India has been called the golden bird by historians, and it has been looted and ruined for centuries.
    Best example Koh-i-Noor.
    The report also said that the diamond was 'taken away by the British' when Duleep Singh was just 10 Years old in 1849.

    Can we assume that all of your videos use electronically generated voices for the narration? The pronunciation of many of the words is exceptionally incorrect, and I cannot imagine that a genuine gem enthusiast would not know how to pronounce those words.

Whoever did this video just threw it together and every single diamond is mispronounced. If it isn’t a robot software, then if this person is going to actually do a video about important gems then they need to do some serious research especially on the pronunciation. Shameful.

    Andrew, this voice is better in this one than the "Pearls" narrator. . . but your narrators must learn to pronounce French names (it's "Loo-wee", NOT "Loo-wis, etc.) and even simple names like "Lahore" properly. Your narrators also need to take a breath. They go so fast without stopping. It is quite irksome to hear the non-English PROPER names NOT pronounced properly -- the way they should be in their language of origin.

    Incredibly interesting show - would be great if a bit of homework was done ahead of time to pronounce locations and persons properly. If this is a computerized voice, goodness, change it to a human who can describe the diamonds, origins and owners/buyers stories with the appropriate pronunciation. • @donwinn8551
    @donwinn8551 3 роки тому +2

    Ok, unfortunately, I have to revisit the narration issue again. While the computerized voice takes care of some of the pronunciation issues I mentioned earlier when you were still using your own voice, it has a somewhat tinny and robotic quality. More importantly, it has to do with authenticity. If the narrator’s voice is not your own voice, it casts a shadow of doubt over the rest of the video. Secondly, you really should pay attention to the correct pronunciation and spelling of foreign words. This type of error has a negative impact on the professionalism and quality control of the video. For example, Koh i Noor is pronounced “ˌkōēˈno͝or”, the “i” is not pronounced like the word “eye”. Maria Theresa is the correct spelling, not Maria Therisa. Thanks.

Be it dacoit Nadeer Shah of Iran, Various officers of East India Company , So called French or Dutch or Portugese Traders in India . All these Diamonds is STOLEN Property of India . The real history of source from Famous kolar mine of Golkanda in India is actually and conveniently not mentioned . The present owners have stolen property of India and are accomplice to crime committed centuries ago by owning q stolen property .

      Lamento saber que, às vezes, você coloca seu adversário nas primeiras semanas do vídeo, mas atualmente eles o fazem o tempo todo.

    EXCELLENT NARRATION. ALL THE FAMOUS INDIAN DIAMONDS ARE MENTIONED HERE . IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT INDIAN GOLCONDA DIAMONDS ARE THE PUREST , MOST BEAUTIFUL, AND MOST EXPENSIVE DIAMONDS IN THE WORLD AND SHINE THE BRIGHTEST EXCEPT THE CENTENARY DIAMOND AND MILLENIUM STAR DIAMOND.

      Thank you 🙏🏻. I can agree with that, or maybe i should do a separate video about India’s famous diamonds.

      PEOPLE MAY QUESTION YOU WHY YOU DID NOT INCLUDE THE CULLINAN DIAMOND. YOU CAN EXTEND THE VIDEO TO 15 DIAMONDS THAT INCLUDE THE CULLINAN. CENTENARY DIAMOND, MILLENIUM STAR DIAMOND AND THE NEW 302 CARATS LESEDI LA RONA. @@AndrewPidor

    It's a pity that you don't have someone who speaks English who can write the script for you. The machine-translated script (or perhaps it was written by a stroke victim) distracts from the video.
