@@imreschilk4793 i have had about Josephus from documentaries on the apostles but not read his articles. While he thought that he was just recording history, he has played such a crucial role in filling up the missing parts of the bible.
Both intriguing and sad. Though I knew of Masada, I had never heard of this place and know very little about Josephus. Another one I will be watching again. Thank you both.
Thank you very much for displaying what I always imagined when reading this passage. Now the picture is completely clear, I will soon see that place with my eyes. I am still hungry for the story of Judas Maccabees in the same format. Bless you 🇿🇦🤝🇮🇱🙏🙏🙏
I have seen many videos on Israel. This is the first time that I have seen one on Yodfat. I haven't many on Josephus either. I have seen a lot on Masada. Thank you for sharing. It's very interesting. 😊😊😊😊
An excellent overview of a place that I have visited during my years of IDF conscription. It is fitting that you published this video in the lunar month Tammuz, on the 4th day thereof, when Josephus was actually captured by the Romans and his life spared.
Nice tour.. learned a lot about an unknown subject.. Camera man is a rookie. When it comes to showing detail and info boards.. But it was fun nonetheless ...
Josephus is an interesting fellow... I have had a lot of questions about him and this answered a lot. Also, i noticed there are many mant thistles in these areas. I know they're mentioned in the Bible in reference to a change in topography due to the fall of Adam and Eve. It just always makes me feel the change from perfect to flawed.
A wonderful video! Why don't you tell us more about yourself? It's obvious that you've studied, where? Do you live nearby? Do you do lectures or tours, for us Tel Avivians?
uh so why did this video just come up after i was reading Josephus talking about Alexander being shown verses of Daniel and meeting the high priest beforehand
Josephus had access to all Roman documents even to the Pontius Pilate court records of the trial of Jesus in the 16th year of Tiberius which was 30 AD . That's why Josephus wrote about him all Roman records were kept in Alexandria but the library of documents were burnt in a fire. The chronology history of Jesus , Luke mentioned 15th year of Tiberius meaning including two years where two Emperor's were ruling being 12 AD so Lukes 15th year falls on 27AD and Jesus was 30 years old now taking away 27 from 1 equals 26 and to add 4 will make it 5 BC that year a comet was seen starting March the 10th for 70 days meaning ending May the 19th in Luke mentioned shepherds meaning Spring time . Josephus witnesses the destruction of the Second Temple in 70AD and lists all the treasures taken 123 tonnes of metal copper, bronze, silver, and gold all of the treasure was taken to Rome .

You quote from the traitor Josephus. Someday we will discover the lost works of Justus of Tiberius, and we'll find out the truth
