I was thinking of this as well, might be nice for a build that focusses more on monk. Just touched base with my dm, and yes, he will let me use this character to grapple two targets on my action, and each of my flurry of blows to smash the two dummies together.
Awesome combo! Ever since I made a 3rd ed Monk/Cleric/Sacred Fist character, I've loved combining Monk and Cleric. This build is pretty sweet. When I think grappler Monk, my brain follows your notes, but down the Naga Mercy Monk/Spores Druid, so you can lean into raising undead to help with the grappling, use your body as extra restrain option, and have poison immunity to lean into poison damage thematically with bites/hands of harm/Cloudkill. But total nod to this build that it's more effective overall, esp with the Twilight perks. I've been noodling around how to better optimize the Monk movement and Spirit Guardians, weaving in and out of enemies around the battlefield. Default was using a goblin to get the disengage/dash for free without Ki. But my main build now (if you allow the Amonkhet Domains) is a Sapphire Dragonborn/Way of Four Elements Monk/Zeal Domain Cleric, creating the Fire and Thunder God. The Dragonborn gives you an every round option to swap an attack action for your thunder breath weapon, which damages even on a save, and with the 6th level Zeal allows you for a 10 foot push on all those damaged with Thunder that's Large or smaller. So it's a 100% reliable AOE push option with no resource use, unless they are Huge or bigger. Now you can pop spirit guardians, and then use that plus Monk movement to run around and damage people up. And things just synergize so well over the levels: - Early on, can use concentration on Thunderous Smite for some extra fun/damage - Dragonborn 5th level flight gives your movement more flexibility to impact the battlefield with SG - Take Fangs of the Fire Snake to give you Fire reach options for attacking (one of the few ways Monks actually have to spike their damage, and you can stunning strike with that) - Use Priest of Zeal to get more attacks when you run out of Ki - You get proficiency in martial weapons to give you more Monk weapon options with Dedicated Weapon - Get to max fire/thunder damage with your channel divinity like if you crit with Fangs and blow extra Ki, or fling the fireball/flamestrike domain spell - Get divine strike as you level up your cleric to add some more damage per round.

Watched that Dungeon Dudes video. You and them are two of my favorite D&D channels. Really happy to watch this video from you. All of you give me ideas for characters and for DM'ing. Not necessarily the idea that you're talking about, but just thinking about a topic while listening to a video can spawn some great moments with my D&D friends group later on.
Love the amount of colbytent (content by colby) recently! You are so good at this UA-camry. I really admire your work-as a Dm of 8 years and a constant character creation addict this is my favorite channel
Need to remember to go here and like every video now that I've started to listen to the podcast version! Have you ever made a weapon master build? A character that can utilize any weapon any time at all ranges and situations? I think that would be cool!
I didn't know you made videos on how to play D&D! I ran a one shot recently and was looking for videos to give to my new players but couldn't find anything I was happy with. I'll definitely check them out right after this. Thanks Colby!
The range of grappling along with touch spells is the same as the range of unarmed Strikes so say you were a bugbear, the monk subclass you talked about, or even both that would modify the range of those things
Something I think could work really well here is two levels of stars Druid It works perfectly for the flavor obviously and if you use dragon form your grapples become wayy more consistent with the minimum 10 on wisdom checks, as well as improving you concentration massively which is helpful as a martial And you get all the awesome Druid spells and features!
I’m only through level 6 on your video and I’m already obsessed with this idea. I have this image of like a Jackie Chan type fighting style, where the character is using wisdom to grapple. So instead of headlocks and such, he’s using the opponents clothes, twisting them up and tying them up with their own shirts/belts/packs and then tripping them across the battlefield to do the same to their friends! So cool.
I love this video and build, I think it’s interesting because you discuss so many other things than “just damage” (although just dmg is still fun too), tactics are discussed, other abilities, support, visualization (really cool theme explanation!). I feel like this is one of your better builds lately, regardless of dmg tier, but I am no expert haha
Yes! I loved the astral self monk thematically. Super cool that you made it work even if it takes a while to come fully online, both level- and round-wise
Dang, this build has everything... and more importantly, unlike many other builds that boot multiple roles they fill, this one excels in the things it does too, insane. The only thing it doesn't "necessarily" have is, tankiness and... proficiency/utilities? Great job.
Thank you so much for making this video… a few days I had to surgery done to remove my gallbladder. As a healthy 20yr old male showing now symptoms of anything wrong, it was a really scary experience. After many hours in the hospital recovering, I was able to be discharged. It took me a long time to wake from anesthesia and even when I did it was only for a few minutes before I fell asleep again… most of the day I couldn’t tell what was real or a dream, but all I knew was I was tired and in pain. When I got home, I pretty much just put on the last video I was watching on my phone and passed out. I could never really tell how long I slept for because of the amount of pain meds I had, but I remember waking up once because I was singing.. I don’t even remember starting to sing it was like my subconscious heard the song and just started sing it. Growing up Disney’s Robin Hood, was my favorite classic cartoon. I would watch over and over again, even when I my parents thought it was getting a little old. But even in my most delirious mental state constantly being in between awake and asleep…. You were able to pull me back into reality, even for just a few minutes. Your calm and soothing voice helped me relax and release my anxiety.. right before I passed out for another few hours lol. I’m doing much better now (though still have lots of pain) and will definitely continue to watch more of your vids, you always put so much work into them and they always fun to listen to while I’m doing something else. Keep up the good work and I hope you have a wonderful life🫶
“I don’t make the rules, I just understand them” is what makes me excited for your 2024 D&D (One D&D) builds. The variable spellcasting ability for Warlocks, and being able to be a Wisdom Pact of the Blade??? Those martial clerics of yours are gonna have a ball.
I made a long dead monk peace cleric multiclass. A tank support with a lot of mobility. Ki point to evade and don't die, mixed with heals, buff and teleport to receive hits directed to my allies. Was really fun!!
Yes, I caught the scrolling title at 0:20 reading "#136: The Invisible Hypnotist". Whoops. You need more sleep. I'm curious how this build would do with a Stars druid instead, and have shillelagh cast on a staff. I'll admit that my first thought was a shadow monk/nature cleric and stick with beating people with the enhanced staff. Appreciate you ending the video saying we'll get through it if we're having a rough time because it's questionable that I will some days, especially this week. Haven't thought about the animated Disney Robin Hood movie for quite some time. Nice throwback. Definitely need to look at a "shoveling" build.
Geez.... wicked. I just love the type of character like this that can do so many things and has so much going on that it takes your brain running on all 12 Lamborghini cylinders to optimize while in game-play.
There's no such thing as too much Bluey. Even after your daughter starts doing pitch perfect Bluey screams because her sister won't quit being cheeky. Edit- and a Roger Miller sing along? S tier build
Grave cleric 6/Way of Mercy Monk 14. love this multiclass i made. you can be a reaper and help with emergency healing. start grave then speed to monk 5.
I adore this build. Also, I know you've done a bunch of bladesingers and you've stated your opinion on making more bloodhunter builds... Buuuuut I did just wanna point out that three levels of Profane Soul bloodhunter gets your bladesinger armor of agathys, eldritch blast, and hex, all while dumping charisma and keeping int and dex as your primaries. It's delicious, maybe my favourite gish, and I thought you'd wanna know if you don't already. Armor of agathys with int also means abjuration wizard synergizes very well.
If you're going to level 20 add in 3 levels of Stars Druid. On theme, gives you a handful of extra spells (Pass Without Trace, Shillelagh & free casts of Guiding Bolt in particular) plus your Dragon Constellation Form will help you keep up all those fun concentration spells you're planning on using (you wouldn't even have to make a check unless you took 40+ damage in a single hit) in addition to the simple utility of Wild Shape.
I love how this build could just not use the most OP part of Twilight cleric (channel div) and still make excellent use of the subclass just for the extra spells it provides. A ClonkF was something i didn't consider as a grappler but it makes so much sense and i'm here for it!
Great video as always, Colby! I was just about to rewatch the Grappler when you released this video! Can you clear something for me? In the monk tank video, you said long death was an option, but the Features would come out too late. Do you think that, if it was a level 20 one shot, it would be better/optimal to pick long death, instead of mercy, regarding tanking? Or, would you still stick with mercy? Thank you for your attention. Wish you the best!
Im currently playing an astral monk with a 1 level dip in arcana cleric because my character’s nickname is Spiritfists so I wanted access to some hand themed spells. Arcana cleric gave access to wizard cantrips like shocking grasp and chill touch but allowed me to use wisdom for them. Also got inflict wounds and cure wounds from the cleric lists
You just gave me an idea to do this with a Centaur + druid instead of cleric + drag them through Spike Growth. You can get a centaur up to speed 60 with monk + Longstrider and drag them half speed. (and you can dash and step of the wind for more dragging!) The damage seems like it would be higher than Moonbeam + attacking. (But of course there are plenty of other reasons why you might prefer Moonbeam + attacking). Damage-wise it hits the "ceiling" much earlier and never requires upcasting (so you can still use those high-level slots for high-level spells). Plus, Centaur + Astral Self + Stars Druid? How's that for flavor? 😉
Love this! Far from optimal, but would love to see other takes on monk/cleric. Zen blaster (light/radiant soul) dps and Road Runner peace/mercy) support dps come to mind 😊
In the recent one, they pointed out the Druid Monk and something crossed my mind: Shadow Monk/Spore Druid with a leaning towards a tank build? Maybe an idea? As always, great content, Kolby!
Great video as always, Colby! I’ve also been inspired by the Dudes multiclassing series and I’ve been toying with a support and control focused Divination Wizard 2/ Lore Bard x. I’m curious how you might build it. I think between Find Familiar, Portent, and Cutting Words the character is pretty stacked with controlling saves and rolls, but I’d love you ideas for spell selections and otherwise.
I think I have thought of a great backstory for this character. You are a humble soldier in the army of some powerful king who is in his conquest phase. You fight hard against someone in the battlefield who is just as skilled as you, your leather armor is cut, your rapier broken and you kill him with your bare fist. Then you collapse next to him, thinking you have died as well. In your comatose near death state you see a divine entity telling you that your hand is not to hold a sword, rather to heal the injured to strike the wicked. You come back to your sense seeing the aftermath of a battle fought days ago, you were thought and left for dead among other rotting corpse. Someone and something have brought you back. You get up, open and throw away your armor, bearing your king's sigil and walk away in rags. You keep walking around like a vagabond, doing odd-jobs or sometimes begging for food until one day you see a monastery, you walk in and you see a huge statue in the courtyard, it is of the same entity that came to you in a vision and turns out that fate has brought you to a temple dedicated to Him, his followers practice martial arts as part of their training. You tell your story to the High Priest/ Sensei who takes you in, tells you train here to forge your own destiny, to figure out why you were given this second chance
My favorite idea for a Cleric / Monk multiclass goes Light domain for 1 or 2 levels (I kinda like that big radiant anti-darkness blast but it isn't necessarily essential) and only takes a single level in Monk for the AC bump more than anything else, cause then I go into Stars Druid (the AC to workaround the armor limits, unless the DM likes the idea of meteoric iron being an exception for the Druid oaths for Stars druids in which case I'd skip Monk altogether unless I really wanted some other feature). If the character is a female elf noble, she's basically Zelda.
Huh, you know, I always glossed over Aura of Life unless I was sure I was going to be needing necrotic resistance, but the point about the healing at 0hp happening at the start of the ally's turn is a really good point!
Hello there, Love your content, I'm kinda new to the game, but thanks to you I learn pretty fast and I have some cool idea for multiclassing! I also love the sustain dpr build, and I was wondering if one build I just make would be a good one: For my build you have to be a level 5 astral self monk, a level 3 spore druid and a level 12 hexblade warlock, you also have to take the feat "fighting initiate" and take the unarmed fighting fighting style. With the astral self monk you could attack 4 time and use your wisdom modifier for your attack, with the spore druid you can 1d6 to your damage roll with your symbiotic entity, with hexblade warlock you can add your proficiency bonus to your damage roll, and with the feat you can add 1d4 to your damage roll if you have someone grappled (this might not be true, I see some conflicting information about this). With warlock you also have eldritch invocation, you'll have to take "life drinker" to add your charisma modifier to your damage roll, "superior pact weapon" to add 2 to your attack and damage roll, and sign of ill omen to unlock bestow curse to add 1d8 to your damage roll(if you cast it with a level 5 slot, it doesn't require concentration). you could also take "eldritch smite", but that's technically not sustain damage. And finally with warlock you also have the "hex" spell to add 1d6 to your damage roll (plus you can add a disadvantage to strength check, so it is easier to grapple). So ideally, with one attack with your fist you could make 1d8 (damage of your fist) + wisdom or charisma mod (damage of your fist) + 1d6 (symbiotic entity) + 1d4 (feat) + proficiency bonus (hexblade) + charisma mod (lifedrinker) + 2 (superior pact weapon) + 1d6 (hex spell) + 1d8 (bestow curse spell). And with monk, you could make 4 attack, so this could be really strong I think. Like I said, that's ideal, but there are some inconvenience: your unarmed weapon must be considered as a pact weapon and for your hexblade warlock, you'll need to discuss this with your DM I think. It is slow, if my math is correct, you have to take 3 turns just to prepare everything, usually the fight is over then. You can cast "bestow curse" just once every long rest. And it is MAD, thanks to your video I realise you can take astral self monk to use wisdom for your attack and strength check, so it help, but you need at least charisma and wisdom for this build to be good. Thanks for reading it all, I didn't mean to be this long 😁😅 (also, sorry if bad english)
I want to see a Hoopak build, as it's perfect for SAD build, works great with magic stone and shillellagh, counts as a finnesse polearm (reaction sneak attack) and is severly underused. Colby, you like making builds with odd weapons. This 1 has your name ALL OVER IT. Make 1 please.
PSA: Stunned targets are also Incapacitated, which automatically fail Grapple/Shove contests. This means that if we are Grappling 2 enemies and stun a third, ANY ally on our team can walk up and also Grapple/Prone this target. Moving extra targets through Moonbeam is way better than a cantrip if trying to preserve resources on a caster. It's also often more potent than a non-SS/GWM/Sneak Attack hit. Just having more actions sharing the load of pinning targets down before the Stun wears off is also great. Wizard knocks em over. We or another hands free ally grapples them in place. Nearby allies can often move up, shove/grapple a square, and get back to their position without having to stay at the front lines. This can also work for Spirit Guardians. If the Monk Stuns something, finish our attacks and then back 15ft away from it. Let allies run the train on dragging the helpless target in and out of the AoE's perimeter every turn. Grapples don't have to be maintained. Let go at any time on/off turn. The Monk being able to provide all these spells AND Stuns is truly special. There will be hopefully more spells from the team or hazards on the map. Like a good cliff the Rogue can push monsters off even if it's far away with Cunning Action Dash. Stars Druid is another fun combo here in place of Cleric to get additional Grappling goodies like Create Bonfire, Longstrider, Jump, Spike Growth, and Enlarge Reduce. This is an excellent alternative if you don't want to water down the levels with multiclassing Fighter. Straight to Astral 5 / Stars X. Maybe pump to Monk 8 in time. Evasion is still amazing, and sporting Dex save proficiencies again helps lubricate its performance. Dragon Form constellation handles concentration checks for us. Faster Monk and Spell progression. Losing Unarmed Fighting isn't that bad since Monks are nice in Tier 1, and will deliver similar damage in Tier 2. Significantly more at level 5. Could still bring Rune Knight in later if you really want Action Surge and Giant's Might to get up to even Huge size, and no immediate grappling restrictions.
I was really hoping for a Sun Soul and Life domain multiclass. Level 5 of each could do 4 radiant sun bolts with spirit shroud amassing a lot of damage.
I just had a talk with my DM regarding the whole double-dipping with lingering AoEs, and it's now on the table (we did kinda have to wrap our heads about the fiction of it, but it's fine). However, something that _would_ poke a hole in this build is the notion that you can drag a creature into a Moonbeam without entering yourself. Dragging rules are very sparse in the books, but if I were to rewrite them into something gameable, it would be this: "You can move 5 feet and spend an additional 5 feet of your movement to have a creature trail behind you, entering the space you just left." The kind of "dragging" Colby describes here sounds more like a Shove (the 5-foot knockback version) to me. People often rule otherwise, but I would be more comfortable with those rulings if they had _any_ text supporting them. The kind of "dragging" people usually use is quite involved, and doesn't align with what the text says. For it to work, it should read something like: "You can spend 5 feet of movement to move a grappled creature 5 feet in any horizontal direction, provided it would end this movement within 5 feet of you. Alternatively, you may spend 10 feet of movement to move both yourself and the grappled creature 5 feet in any horizontal direction, but you must both end this movement within 5 feet of each other." This would allow a grappler to "rearrange" where an enemy is standing, and even sumo-push them backwards, and it sounds great but... that's just not in the books.
If you wanted to go to the multi limb, route to get grappling throlreem could probably fit the bill on the story aspect, seeing as how they’re from the astral sea
Who ARE we shoveling? Who are we shoveling indeed... Okay, now I'm really itching for a build that mimics Shovel Knight. There're so few D&D characters that make use of verticality and falling for additional attack options.
With that high wisdom wouldn’t be nice to get shillelagh and/or Magic Stone and/or Green flame blade? They can add your SAM and damage to some extra damage or provide ranged damage
i know your goal here was to make a monk/cleric build but i really think this fighter/monk shell you made blossoms with druid and their spike growth. circle of stars is the obvious choice both thematically and mechanically. you could also consider taking a couple rogue levels for a bonus action dash to drag dudes even harder. since spike growth doesn't upcast, you might consider taking less caster levels and more monk levels to get more ki points and faster movement speed.
For the Twilight haters out there -- I like a form of this build that subs in Stars Druid for the cleric levels. Yeah, not as powerful, but massively cool in concept. Also -- fitting in Tavern Brawler seems pretty dope for the tactics.
I need you to take on another Dungeon Dudes challenge! They gave my Druid/Warlock multiclass a D rank! I've managed to bring a budget Cheese Grater online at just level 5 with 2 levels Dao Warlock (plus crusher)and 3 levels Stars Druid. I'm a blasting machine moving enemies all over the place.
Wrong Intro Scroll! Curse you, editing brain!

Did I hear gauntlet?! What are you talking about? I'm totally down!
Gauntlet! Gauntlet!

Wisdom based grapple with a minimum of a 10 roll could be insane

And things just synergize so well over the levels:
- Early on, can use concentration on Thunderous Smite for some extra fun/damage
- Dragonborn 5th level flight gives your movement more flexibility to impact the battlefield with SG
- Take Fangs of the Fire Snake to give you Fire reach options for attacking (one of the few ways Monks actually have to spike their damage, and you can stunning strike with that)
- Use Priest of Zeal to get more attacks when you run out of Ki
- You get proficiency in martial weapons to give you more Monk weapon options with Dedicated Weapon
- Get to max fire/thunder damage with your channel divinity like if you crit with Fangs and blow extra Ki, or fling the fireball/flamestrike domain spell
- Get divine strike as you level up your cleric to add some more damage per round.

UA-camry is an amazing word haha
Colby, you are a gem. So are the dungeon dudes (I'm really enjoying their series that inspired you here).
Thanks for all your great content!
Need to remember to go here and like every video now that I've started to listen to the podcast version!
Have you ever made a weapon master build? A character that can utilize any weapon any time at all ranges and situations? I think that would be cool!
Will have to put it on the to do list!
Colby really out here proving he is the unchallenged Master of the Multiclasses.
This "you can get through this" is really helpful this week 😅 thanks Colby
As a person that loves playing clerics, I got to say... Ohhh myyy! ❤
Something I think could work really well here is two levels of stars Druid
It works perfectly for the flavor obviously and if you use dragon form your grapples become wayy more consistent with the minimum 10 on wisdom checks, as well as improving you concentration massively which is helpful as a martial
And you get all the awesome Druid spells and features!
My first ever character was a cleric/monk hybrid and it was spectacular! So glad you did this one!
Great video! Love clerics, so cleric multi-classes are my favorites!
Yes! I loved the astral self monk thematically. Super cool that you made it work even if it takes a while to come fully online, both level- and round-wise
I love your talkings in video end and start. Chanel growing fast and I am happy about this.
Dang, this build has everything... and more importantly, unlike many other builds that boot multiple roles they fill, this one excels in the things it does too, insane. The only thing it doesn't "necessarily" have is, tankiness and... proficiency/utilities? Great job.
Damn, hitting us with some classic Country, Colby? Excellent.
Great build! Thanks so much Colby!
Awesome build, Colby!
Once again, came for the build and stayed for the singing. Great job on both!
Keep up the good work and I hope you have a wonderful life🫶
This really warmed my heart to read. Thanks so much for the kind words :). Glad to hear that you’re recovering - I hope you’re back on your feet soon!
47:39 I love the idea of cosmic deflect missiles
amazing concept, thank you so much I really want to try out this one!!!
TGIT! Thanks as always Colby!
Geez....
Glad to the restraint on your part by keeping your video length under an hour haha Can't wait to watch.
I was cutting furiously!
Wow! this is so cool! I think this will be the first monk i will play!
I've been hard brainstorming a Monk-Cleric for a week now, so I'm VERY excited to see what Colby says in this video (it's like he read my mind)
Love the use of vicious mockery in the dealdash ad lol
You are great and an amazing person. Thank you.
Awesome build as always
If you're going to level 20 add in 3 levels of Stars Druid. On theme, gives you a handful of extra spells (Pass Without Trace, Shillelagh & free casts of Guiding Bolt in particular) plus your Dragon Constellation Form will help you keep up all those fun concentration spells you're planning on using (you wouldn't even have to make a check unless you took 40+ damage in a single hit) in addition to the simple utility of Wild Shape.
Colby, you rock the Planet, DUDE☮️😎🎟️🎟️🎟️
I love how this build could just not use the most OP part of Twilight cleric (channel div) and still make excellent use of the subclass just for the extra spells it provides. A ClonkF was something i didn't consider as a grappler but it makes so much sense and i'm here for it!
Always love your videos! I’m wondering if you could do a build around steel wind strike as its my fav spell.
This is such a cool character concept
Great video as always, Colby! I was just about to rewatch the Grappler when you released this video! Can you clear something for me? In the monk tank video, you said long death was an option, but the Features would come out too late. Do you think that, if it was a level 20 one shot, it would be better/optimal to pick long death, instead of mercy, regarding tanking? Or, would you still stick with mercy? Thank you for your attention. Wish you the best!
I’d still stick with mercy, personally :)
@@DnDDeepDive Thank you! 👍
Nice build my friend! I reckon that would be a blast to play 😂
Love these cleric builds!
That was the most invisible hypnotist I've never seen!
Like and comment prior to watch it cos I know he's never disappointing! Let's go!
Opening card still says invisible hypnotist
Gah! Curse you editing brain!
My thoughts on this multi class was a friar build, but it needs tweaking and a flexible dm. Smite on a monk sounds great to me
Woohoo! Fun shenanigans!
Hello there,
Love your content, I'm kinda new to the game, but thanks to you I learn pretty fast and I have some cool idea for multiclassing!
I also love the sustain dpr build, and I was wondering if one build I just make would be a good one:
For my build you have to be a level 5 astral self monk, a level 3 spore druid and a level 12 hexblade warlock, you also have to take the feat "fighting initiate" and take the unarmed fighting fighting style.
Like I said, that's ideal, but there are some inconvenience:
your unarmed weapon must be considered as a pact weapon and for your hexblade warlock, you'll need to discuss this with your DM I think.
I find it hilarious how I was just looking for a grappler build exactly like this one but with a simic hybrid instead of a half-elf
thanks colby. this is perfect for my current character
I won the initiative
Ahhhh my 17 ain’t bad
Ah, it would seem I rolled a 12.

But you used your action to post a comment, so...
@@GeminiLibra73 unless youre a thief rogue:)
Clerics and monks are clunks 😂
I had a gestalt campaign with a buddy where I was a Cleric Monk and he was a Barbarian Monk.
We were ... CLONK and BONK
I love this build, but my favourite Cleric/Monk MC is still Shadow with a touch of Twilight.
Who ARE we shoveling? Who are we shoveling indeed... Okay, now I'm really itching for a build that mimics Shovel Knight. There're so few D&D characters that make use of verticality and falling for additional attack options.
Using falling mechanics? So are we adding barbarian in as well?
I love, love, love that Robin Hood
With that high wisdom wouldn’t be nice to get shillelagh and/or Magic Stone and/or Green flame blade? They can add your SAM and damage to some extra damage or provide ranged damage
What's SAM?
@@johannesstephanusroos4969 Spell Ability Modifier. Sorry English is my second language so I mix stuff 😅
@@PointySword No, you're not wrong, just didn't know which acronym you meant
Who are we shoveling had me in stitches 😂😂
i know your goal here was to make a monk/cleric build but i really think this fighter/monk shell you made blossoms with druid and their spike growth. circle of stars is the obvious choice both thematically and mechanically. you could also consider taking a couple rogue levels for a bonus action dash to drag dudes even harder. since spike growth doesn't upcast, you might consider taking less caster levels and more monk levels to get more ki points and faster movement speed.
You need to make a sing-songy character (doesn't necessarily have to be a bard!) so we can hear more of those dulcet runs in one sitting!
"another dungeon dudes video came out"
Me ~ `likes and subscribes for the wholesome back n forth`
For the Twilight haters out there -- I like a form of this build that subs in Stars Druid for the cleric levels. Yeah, not as powerful, but massively cool in concept. Also -- fitting in Tavern Brawler seems pretty dope for the tactics.
Now I Can’t wait to see what Druid build you come up with. Lol.
I need you to take on another Dungeon Dudes challenge! They gave my Druid/Warlock multiclass a D rank! I've managed to bring a budget Cheese Grater online at just level 5 with 2 levels Dao Warlock (plus crusher)and 3 levels Stars Druid. I'm a blasting machine moving enemies all over the place.
playing a monk 6 / cleric 6 right now and can confirm, it is sick as hell to be doing monk stuff in the middle of spirit guardians
This would be fun to do a high lvl one shot with. I dunno if I would run a long campaign with it. The theme is super cool
