Mikhail Gnessin - Piano Trio, Op. 63 (1943)

Mikhail Fabianovich Gnessin (Russian: Михаил Фабианович Гнесин; sometimes transcribed Gnesin; 2 February [O.S. 21 January] 1883 - 5 May 1957) was a Russian Jewish composer and teacher. Gnessin's works The Maccabeans and The Youth of Abraham earned him the nickname the "Jewish Glinka".

Wunderschöne und detaillierte Interpretation dieses spätromantischen und fein komponierten Trios im veränderlichen Tempo mit seidigem doch gut phrasiertem Ton der Violine, tiefem Ton des Violoncellos und klarem Klang des Klaviers. Die intime und perfekt entsprechende Miteinanderwirkung zwischen den drei Virtuosen ist wahrlich ergreifend. Einfach wunderbar!
