Played the game myself. Feels more like an arena shooter rather than an objective based hero shooter like Overwatch. There were only 5 or so heroes available in closed beta but some rare cards were already rising as OP which gave people who've played longer have an advantage in terms of unlocking cards, similar to Paladins at a point. These are just preliminary observations from playing a few hours.
The real question is how p2w will this be since the cards are not small bonus but a fucking active skill. If they make certain skills flat out better in terms of damage and area, later making it rare drop/card it will be just another games where whales reign supreme. Magic the Gathering allows you to build decks with common cards. They are balanced. Now let's see how balanced theirs will be.
Bro personally I dont think they would put the rare card in this cause this game still have some FPS elecment and the gameplay would focus on shooting instead of playing cards and stuff like that. There will be limitations of the card deck since is a skill and support the play style, character can counter each other and of course team work
+Yuri Gagarin i dont know that man, p2w really ? after all what they have done to warframe this has potential to beat overwatch dont they know what happened to battleborn
+Duy Đặng Potential to beat Overwatch? HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Thx man that was a good laugh, i needed that. The only way to "beat" overwatch is by making overwatch 2 lul. Let me make this real simple for you: Cards are your active SKILLS, BUFFS and WEAPONS - > They SELL the cards, the whole game is based around the cards, beside them all you get is a generic skill (like a shitty turrent for exemple that can only be upgraded by using cards) and a pistol (or whatever weapon your guy got), then the cards improve your skills and give you different weapons, CARDS AFFECT GAMEPLAY, they are not just cosmetics and if you can buy the currency that gets you cards, or a 1000$ founder pack that straight up gives you 100k currency to buy all the cards in the game day one im pretty sure that constitutes pay2win because you are literally buying stronger weapons and buffs that a free player will have to grind days if not weeks for. Does not matter what they did for warframe, WF is a PVE game, even if they sold permanent power buffs or whatever it would never be pay to win cuz there is nobody to win against.
Milen Evgeniev Where? I myself have 200 plat (Because I spend most of it already) and I got all of it without spending a dime. And I have more primed framed then normal ones, so that is not the the problem...Oh and I have more then enough cosmetics and colours. So yeah I can enter real end-game (Fashionframe) and yet I never spent any money

+Yuri Gagarin thanks for your insights
is this from gearbox?
hey don't insult gearbox, this game is garbage
Immediately I see this being paid to win. Like horribly.
F
They have changed the name on worse.
oh another Pay to win game
You either pay for the 1000$ pack or you loose every game :D :D im not kidding there is 1000$ pack
Lol it will probably be unabalanced as fuck
Also.. f2p? Im out
j1mf34r Well it's made by few of the game companies that actually does F2P well...So not sure about that mate
Warframe is not very free to play friendly even the opposite and im saying this as veteran who have 3K+ hours in the game.
