Puppies 4 weeks old +up: Puppies will eat food (kibble) mixed in warm boiling water, food becomes solid soon
-Start potty training by putting a clear tray over so newspaper won't shred as playpen train
-natural for noodle to stay away at this stage
-expose pups outdoors and other parts of house, snuggle and socialize
-potty train d pup we're keeping extra well lol
-clip puppy nails early!
-prepare deworming and weight checkups vet schedule from 6-8 weeks (have fun!)

We have a four-week-old puppy (I know, it's bad, but their mom was starting to attack them and the food they were getting weaned to was crap. I have two close people with her siblings, and I'll be taking her over to play every day that I possibly can)...I want to be able to take her outside, but the fleas in the area are pretty thick and absolutely everywhere. Is there something I can safely put on her to keep them off?

I'm looking forward to getting maybe a chocolate lab retriever? So, can you please reply back if that's a good choice? I'm really not sure. My family doesn't wanna get a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, but it's a great choice for all of our standards. Which pup should I get?
A rescue! Please get a rescue puppy, there are tons of puppies in rescue organizations, jut be a little patient!

My puppy has a cold from bottle feeding and she keeps inhaling the mush food I give her same with the water she sticks her whole nose in it and breathes deeply she is 5 weeks old now and I’m getting super worried. I would like to completely switch her to puppy food and off the bottle to mitigate aspiration but it isn’t helping that she sticks her whole face in it continually.

"slowly increase the time she spends away." My mama had 13 babies and stopped feeding them more than 10 minutes twice a day at 2 weeks. It's been a non stop issue for 2 weeks now, and she gets legit mad if she has to nurse them at all, but will run in and check on them or eat their poops.

my vet said de wormers aren’t necessary unless mother has worms. but i’ve always been taught to take them to get de wormed. anyone know why???
Good afternoon Aubree Kane: At around 6min 30sec into the video the narrator says that the most common worms are passed from the mother's milk to the litter.
I've also been told that de-worming a puppy was something that was mandatory not optional.
KC yeah my vet said unless mom has worms there is no need to.

@@thedalmatianpack she will gain weight quite alot and her nipples will get bigger if you cant tell visit the vet. I thought my dog was having a phantom pregnancy until she started giving birth
@@thedalmatianpack Dogs can have false pregnancy symptoms. You can go in for a pregnancy ultrasound after 28 days from when breeding occurred. If your dog is further along, then abdominal growth should be noticeable. You can also do an x-ray once a girl is at least 56 days past breeding. Puppy bones would be evident on the x-ray at that point, but not before then.
@@ThePracticalPuppy Hi Thanks for Replying back to me. My dog Mated last month February in the beginning the first week. Right now her nipples are pretty big, her lower belly is slightly big but its not really noticeable. So I'm Not sure if it's a Real or False pregnancy

What happened?
I know this is an older comment, but you likely found out that 5 weeks is way too young to get a puppy. They need to stay with mom and siblings until 8 weeks. Even 7 weeks is too young I have found. I hope you made it through okay
