I am ordering one soon. My truck started acting up about 2 months ago... defroster wouldn't turn on right. had to play with the touch screen about 5 times to get it to work. Next a few weeks later the air would only come out of the floor vents...no panel,,and no defrost. I got 2 new actuator motors, replaced them behind the dash. Turned the truck on FIXED !! for ONE time.. It literally worked perfect, i let the truck run, let the auto A/C do its thing.. ran it for 15 minutes, and i was smiling, until i shut it off and went to drive it an hour later. and i was right back to where i started. Then over the next few weeks it would randomly work fine like once a week, SO i knew the actuators WERE working. Today i disconnected the AC control module, and the battery. FIXED !! for ONE time again. Then back to the same broken, only on the floor. SO this time i pulled the glove box out, disconnected ONLY the A/C control for 2 minutes, plugged it back and FIXED again. SO i feel pretty strongly that i narrowed down the issue. its the control module.

Did it work when you replaced it or did you need to sync anything?
This was my same question. The mechanic told me these need to be programmed to the truck. Is that true?
