A great update. Despite Chris always demonstrating his phenomenal technical skills and all of us giving him hundreds of compliments all the time, let’s all put our hands together for Rob’s extraordinary gift of being able to find a regular supply of “sows ears” for Chris to do his magic on, creating endless numbers of “silk purses” hence jointly creating the profit that SRUK clearly makes. I really admire these two men. 👏
I've been watching SRUK for a couple of years now, give or take. This was my favourite video - by far. Having witnessed Chris's mechanical genius from afar via UA-cam, and the way he is such a gentleman with it, he deserves all good things which come his way. The current and on-going changes are part of that. Love the pair of these lads and hopefully SRUK - and this UA-cam account - can go from strength to strength with all this progression.
Lovely to see how far Chris has come in terms of being in front of the camera. Who knew the shy man was an absolute genius in everything he does.Robs none too shabby either you can tell everything has to be done properly. Quite the dream team. Keep it up fellas , this is one awesome channel. 🎉🎉🎉
Lots of impatient people not realising how hard it is to update the facilities while still turning over cars and videos to keep the business going. Great work as always guys, definitely one of the best channels on YT.
Chris's dad must of been a great bloke and taught his boy the true meaning of hard graft and by passing on his own knowledge. Love watching your videos and all updates. Great work to you both.
Chris is bang on with he’s comments on recruiting decent people. It’s very hard and making a nice work environment should certainly help retain staff. Good luck guys!
How things have changed, when I first joined the channel Chris was rarely on camera and even less rarely said anything, this vid almost all Chris. Nice one guys. Keep doing what you’re doing.
I didn’t think when I started watching you guys, that a few years down the line I’d also be interested in your yard improvements as well! Keep up the good work 😊
Excellent philosophy about how to attract decent staff and hang on to them, spot on. Too many people just look at the up front costs and not the long term gain of good employees.
Hi Rob and Chris, nice update..!!! Can tell a lot of hrs and graft gone in there. Brilliant to see you guy's growing and planning, keep us updated.. Alex
Wonderful material and an impressive update, guys. I couldn't help but notice a minor matter, which I assume you're already addressing. Given that this is a functional space where the potential for falls from elevated surfaces, be it an excavation or a low parapet, exists, it's important to implement preventive measures. Installing fall protection mechanisms like guardrails or sturdy barriers to restrict access to such areas would be a prudent step to ensure safety and protect yourselves from the stupid. Please nobody jump on me I am not the safety police gone mad, just a suggestion.
Do people really give you that much grief in the comments? Blimey, you've more patience than me, I'd be telling them to do one, rather than producing another good video...
Chris you are a legend, the effort you have put into the yard is incredible, If there were more hardworking people like you and Rob out there, the country would be in better shape. Well done guys, it’s going to look amazing when it’s finished.
If you could find the corrugated polystyrene looking insulation ive seen recently that fits perfectly in the sides and roof of the container, probably expensive but tidy👍🏻
Never mind "selfish" Chris, you're not being selfish at all. You two work bloody hard and deserve to be able to prioritise what matters in your lives, the Morris Commercial matters most to you Chris and you own this business so you do you. You two are brilliant at what you do and long may it continue
Chris has come on from the early days when he didn't want to speak or feature in the video's, to now when he has his own insta gram channel and is quite happy to disclose all sorts about his life. that is the power of the internet I guess !
nothing wrong in future proofing! the way the car industry is going, very wise to incorperate a spray booth for cost.....also guys space is a premium!!! so well done great heads up....all this hard work will pay off.....also now and then we might get to see Chrises projects done along the way!..... all the best guys! cheers!
Brilliant job Chris, the future is looking bright, very well done! Maybe if Chris saw these comments he would get a new workshop clock!! 😚. Well done guys...
Rob you said that some people may not bother with this because it's not a car video. You and Chris have devoloped much more than just a car channel it's a people channel and a lot of the followers are here to see the interaction between you two not just the spannering. Impressive work once again and a great but somewhat fluid plan for the future. Well done.
For me watching this channel is as much about you 2 and your plans as it is the projects on wheels, great video and appreciate such a detailed update can't wait to see it all finished
At the end of the day guys this is your business and we all know making the videos earns you money .but we all get to see how you buy and repair the cars , in a way that is enjoyable and very instructive to us .Nice to see these development and improvements you are making ,many thanks .
Clearly you are both perfectionists, the work undertaken at the yard looks good and clearly will help your business. Your combined knowledge and your obvious enthusiasm is a treat to see. Have you considered taking on an apprentice?.........
Little known fact. Chris’s great great grandad actually built the Eiffel Tower in ten days. From a job lot of left over steel from the Clifton suspension bridge.
Hi Rob. Have to say the pair of you put in some serious graft but Chris is on another level. The time and effort he puts in is unreal, and its done to perfection. Hats off 😄
Guys you guys are good chriss brain is better then a wizard , i was in your 1st 100 subscribers and whatched every single episode and everyone has just got better and better well done guys 👍👍👍
It looks like Chris has set out to build a one man industrial estate. A quality build in every aspect. Hopefully the right painter will come along and add some good qualities to the team. Cheers for the update on things and keep up the good work.
There's a spray foam to insulate that. We recently made a shop/cafe out of 2 40 footers. Then lined with aluminium bubble wrap and ply on a frame. Works really well. Left uninsulated, it will sweat.
I’ve only been watching you guys for the last year, but what an impressive team you are! I’m 43 too and wish I was as dedicated and fit like you two are. Don’t worry about comments on here, there’s no one doing the work like you guys.. I do like the yard updates, but any video is always at the top of my watch list! Keep it up, and great work!
Wow. These changes will no doubt make both your lives much easier. I'm currently in the make hay whilst the summer is still here mindset too, depressing to think autumn and then winter is just around the corner though. Another great video guys.
Amazed at the improvements made in such a short time. Looking forward to seeing the Morris. Don't overdo it but if you have a couple of spare weekends Network Rail has a railway line called HS2 which needs building...
I know I threw in a silly comment but massive respect for this piece of civil engineering. May be a daft idea but a couple of solar panels on the roof could be great for keeping the batteries in the vehicles maintained. Bigger panels above the roof would also keep the sunlight off it a bit.
Loved this video , something different but also something many will enjoy watching the progress your both making on your whole set up in and out the workshop and in the long run it will make even better content for your channel , keep up the great work
When you look back at early videos and how you guys have evolved and grown the business so well, and the hard work you both put into every project. I only wish other businesses had the same resolve and vision that you guys do to put so much thought and effort into your futures and the future of your business. Can’t give you guys enough support….
Great update. I love that everything is straight, plumb and level, it looks makes a good job look better. I would recommend closed cell spray foam for the container ceiling. R-7 per inch. Greetings from Ontario.
Chris is a master at whatever he turns his hands to. Incredible work as always. Have the government thought of hiring him to build some of the major infrastructure projects??
Rob & Chris, what a great job you are doing. we sometimes have a 40ft container come in with our products in, they are big. really enjoy all your videos, be it car, work equipment or yard related.
Agree with all the comments really brilliant I do a delivery near Sheerness docks quite often as been following your progress since early days always thinking of you both when in the area well done 👏
I could hardly CONTAIN my excitement at seeing this video. My goodness Chris does put some effort and hours into his week. The ideas are brilliant and there is a huge improvement in the appearance and the facilities. Well done guys. It would be interesting to know what that work would have cost in Chris had employed a company to do it. Excellent video chaps. Cheers, Bob
Your channel has to be one of the most interesting and entertaining channels out there its always a pleasure to watch the videos and see what you two are up to. I have told you fellas once before that its a absolute delight to know that there are a couple of ordinary guys who takes so much pride in the work they do. My boss when I was an apprentice plumber always instilled in me that it don`t matter whether the pipework gets boxed in and never seen again, it must be bang on level or plumb. This dogma has served me well over the years but alas I have had to give up the job I love due to ill health. Anyway guys I`m at a loose end now so if you need a brewer up on a part time basis, I`m your man. Keep up the stirling work you guys make me proud to be British.
Thanks for the look around guys, great to see the transformation and a glimpse into the future of Salvage Rebuilds. I'm enjoying being along for the ride and watching all the top quality work you do. Keep the videos coming. Yours in anticipation; John.
Chris is a thinker, I am not saying you're not Rob but he has really thought it all through. I agree you need the right environment to bring someone into then there is more chance that they will stay. I am so glad that Chris's projects will be getting some attention once these upgrades are complete. Yes I would line the roof and sides if possible but bear in mind of course that lining the sides will slightly reduce the width so find something which is thin but does the job. You and we can now see the end of this upgrade is in sight. Thank you Rob and Chris for this update. 👍👍
I'm no expert but on the container for storing Chris' cars, would some sort of ventilation fan or something be a good idea? And hats off to Chris he's done a massive remodeling of that yard space! an he's right a good work environment means a happy employee for sure 😊
Great news to hear Chris is getting near to working on the Morris Truck soon. The yard will look amazing when finished ( if Chris has no other ideas that is) you two are a breath of fresh air to see how well you work as a team. Best wishes to you both.
Thanks for the update guys, it's going to make so much difference and that's one hell of a transformation of the 'yard'....Loved seeing the container chap at work...where I used to work we hired 12 x 40 foot containers and the accuracy which those guys can park the containers on their own is great to watch....👍👍Look forward to seeing some progress on Chris's projects!
Great video. Shows the amazing amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to keep the business looking forward. If I lived anywhere close to you I’d volunteer to work for you for nowt.
Chris is a man after my own heart, he runs a clean tidy ship, if you have sloppy work practices and untidy work areas you get sloppy workmanship, both you Rob and Chris have become accomplished presenters. 😁 I think the new setup is going to have a big positive impact on the business, all the best for the future gents.
I love how you guys have planned for future and I think the expansions especially the paint booth will make life easier for you both and continue to grow your business & the channel- well done to you both it’s looking lovely ❤
Ive seen yard improvements in the Pharma industry costing hundreds of thousands and the quality/design of Chris's refurb beats everything I've seen. I also watch Ashville and I think Daniel should get Chris to redesign his Aggregate railway/truck yard to the same standard. Chris's the GOAT!
That was a superb video Rob, Chris is an civil engineer as well, what a fantastic job he has done in the yard, and everything meticulously worked out. Wow, just wow, absolutely amazing. Credit where it’s due! 👏✊👍
The building work is coming along well, I like the idea of having an on site paint booth. Well done Rob and Chris, it will be exciting to see the plans become reality❤.
Brilliant update guys, thank you. Well impressed with the improvements and Chris’s vision. Really look forward to your videos guys, long may they continue 👍
Great channel update 👍 things take as long as it takes, why are people so impatient. Most importantly glad it's going to give Chris the opportunity to do done of his projects in the background. You've both worked really hard on the business and it's clear that it is paying off in spades 👏
Hi Rob and Chris, I have been watching the channel from the very start, Chris has gone from a camera-shy Meister/Craftsman to a first-class reporter in front of the camera. I feel the overall theme of you channel is not only the cars but everything about what makes the job you and Chris do possible. I am in Germany, and I have a few my mates here infected with your program. And they never miss a show. Keep up the good work a I/we look forward to your 300,000 subscribers it not far away now! All the best Peter. Radevormwald Germany.
I’m so happy for you both as it’s all coming together.more space is what you need with all of the car your doing makes sense all what you have done Chris to the land you need to be proud of yourself mate I don’t know anyone that does what you do outstanding job Chris and you Rob all the help and support you give Chris this is the best UA-cam channel I absolutely love it keep up your great work guys👏🏻🫶🏻👏🏻
Chris is like my ex boss anything needs doing mechanical, electrical, computers, building nothing would stop him and usually on his own. He was also the man who did our wages ran the office. Few people like this about.
Chris s talents still amaze me . Absolutely fantastic update video, yard is looking so tidy and organized now guys be fantastic filming in the yard in the summers. Thankyou so much guys for the updates.
the yard looks good i take my hat of to chris and you rob with the container i would insulate the roof of the container can,t wait to seewhat else you both have in store for the yard looks great .
I was a Civil Engineer all my life before I retired in 2018 and I worked with some great men, but Chris’s abilities are on a par with their’s, and in some cases above them. PS, he us also pretty skilled at repairing cars. Thank you to you both in keeping us entertained with the videos of your working lives 👍🇬🇧😎
great variation from the cars etc,one day how about a 5 minute story on how you both got together, just an idea, for those of us who only started watching in the last couple of years, think it would interest lots of viewers.
What would the possibility be of some before and after pictures of this area..so we can get the full picture of just how much work has been done in that area?
Got to say Chris is doing a fantastic job with the yard and love his attention to detail and ensuring it will last for years to come. Spray booth is going to streamline your process no end and from watching all your videos painting the vehicles is always your bottleneck so it's so logical to get it onsite. Rob you'll have get Chris do you a little detailing bay for cleaning the vehicles 😂
Best of luck, Chris and Rob, I like the 'fluid plan' and hope that you go from strength to strength. Keen to see how this develops, definitely looking forward to seeing the paint shop open!
You’ve just said it all, Bud!
Bang on mate!
Chris is a one man civil engineering project. If he’d have been in charge of building HS2 it would already be finished ! 🤣😂🤣😂
4 sure !
And for a tenth of the original budget! 😂
And come in on budget 🔨
And it would work flawlessly
how do you think he got all that steel?😂
I've been watching SRUK for a couple of years now, give or take. This was my favourite video - by far. Having witnessed Chris's mechanical genius from afar via UA-cam, and the way he is such a gentleman with it, he deserves all good things which come his way. The current and on-going changes are part of that. Love the pair of these lads and hopefully SRUK - and this UA-cam account - can go from strength to strength with all this progression.
Having an onsite spray booth will be a game changer. You always have a queue of cars waiting for paint. Going from strength to strength.
A word for Rob. He's a natural presenter. These guys are a great team.
Lovely to see how far Chris has come in terms of being in front of the camera. Who knew the shy man was an absolute genius in everything he does.Robs none too shabby either you can tell everything has to be done properly. Quite the dream team. Keep it up fellas , this is one awesome channel. 🎉🎉🎉

How things have changed, when I first joined the channel Chris was rarely on camera and even less rarely said anything, this vid almost all Chris. Nice one guys. Keep doing what you’re doing.
Rob, Can you do a video on how you and Chris first got together I am sure That would make really interesting content. Thanks
Chris is a proper bloke he seems to be able to do anything I just wish I had a quarter of his skill and mindset
I didn’t think when I started watching you guys, that a few years down the line I’d also be interested in your yard improvements as well! Keep up the good work 😊
Excellent philosophy about how to attract decent staff and hang on to them, spot on.

The smile on Chris's face when he mentioned his Dad a true love for him
The yard looking really good now. Extra storage makes perfect sense and the 40ft container perfect. Great update guys!! 👍
This has to be in the running for " Most Polite Channel On UA-cam "
I love what you do and how you do it.
So enjoyable to watch.
Thanks.

The wife says can you make that container into a cafe and visitors centre. Then you could charge entry for all your fans.

The SRUK empire continues to grow and would anyone have expected anything less than that level of perfection and preparation from Chris ? 👍
Rob & Chris, you are on such a journey which is a privilege to be along for the ride. Enjoy all the content from you both. 👍👍👍
We’ll done Chris, challenging environment but good to see there are people out there with the nerve to forge onwards.
Hi guys, Thank for the update.. damm the yard is looking great. Can't wait to see Chris putting the Morris back together 😊
Another good video with update yard, Great Team, Chris standing brave in front camera.
Rob you said that some people may not bother with this because it's not a car video. You and Chris have devoloped much more than just a car channel it's a people channel and a lot of the followers are here to see the interaction between you two not just the spannering. Impressive work once again and a great but somewhat fluid plan for the future. Well done.

Chris’s great great grandad actually built the Eiffel Tower in ten days.
From a job lot of left over steel from the Clifton suspension bridge.
😂
The future looks bright for you guys ,,, keep up the fantastic work and videos lads. 👌👍❤❤

Yard looking great, it will be great having your own spray shop. Late watching today, been to meet my first Grandchild today, born Monday.
Amazed at the improvements made in such a short time. Looking forward to seeing the Morris. Don't overdo it but if you have a couple of spare weekends Network Rail has a railway line called HS2 which needs building...
I'm so jealous of your yard, it looks like a lovely little place to work out of.
I know I threw in a silly comment but massive respect for this piece of civil engineering. May be a daft idea but a couple of solar panels on the roof could be great for keeping the batteries in the vehicles maintained. Bigger panels above the roof would also keep the sunlight off it a bit.

Great to see the progress and plans. Well done Chris & Rob.
Agree with all the comments really brilliant I do a delivery near Sheerness docks quite often as been following your progress since early days always thinking of you both when in the area well done 👏
really liked that video, great to see it all and really love how neat all of Chris' work for that container base is.
crane ops a lunatic. Hits the jib with the container then stands underneath when landing it. looks good!!
I could hardly CONTAIN my excitement at seeing this video. My goodness Chris does put some effort and hours into his week. The ideas are brilliant and there is a huge improvement in the appearance and the facilities. Well done guys. Your channel has to be one of the most interesting and entertaining channels out there its always a pleasure to watch the videos and see what you two are up to.
I have told you fellas once before that its a absolute delight to know that there are a couple of ordinary guys who takes so much pride in the work they do.
As for that leg end Chris, well not only is he one of the best body men I have ever seen but his skill levells at almost anything he does is truly amazing and a pleasure to behold.
You seem to apologise for non car content, don't, we love the evolution of the channel
Love the Journey boys and Chris on camera how things have changed for him and a crucial part of the dialogue ❤👍👍
Thanks for the look around guys, great to see the transformation and a glimpse into the future of Salvage Rebuilds.
I'm enjoying being along for the ride and watching all the top quality work you do.
Keep the videos coming.
Yours in anticipation; John.

Pity there aren't a few more Chris's in the world. Seems he can do anything he wants to. Amazing.
Rob can you tell what Chris can't do.the man is a genius. Looking forward to see the finish 😊😊
I'm no expert but on the container for storing Chris' cars, would some sort of ventilation fan or something be a good idea?
And hats off to Chris he's done a massive remodeling of that yard space! an he's right a good work environment means a happy employee for sure 😊
Fantastic Guys!! "Chris is the man" not to mention cool dude Rob You guys are a brilliant team, long may it continue.😁👌

Chris....Do everything NOW while you are young! The years will by FAST! HAPPY for you! Well deserved!
Great video. Shows the amazing amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to keep the business looking forward. If I lived anywhere close to you I’d volunteer to work for you for nowt.

I think the new setup is going to have a big positive impact on the business, all the best for the future gents.
You guys are brilliant, better than chalk and cheese. Chris has many skills on top of his mechanical knowledge. Perhaps a garage show room next?
What a great, hard working, humble guy Chris is, amazing and well done! 👍

Guy's, your business is yours and you know what you want to do and where you want to go. Thanks for letting us come along with you.
The building work is coming along well, I like the idea of having an on site paint booth.
Well done Rob and Chris, it will be exciting to see the plans become reality❤.
Brilliant...........Take a look at 'Andrew Camarata's' castle, made from containers. He does nice videos as well.
Brilliant update guys, thank you. Well impressed with the improvements and Chris’s vision. Really look forward to your videos guys, long may they continue 👍
You guys have worked so hard, great to see the evolution of your operation.
Chris, absolutely smashing it out the park with the yard renovation.
Great channel update 👍 things take as long as it takes, why are people so impatient. Most importantly glad it's going to give Chris the opportunity to do done of his projects in the background.

Hello both, great update about the plans and progress Chris has done so far,it is very impressive.the new container is ideal to store his cars in.
I know now that Chris Doesn't see the comments and wont see this but I can definitely say 110% that his Dad would be more than proud of him!
Well done lads !! Chris clever hard working guy! Good to hear of ongoing projects!!
