Hi Lissa, I'm going to make this tomorrow and I have a question: So you blended 1/2 the soaked veggies to the blender, then you added the rest before the garnish? like all the mixture, or just the veggies? I think in the video you said, "...add the rest of the zucchini". Is that the soaked zucchini and carrots with coconut aminos, liquid and all?

Aimee Rook Yes! :) I added half before i blended it to a cream to get the carrot zucchini amino flavour, then at the end I added the last half with the loose corn and just pulsed the blender to chop them up just slightly because I wanted a chunky soup. You could save the whole thing for the end pulsing too if you wanted it super chunky.

Will it get warm in any blender after 5 minutes? Or does it have to be a certain brand?

+spearsing In the Vitamix it's about 5 mins - depends on the brand... You can use a meat thermometer to test the temp too - Ilike about 110F.

So made this last night and it was delicious until 20-30 min. after I got done eating it my stomach wasn't happy... woke up this morning with puffy lips and a still upset stomach. I think I might be allergic to corn. I didn't add the onion so I know it wasn't sensitivity to that. I'm kinda bummed because I loved the taste :( just not the after effects.... anyone else have troubles with this?!

+Sarah Hill It could be the corn if you have a sensitivity to it. I never have a problem eating this. Remember not everyone's tummies are tuned for certain fruits and veggies, but love other fruits and veggies. If you find things that bother you, just don't consume them and focus on those that do. Broccoli doesnt sit well with me, but tomatoes do. Tomatoes for another raw foodie are like death, but they can handle broccoli. We are all just so different, but still need real food. Hopefully you can figure out what it was, but I can bet you anything it was the corn

Thanks Lissa for responding. It's kind of a bummer but I will be sure to steer clear of corn from now on. I just love all of your recipes, you make everything taste so delicious... a huge step up from my previous attempt to eat raw. Thanks for being such an inspiration! :) I will keep working my way through your recipes. Thanks again!
