Yes, as many comments point out, I did a pretty bad job applying skin. However, that is sort of the point of the video, and something I mention towards the end- it's not as seamless as DBrand makes it out to be, so if you're someone who struggles with applying screen protectors, you're going to want to steer clear. However, I did try the "SOMETHING Dark" skin without rails after this one, and it was not only much easier to apply, but looked significantly better! So, under the conditions that you find a skin you really enjoy, and are able to get a good installation of it, DBrand is pretty great! If none of their designs seem too exciting, I would absolutely not bother for the price and the so/so quality of the skin
Honestly just seems like you did a terrible job on putting it on tbh, my dad has a dbrand skin on his iphone 12 mini and it looks GREAT, yours just seems like a bad installation tbh
Honestly yeah your right, I bought the black something skin without rails to replace it and it looks way better, mostly bc black skin on a black phone is kinder but also my installation was way better
Apart from it being a bad installation, I think the rails are just a bad idea I think it would look best with just the back and without the camera sticker
I bought one too, but I decided to cutout the corner side on the upper left side where the skin runs thinnest. DBrand should at least thin out the camera cut around for better clearance.
My main complaint with dbrand skins, at least the ones I got, is they are matte and I was expecting a glossy and metallic for my Damascus pattern skins. Quality is okay, a bit overpriced, I think they could be slightly cheaper. I didn’t like packaging at all, they ship via usps and the envelope arrived in bad condition but the skins survived. I still have it on my MacBook Air 15 but they don’t look how I was expecting them
I could see how the packaging could easily get destroyed but i liked the minimalist packaging despite that. Also yeah I agree they just look different in person but look better once they are actually applied to whatever product you bought it for
@@ameet2975 I got the Something Dark skin without rails to replace this one and I gotta say, it is actually incredibly easy to apply, and a dark skin on a dark phone looks much better than a white skin on a dark phone.
Are people really think this is cool? Having to install a fucking sticker on the phone just to look cheap and ugly if you didn’t install it perfectly? That’s just stupid from the brand

probably too late but you use a blow dryer to strech the ieces together
dude that happened to me i woke up one morning and my ipad screen was broke to this day i haven’t solved that mystery
That exact same thing happened to me last week
Deja vu, that same thing happened to me 4 years ago, woke up and saw the screen in shambles. No clue on how it happened.
9:24: "it looks pretty bad" if I'm not mistaken you we're the one who chose that skin?
Well no shit
@@Vuhl-ce2hc he thought it looked good on the website. Out of all their skins he didn't even choose a good one 😭
No the quality for he image is bad

You are correct ! The Something Dark without rails looked 10x better

Its looks really good just hope doesn’t fall
had a similar experience with the precision fit
That’s what a skin is

I got shaky hands myself and that's the main reason I have stayed away from these pricey skins!!! Cases work best for me :)

imagine struggling to put a fucking sticker on, i've used d brand 3 times and all my skins look good
@@TheJelleHit’s and easiness thing, why would they make you put the sticker? Just punt them on the case before sending them
@@raulorozco2115that way you only need one case and can change the sticker all you want, way cheaper
