I love Norm so much, at the beginning of the show it seemed like he’d be annoying. However, he became motivated almost instantly and had a change in personality.
Norm was great, and he showed that courage comes in more forms than just physical combat. The courage to stand up to a powerful authority that could kill you at any stage is arguably the most courageous act of all.
The only thing they missed was having Dog Meat get in the way. 3 seconds of the ghoul trying to push his way past dog meat in a doorway, giving him a look like "little bastard" when he gets by. Don't even have him say anything, just add that little bit to a scene. It would have been great.
Would be in character for a Malinois too, mine does it all the bloody time. Just stops in from of me, usually at an angle so she is blocking the way, wagging her tail and smiling like a goofball saying "gimme scritches".
Just seeing the clip of Ella Purnell talking about how she played the games to try to learn the source material, how she got really into the games and how important it was to her to respect the source material was what made me want to check out the show. We need more people like her and Henry Cavill.
I'd like her and Henry to team up on a future video game adaptation. Maybe she could be in the Warhammer series he's working on. She could solidify her legacy as the queen of starring in great video game adaptations.
@@The_Isaiahnator That’d be really cool. With the two of them it’d be guaranteed that show would be amazing. We already know Henry loves Warhammer and if Ella brought the same level of dedication to whatever hypothetical role she’d get in that show that she did to Lucy Maclean it’d make the show an all time great.
There was just an interview today where Todd Howard cleared up some of the lore confusion and confirmed that everything in the show including the shady sands destruction happened after New Vegas
@@TheActManI didn't like the reveal of who dropped the bombs first. The show made the commie sympathizers appear sane, all for the sake of really wanting to own the Capitalists. With Todd Howard's treatment of Fallout 4 and Fallout 76, I'm surprised the show was good as it was, but the ending was a disappointment.
Just cause Cuck Howard says so doesn't mean he is wright he all of Bethesda and you tourists are all factually wrong and this show is as shit as yalls standards
@@helwrecht1637 are you talking about the show itself or shady sands getting destroyed? I agree I don’t like the direction they took with that but at least it doesn’t break the lore
Holy shit... I'm such a huge fan of Portal's universe. But I do think the story is perfectly told within the games already. Could be very hard to recreate. Although, a disneyland immersive ride through the aperture facility like they have for the star wars rise of the resistance would be phenomenal
My mom, who doesnt play any video games, wanted to watch this show with me and asked me all kinds of questions about the lore and prefaced it by telling me "keep it tame and dont nerd out on me too much, please". And as someone who doesnt play any video games, she thoroughly enjoyed this show and can't wait for season 2.
I thought the scene where Cooper starts tearing up after his wife say “we drop them ourselves” was just phenomenal. He’s such an amazing actor. Great scene, buildup, just *chef’s kiss*
I absolutely lost my sh*t in that moment like I never had before. The feeling of realizing that a 27 year-old overarching mystery was just answered a week ago, culminating so many horrors on so many levels at the same instant, is overwhelming. I had to stop and feel for a full minute; I had NEVER done that for a piece of media before because I felt something that deeply
Goggins' acting was incredible. But none of that made sense. First off, so his wife is the CEO? Why is she leading the meeting, the entire show you get the impression she's a upper middle management and now she's leading the meeting with the competitors? Vault Tec's goal is a total monopoly, wipe every government, group, faction, company out and control everything. So obviously the smartest thing to do is let all your competitors know. They're not even offering a merger or a union. The other companies might help building vaults or technology but they get their own vaults, can choose their own experiments and keep their own secrets. Which defeats the entire point of dropping the nukes to wipe out all factions.
between Arcane, Edgerunners and Fallout specifically, i'm gonna say the common denominator is telling stories in the game's setting has a better batting average than directly adapting the game's plots
@@diamondheadify-v5i It's tough to compare animated shows and live action shows. Animated shows just due to their art form are much easier to be creative with as they're not bound by the laws and physics of real life. I think for an animated show, the Fallout show is one of the best video game adaptations ever made.
I’m glad they left it out.. as iconic as the intro is. It spoils the message of the show that human beings will never stop finding shit to fight about.. it’s better they left it till the end.
I want him to be a Mid Western BoS in BADASS horned power armor with a menacing look and grim " you soon dead punk! " stare and ready to WHOOP your arses!
I love how Ella Purnell and Walton Goggins had two opposite approaches to their roles. Ella thought it important to play the games to get familiar with the source material so they can be consistent with it, and Walton thought he had to actively avoid playing the games so there could be someone on set who could give a perspective of a casual viewer unfamiliar with the source material.
@@paladin_au She also said she watched *A LOT* of game play, to make up for the fact that it would take her longer to learn the game and play than to just watch the videos.
What really got me to watch this show, is the actress of Lucy (also the voice actress of Jinx from League of Legends and Arcane), going on the record about playing countless hours of Fallout games to understand the feel the source material and better respect it. What sold it even more for me, was mainstream media outlets criticizing her for "wasting time playing videogames". And in reality, that dedication, is what makes her role feel so authentic. So in universe. So immersive. Not only for fans of the fallout IP, but for anyone who gets into the IP from the series.
And she likes the game, I don’t trust those journalists and their whole attitude as many people play video games for fun and they enjoy it; also I love her character is way better than the one in army of the dead also I forgot her Voice acting is really top tier, hope she gets to do a video game role soon cause she really nails the crazy, the naive and the other roles
I like how the 3 protagonists and a lot of the story-beats are classic Fallout: Lucy, the naive vault dweller who's in the wastes for the first time, looking for her dad (a la Fallout 3) Maximus who probably joined the BoS because he thought Power Armor was cool (lol) The Ghoul who is already experienced in the wasteland, and has unique motivations (a la New Vegas). And MY FAVORITE: Norm (Lucy's brother) finding out the history and true reason behind his vault.
Really hope they give Maximus more initiative and more motivation to make the Brotherhood into the force of good he wishes them to be, he even says to the asshole paladin "you don't deserve to wear that armor", hope he said that not only because power armor is cool but that the Brotherhood has some principles and valor to uphold.
One thing I do think is that The Ink Spots deserve recognition for their music in fallout. And I hope that their estates are receiving proper compensation. “It’s All Over but the Crying” and “I Don’t Want to Set The World On Fire” those songs are intrinsic to the identity of the fallout franchise
Honestly, their famous " BUM buBUM bubum" intro Is such a great way to "fast travel" your immersion to the realm of Fallout. Like a magic spell/ incantation.
From some of these comments the fact the group is Black Americans would be called DEI and "race propaganda" when Black Americans made The Gospel and The Blues are the basis for all modern music. Great point and add Nat King Cole 🎉
@@justnoob8141 Because they weren’t giant and massive ones that destroy the stories of multiple previous games if not the entire IP. Exhibit A) the Master and BOS have access to the records of *every* vault (come to think of it… even player characters do… more then once), yet the miss 31-33, ok sure maybe the records got wiped (unlikely as it is)… but both groups and even then NCR had *decades* to search the bone yard area and didn’t find anything? Exhibit B, Vault-Teks motives… get ready for a big one… If the company wants total autocratic power ala-house, why do they do *nothing* for 200 years, literally. You’d think the corporation who wants to control the globe and/or global markets to the extent they’d nuke everything would at least monitor the surface periodically just in case… but they don’t (which considering their motive is nonsense), else they’d have done something far sooner against; The COMMUNISTS in the Shi The United States Army (BOS) The United States Government (Enclave) The NCR The Legion The Master They do nothing, which is weird since they killed everyone and everything to achieve total control and didn’t account for the fact… people and organisations could survive/rebuild… nor did they monitor the surface to see if they succeeded or not. Exhibit C; Magical ghoul serum that never existed before nor was ever mentioned, seen or implied before… which then makes the NCR accepting ghouls in the army retarded and any settlement tolerating them retarded, why wouldn’t you just kill all of them? (de-facto racism is ok now, because the minorities might be dangerous…) I don’t think Obsidian made “mistakes” that big… I don’t think good writers make mistakes that big… but maybe that’s just me…
"Thou shall get side tracked by bullshit every god damn time" Is my favorite line in the show because it just goes to show when you TRY and do the main quest no matter what you will ALWAYS get side tracked by side quests and random shit instead. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. 😂😂😂😂
I have only played Fallout 4 (and 76 for like 3 hours before I gave up), but out of like 20 playthroughs I started, I never got even halfway into the main quest. So I never finished the game. I mean, the furthest I ever got was reclaiming that fortress for the minutemen lol. Always got distracted with side quest, then got distracted by even more things doing those sidequests, then I grew tired of the character/build and started again. And again. And again. And again. Every time with more mods, and then getting distracted even more by enhanced base building lmao
No no, you must all ways be sidetracked by all everything and very finish Any quests then get your saves corrupted by an OS update. You have to stop playing because of work, school , and or vacations and forget what main quests or where you left off.
@@stanhry the number of playthroughs ended because I wrecked the game beyond saving is way too high. Such are the perils of installing mods.. Especially mid-playthrough. But then again, it's bethesda. If you don't install mods, you're getting a really bad, really buggy game... of you mess the difficulty curve and end up with a too easy or too hard game (since notoriously the only thing the difficulty slider in bethesda games do is increase mob HP and damage exponentially, making them into a bullet sponge to end all bullet sponges)...
When they were exploring vault 32, that was the closest I ever felt to watching a game made into a show. Watching the characters exploring the creepy and dark tunnels of an abandoned vault was literally perfect. Loved the show so much.
That scene and when they first came into Filly. In both instances I told my wife, "this is pretty spot on in terms of feel of a town/exploring a vault". Totally agree, they nailed it with that vault 32 bit.

1 (somewhat) Easter egg I love is when the BOS scribe is talking to the radio guy and if you listen to the music he’s playing, it’s one of the songs you can hear when listening to the Minutemen radio in Fallout 4.
@@jacksauceanother cool thing, before that scene where he meets the doctor that fixes his leg, you can actually hear a minuteman on the radio, it’s even labeled as “Minutemen Radio” in the cast list!
If you are interested in replaying the Fallout games I would strongly recommend looking up A Tale of Two Wastelands - it's a mod that combines Fallout 3 and New Vegas into a single game. You can travel between the two zones on a single character and play all the content of both of them whenever you want. Essentialy it ports all of Fallout 3 into New Vegas (I think you need to own both F3 and NV on the same platform for it to work but they are so cheap it barely matters nowadays) and introduces some new elements as well. Playing it is an actual blast. A nuclear blast.
Although it's a great idea, some of us barely have the time to play one of the games. Life as an adult comes at you hard. After a 9 hour work day and doing house chores and spending time with the kids, you barely have an hour to yourself before your head falls on the pillow. Just playing New Vegas alone would take me a couple months with the little time i have left for gaming. I wish i were a teenager again sometime, just to have time to play all these great games. Oh well, enjoy it while you can. :)
When Lucy unwittingly sets the ferals loose in the chem shop, gets that experience boost to level up and comes out in the armored vault suit. Thats when i knew it was gonna be good!
I didn't even think about XP watching this show, but that's EXACTLY what happened with that scene! Amazing detail. I was sat there thinking "Oh all of a sudden she got a lot tougher" like duh, that's what happens in-game! Great insight.
I like how the protagonists felt like our gamer personalities, The Vault Dweler: our eagerness for exploration and curiosity, The Brotherhood Scribe: our expectations vs reality of any faction we began to like, The Ghoul: our desire to murder anything and anyone in our way to get what we want, and The brother: a need to uncover misteries and secrets hidden within the location we are
Of all the good decisions that went into making this show, this is by far the most important. Even though each personality is archetypal, I fell in love with every single one.
i watched the whole season with my dad. as a fan of fallout, i loved the show as someone that never played a video game before, my dad loved the show. and we discussed a lot about the lore and the fallout universe after. that is what i call a good show
I was shocked by how good it was, and a lot of that was how brutal they depicted the fallout universe, they weren't scared to mention touchy subjects because it might offend people.

The performance that Moisés Arias gave as Norm was exceptional! I haven't read much praise for his on-screen presence, but I really appreciated how the "less is more" approach sold his reactions.
His dialogue and expressions were always at odds. His facial expressions showed how he knew what was going on but he was still trying to innocently play dumb by what he was saying. So good!

I think Lucy is suppose to represent the player character. She meets weird npcs throughout her travels, comes across places that are supposed to be civilations, and goes from almost dying to having an arsenal at the end.
Something I really appreciate of the show is the visual storytelling of corpses and environments that's actually very similar to what the games do. I loved it.
The fact that there's no Ron Perlman intro made me sad. However, what might happen when the series comes to an end is that we get a slide show narrated conclusion to the story. THAT would be the cherry on top. A man can dream.

I loved how the show on its own explains the world in a such compelling way for newcomers while keeping fans invested to see how each element will work into the story. I would LOVE to have watched this with someone who has never played these games before and watch them marvel at just how fun the Fallout world is.
A scene that I really enjoyed was when Lucy was sneaking away and she kept messing up. That shows that she has a low sneak stat 😂 She also seem to have a proficiency in small guns that you see throughout the show. I find the attention to detail on how states work really cool.
My favorite character is Lucy. Her overly optimistic and positive attitude is slowly being replaced by a more cynical and downbeat version. I love the difference between her first "okey dokey" and her last one in the final episode. She also has some other very fun quotes, but unlike modern day MCU, the humor doesn't undercut any tension. When she is in the final big confrontation where she learns the truth about her father and mother, she is not making jokes anymore. The Ghoul and Maximus are also very good and interesting characters that I want to see more of. I also liked Thaddeus and hope we get to see his journey into becoming a ghoul.
Before I had watched the Fallout series, I had just watched fargo (the movie, not the show), and Lucy's character kind of reminds me of someone from Minnesota just by the way she talks.
@Antares2 I like how directly her character contrasts with the ghoul's and one of her conflicts is trying not to become a disconnected cold blooded killer like him.
Can I just say this is not only a great video game show but a great show in general. I recommended this show to my parents who have only heard of the games through my siblings and I and they loved the show and the characters. They understood the story clear as day and wanted more. That is a show done right.
@Jdjdjdujakzgsha what are you talking about? You do know he got the role because he was such a big fallout 3 fan that he begged to be in New vegas. Do a little research before opening your mouth
Can't we appreciate that the Fallout 4's "assault rifle" is being used as intended, cause in the concept arts the "AR" was intended to be a machine gun to be wield it in Power Armor. In the series is so f#cking gigantic that i would consider a heavy machine gun like the M2, and it fits really well with the T-60.
@@udamthewaster9454 its not, its a fusion of a maxim machine gun and a lewis gun, both firing rifle rounds. also they use completely different cooling methods which bethesda idnt understand, the maxim is water cooled, but the lewis gun is air cooled, with the gas from the barrel drawing in air from behind and passing it over fins to cool the barrel, interresting but not that efficient, and water cooling was outdated by the second world war. it would be way better to just carry multiple barrely you can switch out like an mg 34 or 42, especially when youre in armour that allows you to carry a fuckton of weight, but also then, since the armour has electricity, you might aswell make a mechanism that automatically swithes the barrely out, its not very difficuly to do with an electric motor and wait a minute, thats just a gatling gun. WHY DIDNT THEY JUST EQUIP THEM WITH GATLING GUNS
Lucy is the female main character we need! She makes mistakes and learns from them. Is strong but not unbreakable. Smart but unwise to the world as it is. She’s full of life and Ella Purnell did a brilliant job in portraying her.
Something I didn't notice till someone pointed it out but made me smile when it hit me that they were right, in the 8:52 fight, Howard eats food to heal himself.
There actually is a laser weapon in the show, though I only noticed one. Lee wields a laser pistol during the final episode, though I don't believe it ever shows her firing it.
@@lazypayday4476some guards on her camp had laser rifles too, and at the philly episode you can see a modified laser musket, a laser rifle, and a plasma gun on the wall hangers in the background of the old lady's shop.
One Thing I thought about the Show (wich someone else also posted on Reddit) was that Maximus´s Chapter of the BoS has a lot of people with Latin Names and the Flags at their Airstrip-HQ where Yellow on Red made me think that they might fused with some Remnants of the Legion (wich falls apart after Caesars Death) wich is also why the Elder at the End wishes to split and "make a new Brotherhood". my Guess is that he is an old Legionaire who basically wants to revive the very same

But calling it garbage in comparison while the thing you're comparing it to is such a shit heap of bugs and frustrating usability that it feels super disingenuous.
@simracing4simpletons978 I'm not saying it's bad but it's bad as a Fallout game. Stripped of all RPG elements in favor of mass appeal to the lowest common denominator of consumers. Turned it into a shooting gallery looter shooter, removed any depth of dialogue and severely lacks creative writing. Okay game, bad RPG. Fallout is supposed to be an RPG. If they want to make a game in this universe about shooting, then okay, but it would only make sense as a spin off and not a mainline entry. Fallout 4 tries to be something it isnt and it falls flat. That's my opinion.
Yes, I can confirm that THAT last shot from the last episode had me rolling on my bed like crazy and had me crying literal tears of joy and excitement. I can wait for S2!!!
BoS is still too prominent, they were close as shit to being wiped out in fallout New Vegas and the NCR was on the way to being a major super power in North America, now it flip flopped. Also why did they have to add the ghoul serum that held off ghoul feralization? That isn't at all how it worked in the games, every ghoul was just on the way to becoming feral depending on the ghoul, or how much rads they soak up.
I just watched the entire series today, it was so awesome and I’m glad they treated this show with respect and passion. I’m going back to playing fallout 4 now
One thing I loved about the show is they catch you off guard a number of times by briefly mentioning things that become way important later in the season. Just off-handed remarks that you don't think about, then later realize "This is exactly what they were talking about earlier"
I just wish the show was atleast a bit historical more accurate. Catholic church in wallachia??? Seriously???? As someone from the balkans it does bother me. And the lack of ottomans to like did they forget a invasion happened during this time period? They also could introduce isaac like he was some kind of ottoman commander or general.
@@tomgu2285 In the shows defense, if you view it as an alternate history which Castlevania might as well be, it wouldn't fall out of the realms of possibility that there would be inaccurate historical stuff, but I understand that it is annoying when they can't get all the facts right, lol.
Yea Castlevania is least mentioned when it's up there w/ Edgerunners and Arcane. I appreciate fallout for being a gameplay driven no cutscene RPG w/o a main established character founded w/ a fanbase that heavily relies solemnly on world building.
As a NV fanboi that ending hit me like a tonne of bricks, but I understand the circumstances that led to it. NV talks constantly about how the NCR is corrupt as hell with the water and brahmin barons like Hank Gunderson. “When the barons become more powerful than the sheriff, the whole town burns.” -The Ghoul

@xUseTheForks I am, just because they're content creators, doesn't mean they know everything. The writing for this show was bad, the lore inconsistency is bad.
It won't have any effect on Fo5, Jonathan Nolan has said in interviews that he worked very closely with Todd and already knows what will happen in 5. He stated Todd was always on hand to tell them they could or couldn't do certain things depending on if it conflicts with 5's story. There are energy weapons, just none fired, Moldova (however it's spelt) has a laser pistol, the crazy old ladies shop sign has a laser rifle on it. There's others about.
And you expect me to believe anything that F*ck Todd says? This show is not canon to the OG games. And its another example of f*cking over the existing lore for Bethesda's "FALLOUT" Thempark.
I love Lucy's brother Norm. He doesn't buy into the culture of the vault he was raised in but at the same time isn't a complete jerk about it. I get the feeling that he is way smarter than most people in the vault give him credit for considering all the different jobs he was able to do. He wasn't moved around because he preformed badly but because he wasn't "happy" in the position. I think he also has the Small Frame perk from New Vegas. This would give him higher agility which explains how he was able to evade the Raiders long enough for Lucy to hide him and the comedic seen with Robo Bud. My favorite scene doesn't have anything to do with Norm however. When Lucy gets caught out of bounds in Vault 4 and she is put on trial... the whole thing just made me bust out laughing. Especially, when she had negotiated to have Maximus stay and he just rages in like the Hulk to save her... that whole scene from the bag over her head down the corridor to when she convinces Maximus to give the fusion core back is all sorts of EPIC!
I don't think the Ghoul was using the same bullets at the Observatory as he was at Filly. The bullets at Filly looked like nukes, and the one he used to kill the BoS members looked sharp. There's reason to believe the nuke bullets wouldn't have worked against Maximus.
I mean I'm pretty sure the goul was toying with maximus after realising that he wasn't competent with the armour. He knows how to use it from the war and he was making quips about him missing basic training. Then he delt with him by cutting walhat looked like 1 cable. Plus I recon max has near max luck.
Well it's probably because he wasn't expecting a BOS in power armor to fly in, if he had known he would've likely done so. Besides, The Ghoul probably knew that there was going to be BOS Knights at the observatory so that's why he used the special bullets, as he knows what their weaknesses are.
My sister in law is not a gamer and has no Idea what Fallout is, but she was hooked with the starte when the nukes went off. It is for the most part easy to understand for noobies as well.
My wife loved the show so much that she binged it with me and she only ever binges shows she really likes a lot. I kept telling her about different easter eggs that tie into the games and she was fascinated by it.

I like how the 3 protagonists and a lot of the story-beats are classic Fallout:
Lucy, the naive vault dweller who's in the wastes for the first time, looking for her dad (a la Fallout 3)
Maximus who probably joined the BoS because he thought Power Armor was cool (lol)
The Ghoul who is already experienced in the wasteland, and has unique motivations (a la New Vegas).
And MY FAVORITE:
Norm (Lucy's brother) finding out the history and true reason behind his vault.
Yeah I really liked all the characters!
The Fallout 4 influence with the criopods was really cool. (The Norm part)
Norm was the TheEpicNate of the fallout universe

Exhibit A) the Master and BOS have access to the records of *every* vault (come to think of it… even player characters do… more then once), yet the miss 31-33, ok sure maybe the records got wiped (unlikely as it is)… but both groups and even then NCR had *decades* to search the bone yard area and didn’t find anything?
Exhibit B, Vault-Teks motives… get ready for a big one…
If the company wants total autocratic power ala-house, why do they do *nothing* for 200 years, literally.
You’d think the corporation who wants to control the globe and/or global markets to the extent they’d nuke everything would at least monitor the surface periodically just in case… but they don’t (which considering their motive is nonsense), else they’d have done something far sooner against;
The COMMUNISTS in the Shi
The United States Army (BOS)
The United States Government (Enclave)
The NCR
The Legion
The Master
They do nothing, which is weird since they killed everyone and everything to achieve total control and didn’t account for the fact… people and organisations could survive/rebuild… nor did they monitor the surface to see if they succeeded or not.
Exhibit C; Magical ghoul serum that never existed before nor was ever mentioned, seen or implied before… which then makes the NCR accepting ghouls in the army retarded and any settlement tolerating them retarded, why wouldn’t you just kill all of them? (de-facto racism is ok now, because the minorities might be dangerous…)

Yes I love it. It was also suppose to be a 50.cal machine gun
Still hate the design of the gun but it does look less bad when carried with power armor or on a tripod
"This ass jerky aint gunna make itself" best line in the whole show
"A feller's gotta eat a feller"
Lucy is the female main character we need! She makes mistakes and learns from them. Is strong but not unbreakable. Smart but unwise to the world as it is. She’s full of life and Ella Purnell did a brilliant job in portraying her.
Ya she was a good character at forts I thought she was gonna be the stereotypical annoying character who makes all the dumb decisions but I was wrong
Something I didn't notice till someone pointed it out but made me smile when it hit me that they were right, in the 8:52 fight, Howard eats food to heal himself.
Yea that scene was purely made for the gamers and fallout fans.
Reason why there's no laser weapons is because nobody has leveled up enough for the level list to spawn people with them
There actually is a laser weapon in the show, though I only noticed one.
That helldivers earrape got me good lmao
This show is a bloody miracle! I can only barely believe that we have a briiliant and lore friendly Fallout show, feels like a wild fever dream.
If Thaddeus isn't a companion in Fallout 5 I'm putting a razor blade in Todd Howards boot.
Shut up, normie.
One Thing I thought about the Show (wich someone else also posted on Reddit) was that Maximus´s Chapter of the BoS has a lot of people with Latin Names and the Flags at their Airstrip-HQ where Yellow on Red made me think that they might fused with some Remnants of the Legion (wich falls apart after Caesars Death) wich is also why the Elder at the End wishes to split and "make a new Brotherhood". my Guess is that he is an old Legionaire who basically wants to revive the very same
That is actually an interesting idea imo.

Both not bad but garbage in comparison
@@ThisIsMyUA-camAccount1 Sounds like rose-tinted nostalgia glasses. FNV might have been great for its time, but its so buggy and busted that it's not even playable. FO4 is a great game, and is not garbage in any comparison. Not saying it's better. But calling it garbage in comparison while the thing you're comparing it to is such a shit heap of bugs and frustrating usability that it feels super disingenuous.
He should do 1 and 2 those games slap when you learn it.

Don't forget Castlevania, absolutely a god tier adaptation.
Sucks that everyone forgets that show.
Except for that brother and sister scene with Alucard later
As a big fallout fan, I love the show and am very happy it turned out good
Fallout 76 has had more people playing it on steam than war thunder this week.. let that sink in.
Now my living room is wet >:(
Im not letting the sink in
ah yes, the army of drones.
also that says very little, war thunder is complete garbage
As a NV fanboi that ending hit me like a tonne of bricks, but I understand the circumstances that led to it.
NV talks constantly about how the NCR is corrupt as hell with the water and brahmin barons like Hank Gunderson.
“When the barons become more powerful than the sheriff, the whole town burns.” -The Ghoul
That wouldn't lead to the destruction of the NCR.
yeah i didn’t like what happened to shady sands neither, but i do think that probably there are some ncr remnants, when the brotherhood of steel arrive you can see some people waving around ncr flags on the battlefield.
we’ll see though
The NCR is out of new vegas, and california has a whole, but they still exist but unorganized, like the enclave was
also, after the lonesome road dlc, it was kinda expected that new vegas would fall
That's not really how a decline much less a collapse happens. It's beyond apparent that Bethesda doesn't like being bound by the old lore. If you like the show, cool, but you should be honest about what it is, a soft reboot.
Out of all the gore the part that hit me the hardest was the Squire pulling his sock off.
yeah that one is brutal as hell, it's also the notorious crippled limb in Fallout, i love it
Yeah, that musta been really painful for them
@@TheBenjiNebby ya mean Max's friend? the comment above refer Thadd, the scene where he got his leg crippled and pulled his sock off to check it. just saying in case you misunderstood that.
It just really sucks that 2 of fallout's recently came out saying China was aggressive and launched first yet after Bethesda took over it changed to greedy capitalism. How the games were about war, it never changes... Not some kind of criticism of capitalism which is where Bethesda took it.
My friend doesn't play video games and doesn't really know Fallout, but she absolutely loves the show. Just shows you what competent writers can do with a video game adaptation.

Show went so hard that fucking 76 received a resurgence now. Like it’s an insane thing to witness it though I heard it is better now.

Man I really wanted to step on robo bud
The Ghoul absolutely has the bloody mess perk.
One thing I hated was how Ghoul knows the power armor's weakness in the last episode, but when he was fighting Maximus he shot at him endlessly
the writing was very weak
I don't think the Ghoul was using the same bullets at the Observatory as he was at Filly. The bullets at Filly looked like nukes, and the one he used to kill the BoS members looked sharp. There's reason to believe the nuke bullets wouldn't have worked against Maximus.
I mean I'm pretty sure the goul was toying with maximus after realising that he wasn't competent with the armour. He knows how to use it from the war and he was making quips about him missing basic training. Then he delt with him by cutting walhat looked like 1 cable. Plus I recon max has near max luck.
Doesn’t that specific weakspot required a certain type of ammo?
I doubt the ghoul would get his hands on that ammo so early in his journey.
Well it's probably because he wasn't expecting a BOS in power armor to fly in, if he had known he would've likely done so. Besides, The Ghoul probably knew that there was going to be BOS Knights at the observatory so that's why he used the special bullets, as he knows what their weaknesses are.
There was one Laser Rifle seen being held by one of the guards in the Vault Tec Facility the man with the dog ran away from after being exposed.
