Yea...it took 9 weeks to get mine and it laid my 4b edges down all day. I was outside at a cookout in 82 degrees and it didn't move. A little definitely goes a long way. Also, the customer service is amazing!!

I did not experience any flaking at all, and at the time of posting this I’ve gone through about half the jar, and also used it on my kids, and one of my students. Now I imagine for someone with low porosity, there is a higher likelihood of flaking.

I ordered 2 of the purple edge controls and I believe my hair may be considered 4c. It turns white over time for me. I’m unsure if I’m doing something wrong. I also wrap it up to help set it. It holds for a while then the hair coil fly aways are back sprouted up. It seems to work well for people with your texture and straight textured hair. Please let me know what could be happening. My hair is currently in knotless braids so I was using it for the grown out edges. Welp, I went back to perms so I can use brown eco style gel or gorilla gel in yellow tube.🤷🏾♀️🙄

I've seen 2 reviews from YTubers with 4C hair and they were disappointed with it. It wouldn't hold their hair at all. The girl who 'invented' this, as you showed, has hair similar to yours. What about the 'wash out'? Was it hard to wash it out?
It rinsed right out with no problems. So far it’s worked well on both my girls and one of my students with type 4 hair, but it may just be a porosity & density factor.
Literally the only reason I haven't bought any because I've seen NO success stories for our type hair or like Glam said porosity. I'm glad it works with others tho.

I love the thickness of gorilla snot and the fact that it reactivates when you get it wet, but if you use too much, it does flake. Also gorilla snot has alcohol in it, though my hair has never felt dry after using it.
