My grandma lives in a small town in West Virginia and a lot of coal trains pass through. I remember every time we visited she would take us to the old train station and she’d give my brother and I a handful of coins to lay on the tracks

I found with my sleep problems changing my diet, taking supplements for blood sugar issues and like vita d or c or higher protein intake, less carbs (not keto) I used to have anxeity and depression episodes that at one time were really bad. sometimes your body goes through detox can make you depressed and anxious. You need a pair of good noise canceling headphones or commercial grade earplugs to stuff in your ears while moving then leave them out at night..I don't blame your ears thoes freight trains are DAMN LOUD
Brother, once again, you show us all that there is a lot of time spent, just making sure to make the correct decisions. It shows your knowledge and experience but most of all your patience to allow a ride to just go on. You once said in a previous video that we never get the chance to see the time spent waiting between rides. If you have an opportunity, maybe you can sit and explain to us how this has changed over the 30+ years you have been riding. Explain what it was like to sit back 30 years ago and now with the age of cell phones and instant data. Be safe out there brother and as always - in my best drill SGT voice - Drink Water!!!!!!!!!!
I used to house train hoppers when I could. I miss those days a bit. Wish I could help on that level again. I would cook what I had, let anyone use my shower and even wash their clothes and shit. Just where I live, the train is industrial aka 7 cars max. Mostly from the small rail built for industrial purposes. Nothing like the long lines that could actually track ground. No one knows this rail is a thing and it doesn't go past 18 miles.

Hey man.. I’m off work Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. If you hop off in Lynchburg, I’d love to show you around. We could go up to the old “Blue Ridge Tunnel”.
I saw a guy stick a railroad spike on the rail and that actually lifted up the wheel off the track about a inch and was loud! I've seen guys at camp throw 2x4s under the train to chop the wood down to smaller lengths to burn in the campfire. Dumb....

I took trazodone last night. Sometimes makes you drowsy all day the next day. I’d cut them in half or even quarters. But since you tossed them doesn’t matter much. Someone suggested dissolvable Melatonin 10 mg. Those are good. Nice to see you again 🚂
Melatonin 10 mg over the counter for sleep it's a supplement, Doctors will give you what ever makes them the most$$$$$,you did the right thing by throwing that garbage away,it will only result in hindering your train catching ability, not a risk I would want to take!✌🚂
Trazadone is an anitdepressant primarily. That is undisputed. Second it is an anti-anxiety medication. Third on the list is a sleep aid of the knoch you the f-out type. The VA only rarely medicates Vets with Trazadone for depression. I'm kind of shocked because I know it has a residual effect that is slow to leave the body. Be careful while you're riding if you contine that med.
He threw the rest of it out. Thank goodness. I had to take it for a medical procedure and definitely didn't like how it made me feel afterwards. It's wicked shit
Yeah brother, that trazidone will rock you. Not sure if you tried them yet but Unisom is an OVC ypu can get at most any supermarket or rite aid or whatever. It knocks me out pretty good when I can sleep.
