- This film examines the remarkable adaptations and survival strategies of alpine fauna. From the dominant bear, whose might commands respect across the landscape, to the enigmatic bearded vulture, a unique bird that thrives on a diet of bones; from a lone she-wolf, ostracized from her pack, to the astonishing brown frog residing in snowy realms-each species demonstrates incredible ingenuity to cope with the extreme challenges of their environment.
This was the most touching documentary I have seen in a long time. I wept during the film and cheered the She Wolf on. I loved all the information about cooperation....the trees....the plants....the shepherd who alerted the wolves he was there and not going to lose his sheep....the courage of the lone Wolf Mother to raise 6 pups.....I was and am deeply touched and grateful to hear....yes, cooperation is the way forward. Much love and Namaste'

This is the best documentary I've ever watched. I was amazed by the She-Wolf, and it brought tears to my eyes when the Alpha passed away. I was in awe of his bravery during the fight with the bear. The playfulness of the little thieves in the trees filled me with joy, and I couldn't help but laugh at the bird who hide and forget its treasure. Everything was perfectly organized and narrated with such dignity. It's simply the most amazing video I've ever watched on UA-cam. Gracias!.

This is spectacular! I didn't expect to be moved to tears. It's not easy to a be wolf in todays world. The She wolf had my heart all the way. Breathtaking filming. So glad to see 3 species begin to recover and humans finding humane solutions to livestock protection. ✨💙🐾🐾❤🌄. Thank you for making this documentary.

I put this on to sleep to, but it was so well done and kept me glued, no way could I sleep. Well done, it reminded me of why I love the natural world so much and why we can take so many lessons from it. Love the relationship between the nutcracker and the tree and the way the trees work together, everything does in it's own unique way.
How wonderful the world would be if we all took these lessons to heart. ❤😊

The film makers killed the alpha male for our viewing enjoyment. The film makers went to great lengths to set the scenes they filmed, and staging was very difficult.

A fascinating and well-done documentary.
My heart was beating for the she-wolf for such a sad end she had with her mate, the Alpha, and more importantly, how she managed to raise all her 6 cabs under those difficult situations. I thoroughly enjoyed this documentary.
The She-wolf teaches us all to be more resilient when the tough gets going, plain and simple. That ravening creature truly rose to such a difficult task, she refused to be another prey of time and fought tooth and nail to find a new beginning. Glad she could start all over again, with its cubs so healthy and protected.

This was the best documentary I've seen, so much life, so much point of view, so many different actors and great messages. Beautiful life. HOW COULD THEY FILM THIS, no for real how did they even be able to do this I'm baffled, flabbergasted, someone has noclip and they hiding it.
And in the end when the bird came back it felt like avengers end game. My favorite documentary and I will watch it with again with sound this time.
