A lot of this seems very unnecessary, looking at mine it seems you could easily pull the headliner down on the sides just a tiny bit and tuck the wire in
No, the power comes from the head unit. The head unit controls when the rear camera is powered. You can have a head unit that turns on the rear camera when it wants.
I bought it on AliExpress. I can't fully recommend it because the holes were advertised to fit and they didn't. I don't *not* recommend it, but I can't fully endorse it here.
sorry I might be misunderstanding, the screw holes didn't line up and I didn't feel like buying another camera so that was my way of adapting I considered a camera that bolts to the back of the license plate but I didn't to make holes in the Cayenne body for the wire

That is a valid approach. In hindsight, probably even better than trying to fish it through. thanks for sharing
i am assuming the camera is only powered with the lights are powered right?

Why are you removing both sides??
If I understand the question correctly - why remove glass window trims on both sides - it’s to be able to remove the main hatch trim
@@RuslanVideoFilms Yes, I was wondering why you removed both A & B Pilar sides. But later in the video you ended up dropping the roof lining.
why did you cut the camera? "bolt-on" is available.

You don’t have to do this the camera wiring is already in your stock broken camera all you have to do is put them through the rear door
what a great tip. thank you for sharing
