Frank standing up to start roaming while playing and looking down at the camera made me feel like a regular Greek citizen looking up to see Zeus just casually stroll down Mount Olympus. That was awesome.
what a nice product! couldn't feel any delay, even after little strucks two floors distant, it kept its pace. I'm sure you could still find a strong spot in a room where signal shouldn't reach. like "yea, we are 5 floors away... but if you sit in that chair I settled a week ago" noone knew my guy were secretly rocking the kasbah from the basement
Seems great. I used to use a Line6 in my previous band, but they tend to get huge problems with dropouts when there are many signals in the air. There were five systems going at once and if you add the in-house Wi-Fi, wireless mixing console and the register in the bar, things were getting a bit dicey. So I sold my Line6 (actually two of them because I thought the first one was broken) and starting using cables again, because I will rather trip over my cable than having a wireless ruining my mood during a show. Line6 also had the worst customer service I have ever encountered.
Sadly theyre quite rare and don't pop up for sale much, but the models you're gonna want to look for are; SB-2A - The original bass that inspired the later SBV series with the offset contoured bodies (extremely rare) SBV 500 - Jazz + Jazz pickup SBV 550 - Jazz + P-bass pickup (My personal fav as it sounds like a hotter BB-1024X and it sounds absolutely god-tier for punk and metal with just aa little overdrive!!) SBV 800MF - Miki Furukawa signature model (based off the SBV-550) The SBV "Flying Samurai" basses from the 2000s had a range of other colours as well, such as a metallic red, yellow, sea foam green and silver. Oh, and if you're wondering what the tone of the SBV-550 is like because of the P/J pickup config... I'd recommend you take a listen to the following tracks; POLYSICS - I My Me Mine POLYSICS - Everybody Say No SUPERCAR - Lucky
As somone who has dealt with latency in my DACs before on a computer... I can whole-heartedly attest to this. Latency when you're playing an instrument is almost as bad as if you have a mic monitor on and it has a half a second delay between you talking and the output reaching your ears.
I got rid of my old Sennheiser when that proprietary belt pack cable failed, and a replacement was like $45 or some ridiculous price like that. I see they've come down to $30... Also, that tiny antenna sticking out of the belt pack is easily broken. Seriously, it's been 10 years, I still can't believe Sennheiser is SO lazy that it has never occurred to them to improve these designs. I wonder how other brands function without that dangling little wire?
There is a huge difference between plastic usage in construction and single use packing. And the receiver case looks like powder coated sheet metal....

Good morning Gregor and Frank. Could you imagine a house being haunted by the ghost of Frank? Walking around, playing bass? How wonderful.
The world's most inviting haunted house.

I love the jam Frank was doing as he walked down the stairs. Great walking music! 😁

How is it for active basses?
Stu Mckenzie uses the guitar version if this sometimes
Who is the guy playing bass?
How was the latency on the unit? Even sitting 5' from the amp a little latency can drive you nuts.
there's close to none latency

Thanks!

658 euros in Italy, instead 648 euros in all other countries ...this is racism!! -.-
Frank needs to be in a marching band. Imagine him in New Orleans.
FRANK
That blue bass is just hideous 🤮
No more plastic? So the receiver case is made from 100% metal? I don't think so... Another example for hollow marketing phrases, how sad.
The products are meant to be used, this is about the packaging

don't be pedantic.
