I'd say Youthanasia is kinda mid. it begins pretty solid but side B is full of filler. cryptic writings, on the other hand, is a perfect commercial album by them and countdown to extinction is better than youthanasia too. IMHO

Sweating bullets is my favorite Megadeth song. I mean it's your list, so you can put whatever you want in it but I really don't get why you put Sweating Bullets at last, it's such a banger. The verses when he talks are heavy af, the chorus that slightly changes every time is sick, the overall atmosphere is very catchy, the tempo change in the middle hits hard and the solo is actually great. Oh and the music video is absolutely a masterpiece, because what's better than seeing Dave Mustaine play? Seeing 18 Daves, of course! So yeah... I think it is an absolute banger and "Hello me, meet the real me!" never gets old. Love you! Your videos are great! Keep uploading!
I love the doctor is calling on Risk, which is a good album even if it has a few fillers. If the world needs a hero had the song kill the king on it more people would dig it. I like the title track, disconnect and dread a lot.
Fuck yeah, Five Magics is my favourite too. IMO it rivals the ToS solo, the way it blends with the intensity of the drums and rhythm guitar, the triple bass gallops on the kick drum... arguably one of the best riffs on the whole album
There is something special going on there. You got this brutal riff coming in and out and then you got this absolute bitter twisted solo. Hits a spot others cant hit.

I may be the only megadeth fan in the world who disagrees that rust in peace is their best album. I’ve been a fan since 1991 and know every song/album extensively but the one that I always come back too is the newest album The sick the dying and the dead. Just hits the mark for all eras of megadeth and killing time is my favorite megadeth song of all time so for me that’s the best album.
I just simply don't get the hate towards Super Collider. When I first heard it, I was just amazed. Sure, it's not metal, but the songs are still decent and catchy.
5:47 How is the guitar tone bad? It's pretty much the same one from all of the earlier albums. Production also isn't bad, say that to Dystopia, with a heavily distorded and loud album, with no dynamics at all (except for a few songs), and not even taking some of the laziest writings in a Megadeth album (at least, in my opinion. You cannot say to me that Dystopia is unpar with Rust In Peace or any other thrash album with a straight face).
(MY OPINION) The first half of that album is flawless. Rattlehead and Skull Beneath The Skin are underrated bangers, same with the title track. But after Chosen Ones, I don’t care as much.
I remember listening through their entire catalog and listening through cryptic-TWNAH was one of the worst experiences of me listening to music ever TWNAH was so bad and besides DATFM, all of the songs are so boring. Listening to "When" had to be one of the worst things ive ever done
