I have no problem with the Ruger RXM. It's priced competitively, it fixes the grip angle, has a much better optic mounting solution, it's modular and it has support from Magpul one of the largest aftermarket manufacturers on the planet. If they get additional grip modules in additional colors and magazine lengths, PCC / PDW modules on the market ASAP at an affordable price this platform will skyrocket. The Gen 3 Glock 19 has become to the pistol World what the AR-15 is to rifles. We don't call a Daniel defense an ArmaLite or Colt clone. So let's just call it the G3-19 platform. Everyone's going to make one and put their own twist on it.
I understand your point but I still just don’t agree with or like it and that’s ok we can agree to disagree as we support the same Second Amendment rights
I agree with both of your points. American gun company’s now lack innovation all they do is follow glocks pattern. Just tweak a certain thing and Marketing. Marketing Marketing keep the stock prices up. One of my fav brands is CZ. They at times lack innovation also but they never stop refining. It’s funny that I had to get back into a upgraded hundred year old platform to see innovation by smaller American company’s
@@GSquaredTactical I understand what your saying. I'm not in the market for a Glock 19 or a clone. But if you look at it objectively there are a couple things that can't be denied. The Glock 19 is one of the most sold handguns on the planet. If someone walked into their local gun store looking for a Glock 19, the clerk lays down a G19 and an RXM, if they are equally reliable, the RXM at the time of purchase is the better move. If Magpul and Ruger follow up with additional accessories, slides, grip modules, PCC/PDW options, then it's the best option for future expansions on the platform.
This is why I stick with Glock, there is a reason why there design hasn’t changed and why so many companies make clone. Hard to beat perfection. I do have to say cz is hard to beat the quality to price ratio love my s2c
Glocks suck get a canik, you will not have to change out nothing and they dont make a trigger that better than what most caniks have lol even if you get it polished!
You're absolutely right! That's exactly why I don't like glocks. I'm not buying a $300 gun much less a 7 or 800 that I have to turn around and put $200 trigger in. Period. It cost the factory $5 more to make a decent trigger a great trigger. Canik and walther do it all day long.
Glock is a totally different trigger design. It has 3 safeties engineered into it. Glock trigger is a double action, Walter trigger is a single action. Canik is a Walther copy. Glock will never have a trigger like Walther. I can shoot a Glock style trigger just fine, and for conceal carry, pointing the barrel at my own body at times, I carry a Shadow System 😂
I have a Canik tp9sf Elite...beautiful piece of work and killer trigger. Also have a Glock 43X...I like that also, but it feels like I paid more and got less.
I have all three of the shields and both full-size versions they work perfectly for me. I like the S&W line but I don’t have the comp versions. I don’t understand why folks watch content they don’t like just to give the creators a hard time. It’s simple if I don’t like it I don’t watch. I appreciate your input. Nice work hope you and yours have a great new year. Thank you for your time.
Everybody is entitled to their opinions. I have 2 G-19s and have loved them for a long time, in spite of the slide bite issue. As my hands age, though, the ergonomics of my G-19s no longer allow for comfortable shooting. I purchased an RXM because it is essentially a G-19 with better economics and comfort. And I like it. So, clone or not, copy cat or not, there is a market.
@ I don’t have super big hands but the 45 fit like a glove! Loved the feel. I’m a 45 guy. I have an old WW I 45 that was my father in law’s father’s gun in the 1 war! Love it. Shoots amazingly accurate!
@ yea my favorite is a 1911 stainless colt with a custom Diveci trigger I had installed years back with a finger grove rubber grip panel. Shot very nice.
Thank you for your honesty. I can confirm the pins issue on Shield Plus. Also, most of the magazines will not fully load unless you trim some of the plastic at the bottom of the spring. Compare a mag that you can fully load and the one you cannot and you can see where they missed out in the QC area. Magazines that came later with the Equalizer are usually good.
Yeah the pins walked out on the Shield Plus CC and that’s why it would prematurely lock back but I never done a video on it because of the extreme hate and YT warmings. People just don’t want to hear anything negative about something they bought or want to buy or a brand they love
I don't understand why anyone gets emotional about brands. I picked up a CZ P10C with installed Holosun SCS for $589. But I sold it because I felt like the grip texture was too aggressive for me. But that doesn't change the fact that objectively it's a good gun at a great value.
Yes sir and CZ is my favorite brand but the fact you didn’t care for it doesn’t surprise me not every gun is for everyone. Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I appreciate the video. I just purchased the RXM. I was basically just curious and I try to support American made products. Haven’t shot it yet so no feedback yet from me.
A lot of people don’t unfortunately. They stay away from straight talk because they want to hear you agree with them about their favorite firearm or one they purchased
Sturm, Ruger & Company was founded by William B. Ruger and Alexander McCormick Sturm in 1949 in a small rented machine shop in Southport, Connecticut. Just prior to their partnership, Bill Ruger had successfully duplicated two Japanese "baby" Nambu pistols in his garage, from a captured Nambu that he acquired from a returning Marine, at the close of World War II. When it came to designing the Company's first product, Bill Ruger designed a semi-auto pistol that incorporated the looks of the German 9mm Luger P08 and the American Colt Woodsman into their first commercially produced .22 caliber pistol (see Ruger Standard), which became so successful that it launched the entire company. Ruger is just sticking to their roots
IMO, Ruger makes nice .22s (rifles and handguns) and some decent revolvers. They have a few bolt action rifles worth owning as well. Not much else is up to snuff IMO. I'm not impressed they bought Marlin recently either. Marlin had their own legacy firearms prior to the Freedom Group buyout.
Have a Merry Christmas! I knew the RXM made your list😂. I’ve always figured in an Apex kit with the price of any Smith polymer, they just can’t get a trigger right(even the revolvers need time with a stone). On a positive note, the RXM pins stay put, and the trigger doesn’t suck😁
People laugh at Hi-Point but I'm here to say I repaired a C9 for a coworker buddy that was left in a crawlspace full of sand/dirt and moisture for years. The gun was completely rusted shut and packed full of mud/sand/dirt and wouldn't function or fire at all. I completely disassembled it and started getting out the PB Blaster and Kroil soaking the parts and cleaning it all up inside and out. I put it all back together with even the rusty old springs and it worked and functioned flawlessly. We ordered a complete rebuild kit for it off Ebay afterwards but still....for a $125 - $150 pistol that MOFO made the grade cut! You couldn't do any better for a cheap truck gun, boat tacklebox gun, toolbox gun or a garage/barn gun.
@JohnDoeEagle1 My new one never functioned correctly. Everyone told me to hang in there, just use it more and it will "break in". I hated it so much I didn't even think it was worth the effort to send in to the factory. Sold it with acknowledgement of the issues. Save a little money and buy better. That's what I learned.
I bought PX9 Duty and PX9 Carry from Tisas. Excellent pistols. I use the duty model for my local range's weekly competitions and have the Carry model in my rotation.
Do you have any issues with the trigger resetting ? My buddy bought the PX9 carry very accurate grip is very nice but so far in the first 100 rds it ejects and loads fine but like 5 or 6 times the trigger did not reset at all ! but there was a fresh round in the chamber sooo idk
@HorsepowerDr never had anything like that. My daughter tends to baby the slide forward, and with the PX9's, it can cause it not to go into battery but never had the trigger not reset.
@HorsepowerDr I will say SDS Imports (Tisas/Tokarev/MAC/etc) has pretty good customer service. My buddy got one, and the front sight notch was slightly crooked. He sent it in, and they had him a new slide in about a week and a half. Hopefully, it all works out. I really like these pistols and have been telling everyone about them, so I hate to hear about the bad experience.
I respect your opinion on the Ruger. I'm a CZ fan myself and would like to have a G19 size carry gun. I had thought about this gun because of the Glock aftermarket but then there is the P10C which can be scored for the same or lower priced. Does the P10C fit in Glock holsters? I also hear that the mags in the P10 will work in the P07 and vice versa which I already own.
It’s tough Sam with all of the new releases and people wanting to see them and me having to buy them with my own money and then spending sometimes in excess of $1200 a month on ammo. It’s just really tough to follow back up with some of these. That’s why I have so heavily encourage people to go over and support me on Patreon and or donate a super thanks through youtube. Also I have lost almost 1200 subscribers today so UA-cam is into their traditional politic BS unsubscribing people. So even if you think you are subscribed, just check and make sure but I will do my best.
Thank you for being so honest. The very first time I shot my Shield Plus, I experienced a lot of quality control issues. The magazines were trash. The trigger pin walked out before it made it to 200 rounds. I have big hands. It just wasn't a comfortable experience at all. The texture, in my opinion, was the best. But ergonomically, I would take the Canik METE MC9 over the Shield Plus any day.
Ok so here is the issue with the carry comp trigger shoe rubbing the slide lever blue pin inside the frame on the left side, the trigger shoe rubs it if leftward pressure is applied to the trigger, I had the issue myself, but it wasnt bad enough to cause slide lock when shooting, THE FIX, APEX TRIGGER 100% RESOLVES ISSUE, the trigger shoe is slimmer/thinner, I tried to push it leftwards to induce issue and not possible, my 2 cents... if you own a m&p id swap triggers anyways because apex trigger in a m&p is best trigger in a striker fired handgun period, shortest reset possible, even more than a walther pdp performance trigger and timney in a glock, easy fix but yes its a issue the factory should of noticed out the gate, I added a floyds edc magwell, +2 basepad, +6 basepad and its one badass pistol, 21 rounds or 17 rounds, the 17 round basepad is same length as OEM 15 round basepad 😂 btw the apex polymer trigger is only $70 😂... your wife shot the m&p carry comp better than most professionals in your review video lol
My man G… appreciate you honest opinion on firearms. My M&P 2.0 trigger is actually decent…but hey to each is own everybody is different… i ain’t feeling that RXM at all…keep the vids coming bro. Salute!
I have & shoot the Sig P365 and P365XL. Then having to send these back to Sig for repair 3 times EACH. Had 2 dead triggers on my P365XL. Sig replaced the barrel, slide, & extractor the 3rd repair on my P365. Each having less than 10,000 rounds through them. So I bought a PC S&W Shield Plus with a 4" ported barrel. It shoots better than the Sigs but it did go back to S&W rice for repairs. I like it better than the Sigs because it was still able to shoot even when it gave problems. Iiked it so much I bought the 3.1" version of the Shield Plus. I originally bought a Ruger LC9S Pro & when after the 3rd time sent in for repair Ruger couldn't fix it but gave me a new Ruger free of charge. I picked out a SR9C. I just got it back from Ruger's repair shop. I bought a 1st Gen CZ P10C & when sent back to CZ for firing pun breakages they sent me back a new 2nd Gen P10C with needed upgrades, except for the trigger shoe problems which require a 3rd party trigger shoe. This is now my most reliable pistol. I liked it so much I bought the P10F, & after changing its trigger shoe, talon grips, & $110 porting job, the red dot doesn't leave the window while shooting. The slides are interchangeable also. All my pistols are now running great, but when any goes down the OEM's are there to put the pieces back together. I also haven't seen the need to buy another pistol as there is nothing on the market now that will outshoot anything I have now, except a ported or comped 1911 or 2011. That could be my next purchase!
I feel the exact same way about comping a micro compact gun (though Shield Plus is already bigger than most micros); makes it not compact enough after doing that. And the $800-ish metal M&P this year looked cool but the trigger was garbage on the one I found. That said, the old 9mm Shield and the EZ .380 have both been good value purchases.
I do have to say I had the Shield 2.0 with the hinged trigger and I loved it so I bought the new shield comp and it's fine but the Canik mc9l is better and cheaper. The recoil is so close to the same you can't tell the difference, has a better trigger in the Canik and more capacity.
@@GSquaredTactical and thats where I have to agree with u on the point of USA companies need to do better. Nothing will ever be perfect but there shouldn't be this many quality control issues
I got the M&P 2.0 Metal Carry comp. The trigger reset does suck. I put a Ed Brown recoil guide rod with 13lb spring & the Apex forward set trigger in it. Made it way better. My Springfield Echelon(great optic mounting system) & Hellcat pro (my edc) have been reliable also, but haven't tried the Prodigy. Great content as usual. 🇺🇸👍🏽
I share the exact same logic as you on these comped CCW pistols. A comp on a CCW pistol makes no sense, it's loud and gives concussion for not very much recoil reduction including wasting valuable velocity that could have been utilized for that extra overall length being added (rather give me 3.7 inches of usable barrel length instead of only 3.4 inches for the same overall length). It's already painful enough to shoot an uncomped short pistol without ear pro in a life or death situation (as that is what the shield was made for), now I'm going to add more concussion and flash defeating the whole reason why I spend money on top tier SD ammo due to it having low flashpoint proprietary propellants. As always great content with a rational and reasonable take on matters.
Biggest problem with a comped or ported pistol is gas and lead fragments. Shooting from retention in a car could literally blind you if that stuff gets in your face.
@@MF-Rell Correct if we are talking about 3.5 inches and up, but when we go into the sub 3.5 inch domain, we start seeing 75 to 100fps differences that becomes significant.
Red dot optics are also incredibly dumb and unnecessary on carry pistols...especially on compacts and micro compact pistols. That's a "new guy/gal" fad and trend. Learn how to shoot the right way with iron sights, carry a more reliable platform and save yourself hundreds of dollars.
@@JohnDoeEagle1 I actually fully agree with this statement. I have wasted a bunch of money on firearms, and even I don't spend the money on red dots....unless we are talking rifles. Getting a 1911 for Christmas and it already has a dot on it, so whatever.
I’ve owned and sold over 40 pistols sold em all and narrowed it down to keeping the shield 2.0 with integrated green crimson trace( Probly favorite), a shield plus with smsc, Kahr p380 and a XD mod 2 service. I’ve had 7-8 Glocks and got rid of em all. Would like a 43xmos or 48mos. Wish we could just Frankenstein our fav parts of each gun. I’ve never owned a canik and hear good things about em.
i got the m&p 2.0 aluminum frame, the trigger is really nice but it has that same no click reset, it was about 800$. the pdp 5" compact we picked up has the best trigger on any gun ive handled so far, $519 + the optic rebate made it a great deal IMO.. we have a q5 match m2 (eurooptic has them for $640) and the pdp is ever so slightly better. the smiths trigger is great but the reset makes no noise, i agree id rather feel the click on the reset. we picked up a canik mete sf (apocolapse edition its sweet) and the trigger on that matches the walthers, im pretty sure they stole the expired patent.
I Bought my Handguns and built them to my likings. I have a 9mm Shield Plus and installed a 3 5/8 inch True Precision Threaded Barrel, and added a Hogue Grip. I had to do some work on the Factory Trigger dragging against the Frame. I also have a 9mm Shield. Upgraded the Trigger (found out when doing the Trigger Job. Pulling the Trigger to hard with the Safety on will damage the Trigger Bar). Added New Sites, Installed a 3 5/8 inch Threaded Barrel from Faxon, and a Hogue Grip. With new Barrels my Shields has better Stability, and is more Accurate. Reliability 100 percent. I also have a SD9VE, Upgraded Trigger, and changed Slide Bar and Slide Take Down to Stainless Steel. I also have a M&P 40cal Police trade in , No upgrades needed (Police did the upgrades). I also Have a Bersa Thunder 380cc, Bersa TRP380 Plus 15 rounds, and Bersa TRP45c. No Not any one ever had a malfunction. Even with no Optics ready. After Upgrades I am happy with all my Handguns. But I did spend a lot of Money. The only Sticker Fired Hand Gun I found that I could buy without any upgrades to do is the CZ P10c. But founding one to buy is another thing. If I bought a Glock I would still do upgrade to my likings.

I've owned 6 shields the original, shield plus and three 2.0 shields. I currently have the 2.0 compact in 40 cal, great shooting nice trigger, also have the carry comp decent trigger no problems but the comp doesn't make much if any difference, lastly the 380 bodyguard 2.0 which has been great with the exception of the sights being way off which had to be moved.. I had one shield plus that the trigger was average at best but accuracy was horrible, I found that the barrel had quite a bit of lateral movement in the slide and this was a new gun, the other shields had feeding issues as well as accuracy issues. I sent them back to S&W, one barrel looking like it had been finished with a rat tail file. Q/C seems to be an afterthought with S&W. They sure don't make them like the Bangor Punta years. I tried an RXM and the trigger was true grit, why can't Ruger make a decent trigger on their polymer guns.
I have a Performance Center Shield Plus (ported from factory). I love it. It shoots great, but it flings shrapnel vertically through the ports (like all ported guns), so I'm looking for a replacement.
I went gun shopping last night and the best deal that I found was the mod 3 Springfield for $299 at academy sports. I didn't get it though, I have just too many pistols that I don't even shoot. I was looking for a new carry gun, a new m&p shield plus, no comp but they are still in the $500 range. I'll just wait. I carry the gen 1 shield in 9mm. Edit: Someday I will be able to afford the Wilson Combat carry pistol in 9mm, that's my dream gun.
I bought the combat first came with 3 20 round magizines the Str9 from Buds had 2 16 magizines and compact only 1 13 round but all their magizines work in all of their guns I have to take the mag well off of the combat for the 16 round to work. Now I'm looking to MC because all the magizines will work in this one.
I like the trigger on my Shield Plus. It's not my favorite. My favorite is on the Kimber CDS9, but that gun is $1000. What is a better one for less than $750? Canik TP9 METE MC9? CZ P10? PDP? IWI Masada Slim?
Great video. Anyone giving you grief should do their own review. I happen to like the trigger on my M&P2.0. However I agree they’re aren’t close to the best striker fired trigger. I enjoy your opinions and you’ve got a super nice Gladiator. Keep the videos coming. God Bless you Brother
Jeep Heep? Ugh. I’m offended. You are discriminating against us diesel guys. Cater to us Mr. Genius. That is if you’re a genius as your nickname is. Also I am offended because you don’t have any Kleenex for me to wipe my tears from crying because you are wearing a jeep hoodie, you aren’t wearing a CZ hoodie, you blink your eyes more than I do, your wall is yellow, and you start off saying “It’s your boy”. I’m only joking with you bud. Way too many people out here crying in your comments. I have been following you and your friend for a long time. You guys have always put out good content. Keep it up. The G19.3 is a solid platform. I chose the Dagger Compact version for fun. The thing is a dream though. Easy to work on, runs, eats whatever I feed it. It only sits because when it comes to striker guns(even though I am a Hammer fired guy)…..my P-10C is my go to. Other than that I stay on my P-07/P-09 if I need a polymer gun. If it’s an aluminum/steel frame my A-01, P-01, SP-01, 75D PCR, 75, S2C, DW DWXc is my go to. You are spot on with the Taurus G3 trigger though. I hate that I got rid of mine. It shot excellent, trigger took a little getting used to then it was like riding a bike.
Well, no need to be offended. My CZ shirt is being washed. I will wear it just for you next time. lol us CZ boys has to stick together. Also no need to be offended by the jeep I have a 3500 diesel truck and when the mud clears up I will drive it in your honor. Lol thanks for your years of support. You know people are crazy.
@ brotha tell me about it. Dang if you do, dang if you don’t. You can’t please everyone. Some people just develop a disorder for crying about everything. I always say like this and it isn’t being rude to your followers or any of the other content creators…..”If they want you to do this or that and get angry about what YOU are choosing to do on YOUR channel, then they can make content of their own”. BTW 3500 driver as well. An honor to be watching good content from a fellow 3500 diesel guy, CZ ambassador and a gun enthusiast. Yeah, I am passing on the Ruger because I have a Dagger Compact and P-10C to put me in that Glock 19 group. No need to by another Glock like pistol. I wish I never let my Taurus G3 go. That dark Peanut butter Brown with a black slide. I was going to send off to get killed but got rid of it and my Officer Riggs 92FS for a DW DWXc. Well let me know if you need a go fund me to pass out Kleenex to the whiners. I’m open to donate for a good cause. Lol.
Both Shield plus had issues for me. Most common one was the slide stop spring popping out from the side. I just can’t understand how every review for this gun is always glowing review.
Let me just put it in perspective for you. What has happened to my channel today is proof that people come on UA-cam just to validate their purchase or their brand. I battled with myself as to whether or not to even put this video up my wife can tell you of that struggle because I knew I had to be honest about what was actually disappointing to me and I knew how pissed off the Smith fan boys would get and boy did they ever. I have lost almost 1000 subscribers today and I know without a doubt is because two of my most disappointing of the year was Smith. Just further proof that the only reason people subscribe was because they thought they would hear what they wanted to hear because they probably subscribed after listening to a video that was positive about a gun they like. But I don’t care at least I got some traction and when this life is over telling the truth will have worked out a lot better for me than kissing butt.
@@trentroberdeau1462 Canik pistols are probably the most overhyped and overrated pistols of all time. They add a bunch of bells and whistles the LARPer and tactitard crowd goes gaga over while the pistols themselves aren't made to the same standards of quality like a GLOCK, HK, Walther, Beretta, Sig Sauer are made. I ran a combat course put on by a SWAT firearms instructor and the Caniks were the only pistols that kept malfunctioning during the entire 8 hour class. "What you got there?" A Gen 3 GLOCK G-19 bro! Really?? Guess who shot the best scores as well.......
Hey Gene, ask you on another post your opinion /preference on a CZ p10 C or Echelon I forgot to put in the 365 Xmacro comped in those 3 choices. Like I said headed to LGS tomorrow hopefully. Thanks a million.
S&W definitely has bigtime QC problems right now. They need to get on it before they're reputation is permanently damaged. Makes me sad. Same with Ruger; I've had issues with both over the last couple of years. Ruger's customer service is magnificent, and S&W CS has been good with me, but you just can't trust their craftsmanship these days, even after you get it back. Our American companies can hire better, train better: they can do much better! Let's go!
Still have my m&p shield 45 no issues. Shield plus performance center trigger pin walked out and disappeared about 500 rounds, took about 6 weeks to get a new pin from sw. Still like the handgun but I do not trust that a pin will not walk out again. Sw m&p shield 1.0 worst trigger I have owned and hardest gun to rack the slide. I still do like sw.
S&W M&Ps of any variety are a PITA to get replacement parts for. If you look around they either aren't available or are chronically "out of stock". You are then stuck dealing directly with S&W. Ever since the move from Massachusetts to Tennessee quality and customer service has taken a giant hit and went downhill fast. Cheap labor and overhead only goes so far if the manpower remains qualified and cares. The temp agency and new hire people making $13 an hour aren't going to be qualified the same way as the people making $25 who cared and have been employed with you 20+ years. Most of the old timers and long 20, 30, 40+ year employees didn't take the transfer and retired. I am more of a old vintage and pre 2005 S&W revolver guy but have a few semi-autos too. My newest is a .460 Magnum I have on order coming soon in a few weeks. I hope that one is made a little better because of it's price tag and also the very powerful round it fires. Don't want that SOB coming apart or blowing up on me obviously!
I thought about picking up a RXM but there was an Echelon 4.0c and that thing is amazing and it seems like the RXM is just alright but cheap I suppose. Also kind of wish they had done a little more than fix some issues with the Glock.Anyway, have a great Christmas!
I love how people can be so offended by a review, if they don’t like what they hear. There are a ton of reviews out there , where the reviewer likes everything.People are so sensitive and everyone has theiropinion. I personally like the honesty. I ordered a CZ P 10 because of this channel and am sure my P10 C will be a great first gun. Thanks for the honest info🇺🇸🙏🏼
That is funny (not "ha ha" funny but I was thinking the same thing) that you mentioned that comping a micro compact will just make it regular sized. I thought that same thing. I think that comping a micro makes it fun and cool, but defeats the purpose of it being small.
I appreciate your honesty, please continue to provide your unbiased opinions and findings. Most UA-cam channels are bs. Having a different opinion gives you credibility.
Believe me when I tell you, I did not want to trash talk an American company. I literally sat in the recliner while my wife looked at me and said aren’t you going to film that video? I said yes, but I’m trying to think of something else, I was more disappointed in than the S&W’s because I do not want to trash talk to them besides the fact that they are a good American company. I also know how much hate I’m going to get in the comment section, but if I’m not truthful now, everyone is going to find out later.
@@DPM-dp9on watch my subscribers fall today. It’s wild how someone will sub because they like something you said about a gun and then unsubscribe simply because they don’t like what you said about another
@ I understand your predicament. I am the same way and always look for an American product as my first option. However, not to be dramatic, but a choice in firearms can literally be a life or death decision. I still carry a Glock 26 because in over 10,000 rounds I have never had a failure of any kind. God bless. Merry Christmas.
And from the bottom of my heart, I am glad that it is. I’m glad that anyone’s pistol is reliable for them however, I hope you saying that is not trying to discredit or undermine my experience as so many people do. Because of course just because yours have been great or even 10,000 others have been great. It does not change the fact that all but one of the shields I have owned have went back for warranty Some of them twice. Heck I have emails to prove that Smith just started sending me the parts to fix it myself. Some of the things that happen was within the first 100 rounds on my original shield plus the trigger bar broke, the spring broke on the slide lock. On my shield carry comp the rear site broken half and hit me in the face on camera within the first 50 rounds. Most recently I put up a short of a M&P 2.0 that was delivered with the site on backwards you can’t make this stuff up
If they ported or comped a shorter barrel you would lose too much velocity that would result in poor ballistic performance and most likely cause cycling issues
Really any polymer hand gun shouldn’t cost more than $350 . Idc how fancy people think they are it’s a plastic gun . They only get so good and tbh it usually the cheaper hated on brands that actually run relatively reliably. The fan boy stuff is 9 times outta 10 hyped up nonsense
You are correct on the Ruger RXM, there is other options that have the same features. The other option is the IWI Masada which has the removable fire control unit and has the option to use multiple red dot footprints. I have put thousands of rounds through my Masada and its reliable and shoots very good. I agree Ruger is a great company and they could have tried to make something new and original. The funny thing is they can do it.
I just sit here and watch the subscriber account go down. Doing videos like this shows me who is really behind me for the truth and who just subbed up because I said something they liked about a particular firearm and they were going to UNSUB at some point anyway because they’re sensitive little ears can’t hear anything negative about a gun they love. The silliness in this country. We call home.
You know, everybody wants something new including me. But its always a hell of a risk or you are going to pay for it. Glock has such a aftermarket its stupid not to have a version of it. But you are right, the rxm doesn't fit properly with all holsters it should and it wears on the a finish even faster. Same with the side release for lefties.
Bro, I already have two of those that were just pulled up in the last two weeks. Five best guns on 2024 and then another video of three most shocking guns of 2024. Have you not watched those?
It's interesting to me that you and The Honest Outlaw are at opposite sides of the spectrum with the Shield. The Outlaw is a great shooter with this gun.
Don’t believe everything you see on the Internet. The outlaw is shooting 100 yard steel targets with a 3 inch barrel and never misses or maybe someone is standing next to him with a frying pan near the mic
You know when something fails you over and over again it’s hard to be on any side. However, everyone likes something different and that’s ok it does make on right and the other wrong
I kinda want a CSX, but I saw (on YT) it may be discontinued. I compared it with the P938 Legion in the store, I actually liked the grip and capacity better but I went Sig. I might still get one but it won't be until spring or early summer... Merry Christmas to you and your family!
My daughter has a Shield Plus. She can’t shoot it accurately because it’s so snappy. I shoot it very well. However, the trigger has a false reset right before the actual reset. Also the rear roll pin that holds the trigger group in keeps walking out and snagging your hand.
@ Yeah they really need to get it together at S&W. I’m completely happy with my Echelon. It’s a shame you can’t get a good American made firearm anymore without paying a premium. And that doesn’t guarantee you get a good one. You should try a Tisas PX9 tactical. I think it would blow you away for the price.
It’s all preference. I have the M&P carry comp as well and I like the trigger. I shoot very good with it too. I recently got a Shield Plus. I haven’t shot it yet hopefully I don’t have any issues.
Like I said if you like it then hey everybody is different. I mean, I could get around the trigger thing no question about it as I’m not a trigger snob and have never been accused of being one, but those pins walking out of the frame are a dealbreaker for me. I mean, I’m sure I could get some slightly oversized roll pins instead of solid pins, but I just don’t feel I should have to.
@ yeah I hear that. Luckily I haven’t had that problem yet. I wouldn’t like that either. I been seeing a lot of qc issues with all M&P products lately.
Yeah I think I got all of them lol. I love S&W but what good am I putting content out there if I don’t tell the truth. It genuinely hurts me to say it. I love the BG 2.0 and I wanted to love this one
I figured the RXM would be irrelevant just from the way it rolls off the tongue. A similar but different thing happened with the CZ75 when other companies got ahold of the design. Tangfolio and many other companies made their own one offs since Eastern Bloc countries didn't have patents. Therefore, you could make your own CZ75 lookalike without funny men in suits knocking on your door.
S&W fanboys can be quite ridiculous. They've given us all kinds of grief for a video we posted showing the new Metal Comp sticking at a range day event we were at. We also had major issues with our Shield Plus PC model, and we eventually had to fix it ourselves because S&W couldn't do it. Not sure what's going on over there in the QC department, but they must have a bunch of dopers on the line or something. 😆
It’s crazy bro 5 of the last six S&W’s I’ve had had major failures and I got to the point that smith was just sending parts in the mail for me to fix myself and I have emails to prove it. However, somehow no one is talking about it. I guess because if you do the fanboys will try to shut you up. Heck I done a video showing pins walking out of the FCU and another with slide lock prematurely locking back because a spring was out of spec and I was told I was limp wristing and wasn’t cleaning it lol. The same people wanted me to throw it in a muddy, sandy pile and torture test it. 😂🤣😂. People will go to any extreme to validate their brand or purchase
@GSquaredTactical It's sad to see American manufacturers producing such poorly performing firearms. The new comp guns look SO good, too. What a waste ! 😏
Gene I love your honesty keep up the good work. I watched your videos on the Ruger RXM and a lot of other reviews on it, I was keeping an open mind about the gun then I held it at the store and I must say I will never buy the RXM.
As for the Riger RXM, I was also a bit underwhelmed by the finish. I don't own one, but I looked at it in a store. Anyway, I've seen a couple of videos and a handful of comments about the LCP Max and issues with rust-prone slides. I wonder if the RXM will have the same issue?
Well, that’s a fair argument, but I also know not just believe but know there are better Glock clone options than this if that’s what someone wants. Thanks for watching and for commenting and be sure to subscribe if you have not already. Hope you and your family have a merry Christmas.
Sounds like you know what your talking about? Sounds like a bunch of KAREN"ISH" minded know it alls out there. Keep up the good videos! I just purchased a RXM and can"t wait to get some range time in!
I really hope you like it and that it serves you well. Let me know what you think. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Way to sound off like you got a pair I appreciate that!! This review will definitely be taken under advisement!! they waited till the patient was up I honestly think it’s just business. That’s how It go.
S&W resets suck so hard! I thought when they came out with the metal carry comp, they made that thing look so badass, I was like, they had to have changed that horrendous reset for that model at the very least.. I was so disappointed when i put it in my hands and found it to be the same 💩 reset as ALL of the rest of them! I was like, wow, they still have their heads up their ass! So instead, I bought the Walther PDP SF 5". Things happen for a reason, and that PDP was one of my favorite purchases this year!
I agree with you. It’s crazy to me how that people will buy a certain brand and pay what someone would consider an astronomical price and make excuses for its shortcomings and act as though it was a pleasure to add a decent trigger or change out the springs to make the recoil response, better, etc., etc. which is crazy to me if you pay over $800 for a gun other than a optic or a rail light, I don’t think you should have to do very many upgrades if any at all it should be awesome out of the box
Just have to say how much I enjoy your videos. Tell it like it is and if your viewers can't handle it, maybe there in the wrong place. A question for you. If you had to choose between the Canik Mete mc9 LS or the Springfield XM Mod 3, which would you choose? Keep the Wick alive, it always looks good.
Well, that’s tough because the XD is obviously a very full-size gun and the MC9LS is more compact or what someone would even say so compact. If the two guns were in the same category, that would be a real tough decision but seeing that, I like most people gravity, more towards the carryable subcompact, I would have to say in the case of this one the MC9LS.
I haven’t watched a single video on the rxm even though a million content creators are trying to shove it down our throats right now. I just think it’s ugly and have ZERO interest in looking at it , hearing about it , or shooting it.
I couldn’t agree more and if you are gonna buy a clone, at least buy a good one. Thanks for watching and if you have subscribed, be sure that you check and then double check and hit the bell twice to get alerts because UA-cam just randomly unsubscribed 1200 people from my channel today and I bet none of them even know it.
Heck I never sent a gun back for warranty after 25 years until about 4 years ago. I’ve sent 6 back in 4 years and 5 of them where S&W and one Springfield that had finish issues
Indeed, as I said in the video, a lot of people do like the shield and just because I don’t understand that does not make them wrong. It’s just their opinion and I’m entitled to mine however that’s not the reason it made the most disappointing of the year it made the most disappointing because it spent more time back at the factory for warranty as did most of my S&W pistols. It has nothing to do with whether one person likes it or another person don’t it literally broke.
I got to see and handle one in person yesterday at a large local shop. I wasn't impressed by it and it was typical of the quality of Ruger semi-auto .380 and 9mm pistols. It was exactly how I imagine....a whole lot of bravo and no substance behind it. Hold a GLOCK in one hand and hold this in the other. If you can't visually see and feel a difference in quality something is wrong with you. Just because that Harbor Freight cordless drill looks similar to a Milwaukee M18 Fuel or Dewalt 20V Max doesn't make it so.
Now that’s a good comparison and you are exactly correct. People talk about Glock being $150 more but without ever talking about shot the quality difference can be seen. Thanks for watching
I just bought a 2.0 not the OG but the one with the straight trigger and the front fish scales. EVERY sales person at the store wants the new carry comp version and he tried to sell me on it, I said no thanks not what I said I wanted. I personally don’t like buying new guns until they work the bugs out. I was a little shocked at how much the sales guys were drooling over it with all the reported issues.
Fanboys loyal to the end. If some of these manufacturers crapped a perfectly formed turd and shaped it into a pistol they would make excuses for why it stunk
The shield 45acp shot ok but ever since I bought it the slide never locked back after last round, called manufacturer and they told me it was a break in issue needed to at least fire 500 rounds! I was like do you know how much money that is! Each round is 50cents geez! So update on the shield 45acp it’s no longer my problem! I will stick with a Glock simple as that! Oh funny thing is I even told the m&p shield manufacturer that I couldn’t recall ever needing to break in a Glock, he actually agreed with me lol!
I'll never understand the rabidity of the brand-apologists. Frankly, I'll never understand brand loyalty. People BUY stuff from a company and then defend that company to the death as though they got paid. I have an M&P 2.0 in 10mm. It is a pretty good gun for me. I like the ergonomics of the grip. The trigger is goofy though. It shoots fine but it does feel weird. I get the same thing "Put an Apex trigger in it." I'm sure that's great! But why? If Apex can make a good trigger for the M&P why can't Smith and Wesson? I can't figure out how Americans own more guns than anyone else but American gun companies have forgotten how to build a good gun.
Could not have said it better myself. Thanks for watching and for commenting and be sure to subscribe if you have not already and have a very merry Christmas.
I dont see an issue with the released handguns. This is actual progress. We are coming to a point where most manufacturers (not Glock) have decided to incorporate what the market actually wants in new releases. Will every one of these be incredible? Of course not. But we now have options, customization, calibers, sight mounting systems, etc that never existed. Do your homework and try before you buy. You can actually find an ideal handgun for YOUR hand.
Bul Armory Axe Cleaver, RIA Derya DY9, Shadow Systems DR920, Polymer 80 PFC9, ZEV, Faxon FX19 Hellfire, Lone Wolf Dusk 19 and the ZRO Delta 1. There are likely others but these are the only ones I’ve had experience with
I have no problem with the Ruger RXM.
Truth be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
The grip angle is huge to me.
That's the main reason I am selling my Blocks.
Yes CZ is my favorite brand. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
👍🏻
Yeah I’m sure
Glocks suck get a canik, you will not have to change out nothing and they dont make a trigger that better than what most caniks have lol even if you get it polished!
You're absolutely right! That's exactly why I don't like glocks. I'm not buying a $300 gun much less a 7 or 800 that I have to turn around and put $200 trigger in. Period. It cost the factory $5 more to make a decent trigger a great trigger. Canik and walther do it all day long.
That’s exactly right
I actually like the trigger in my 48 MOS. Maybe mine was assembled by the only sober Austrian at the factory 🤔
You don't value your life very much.
👍🏻
Everybody is entitled to their opinions. I have 2 G-19s and have loved them for a long time, in spite of the slide bite issue. As my hands age, though, the ergonomics of my G-19s no longer allow for comfortable shooting. I purchased an RXM because it is essentially a G-19 with better economics and comfort. And I like it. So, clone or not, copy cat or not, there is a market.
Thanks for watching
I liked the shield 45 also. The 9mm just don’t seem to fill my hand like the 45 ACP. Love it.
Yeah I kinda regret selling it but it’s readily available
@ I don’t have super big hands but the 45 fit like a glove! Loved the feel. I’m a 45 guy. I have an old WW I 45 that was my father in law’s father’s gun in the 1 war! Love it. Shoots amazingly accurate!
Yeah I’m on that 45 drug as well
@ yea my favorite is a 1911 stainless colt with a custom Diveci trigger I had installed years back with a finger grove rubber grip panel. Shot very nice.
Nice
Silly for selling,I just put talon pro grips on my p10s, For $299,Can,t beat it!
@@paulfrancois7653 cz p10's are nice pistols to Shoot-Better made than Glock!and Great prices now,P -10 S and F Owner,With optic ready
G... appreciate you as always. Wishing you and your viewers a great Christmas.
Merry Christmas to you as well
Thank you for testing all these guns and helping me save money.
Yes sir and thank you for watching
I appreciate the video. I just purchased the RXM. I was basically just curious and I try to support American made products. Haven’t shot it yet so no feedback yet from me.
Let me know what you think
I've just discovered your channel and I love the way you speak without a filter. I subscribe now.
I get what you are saying but change is necessary to compete
In comparison to the Smith, you would be correct, sir lol
You couldn't do any better for a cheap truck gun, boat tacklebox gun, toolbox gun or a garage/barn gun.
lol 😂 they are alright
@JohnDoeEagle1 My new one never functioned correctly.
Everyone told me to hang in there, just use it more and it will "break in".
I hated it so much I didn't even think it was worth the effort to send in to the factory.
Sold it with acknowledgement of the issues.
Save a little money and buy better. That's what I learned.
Yep
I bought PX9 Duty and PX9 Carry from Tisas. Excellent pistols. I use the duty model for my local range's weekly competitions and have the Carry model in my rotation.
I’ve never had a single issue with any Tisas I’ve ever owned. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Not sure about holster compatibility as I only use universal OWB leather belt holsters but this one can’t replace my P10 C not even close to
Love your honest reviews! BTW, will you ever get around to a long-term reliability review of your CZ P-09 Nocturne C? Thanks, Sam
U probably cant feel the reset which theoretically would make it smoother to shoot it fast. I think thats why they did that and it makes sense to me
Maybe for some. Like I mentioned if it works for someone they should buy if. Other than a few small things it was a great gun
Yes sir Ty for watching and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Thanks for sharing your experience
Agree.. I've had a few M&ps and the reset is light. My shield plus is audible.
Yeah SP trigger is slightly better
My man G… appreciate you honest opinion on firearms. My M&P 2.0 trigger is actually decent…but hey to each is own everybody is different… i ain’t feeling that RXM at all…keep the vids coming bro. Salute!
I could get over the trigger I really don’t care but for $800 should be better. However those pins walking out I can’t deal with.
I'm glad all the low budget handguns I bought are all 100% functional ...
That’s the truth
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts
I feel the exact same way about comping a micro compact gun (though Shield Plus is already bigger than most micros); makes it not compact enough after doing that. And the $800-ish metal M&P this year looked cool but the trigger was garbage on the one I found. That said, the old 9mm Shield and the EZ .380 have both been good value purchases.
Sweet glad you like them. Thanks for watching
I do have to say I had the Shield 2.0 with the hinged trigger and I loved it so I bought the new shield comp and it's fine but the Canik mc9l is better and cheaper. The recoil is so close to the same you can't tell the difference, has a better trigger in the Canik and more capacity.
#truth
I just got a hellcat pro for Christmas so it's obviously the best as of right now.
Haha I heard that
Congrats and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
The shield plus carry comp has been great to me
Sadly they failed me
@@GSquaredTactical and thats where I have to agree with u on the point of USA companies need to do better. Nothing will ever be perfect but there shouldn't be this many quality control issues
@@kaelinfisher6813 exactly correct sir
@kaelinfisher6813 truth
Ty sir
Thanks for the reviews. Im still gonna pick up an rxm.
If you like it one thing is for sure. It works!! Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
At most it's 50fps. It's not that big of a deal.
Caniks have been great for me but obviously there are those who haven’t had great experiences with them
Thank you sir! I appreciate what I perceive as unintentional humor! Appreciate your honest review!
Thank you and Merry Christmas
i got the m&p 2.0 aluminum frame, the trigger is really nice but it has that same no click reset, it was about 800$. the pdp 5" compact we picked up has the best trigger on any gun ive handled so far, $519 + the optic rebate made it a great deal IMO.. we have a q5 match m2 (eurooptic has them for $640) and the pdp is ever so slightly better. the smiths trigger is great but the reset makes no noise, i agree id rather feel the click on the reset. we picked up a canik mete sf (apocolapse edition its sweet) and the trigger on that matches the walthers, im pretty sure they stole the expired patent.

Thanks for watching and sharing your experiences and upgrade
I very much appreciate your straight up, no bullshit reviews!!

I can’t believe the hype and excitement over the RXM. It’s overpriced and offers little compared to others imho
I have a Performance Center Shield Plus (ported from factory). I love it. It shoots great, but it flings shrapnel vertically through the ports (like all ported guns), so I'm looking for a replacement.
Yeah it’s crazy how porter guns do that
👍🏻
I went gun shopping last night and the best deal that I found was the mod 3 Springfield for $299 at academy sports. I didn't get it though, I have just too many pistols that I don't even shoot. I was looking for a new carry gun, a new m&p shield plus, no comp but they are still in the $500 range. I'll just wait. I carry the gen 1 shield in 9mm.
Edit: Someday I will be able to afford the Wilson Combat carry pistol in 9mm, that's my dream gun.
Eww that thing is nice I’ve almost bought it several times. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Stoeger str-9 combat, Stoeger str-9 and Stoeger str-9c are my go to.
Str9mc aint bad either
Stoeger makes good pistol but can’t ever find them or magazines lol
@GSquaredTactical very true, I found the 10rd on Midwest gunworks but no 13rd anywhere
Yeah, I don’t know what the deal is. I’ve had my ST9 for two years and still have not found the extra magazine.
All of those yes lol. Thanks for watching and for commenting and be sure to subscribe if you have not already.
Ty sir and thanks for watching and supporting and have a great Christmas
My RXM is totally awesome!!! And the price? Even more awesome!
Nice I’m super glad you like it and I hope it continues to serve you well. Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
Jeep Heep?
Lol.
🤣😂🤣
I need a go fund for ammo
@@GSquaredTactical I hear you on that.
Both Shield plus had issues for me. Most common one was the slide stop spring popping out from the side. I just can’t understand how every review for this gun is always glowing review.
Paid shills and post Obama gun owner GLOCK haters be damned!
@@trentroberdeau1462
Canik pistols are probably the most overhyped and overrated pistols of all time.
X Macro Tacops
S&W definitely has bigtime QC problems right now. They need to get on it before they're reputation is permanently damaged. Makes me sad. Same with Ruger; I've had issues with both over the last couple of years. Ruger's customer service is magnificent, and S&W CS has been good with me, but you just can't trust their craftsmanship these days, even after you get it back. Our American companies can hire better, train better: they can do much better! Let's go!
Exactly do better
👍🏻
I thought about picking up a RXM but there was an Echelon 4.0c and that thing is amazing and it seems like the RXM is just alright but cheap I suppose. Also kind of wish they had done a little more than fix some issues with the Glock.Anyway, have a great Christmas!
You as well
I’m torn between a full size or compact echelon. I hated my Glock 19 and the compact seems like it’s very comparable. So I’m leaning full size
@@Jeffkeebz75 yeah if you're not into a compact pistol then the full size is the way to go.
Yes glad to hear about the CZ purchase. Let me know how you like it.
@ I sure will. I don’t have anything to compare it to, so I’m confident I will. I’m going to take some basic classes. Appreciate your insight!
Yes sir thank you
I definitely agree with that color being ugly on that rxm i don't know why they didn't make it black
I mean anything but that color
That is funny (not "ha ha" funny but I was thinking the same thing) that you mentioned that comping a micro compact will just make it regular sized. I thought that same thing. I think that comping a micro makes it fun and cool, but defeats the purpose of it being small.
Exactly, correct
Merry Christmas to you as well
I’ve had both versions of the shield never had a problem. . One of the most reliable compact pistols I own
And from the bottom of my heart, I am glad that it is. Most recently I put up a short of a M&P 2.0 that was delivered with the site on backwards you can’t make this stuff up
Same
If they ported or comped a shorter barrel you would lose too much velocity that would result in poor ballistic performance and most likely cause cycling issues
I mean if not done correctly maybe but there are plenty who have without issue.
To a degree I agree I guess
Yeah it’s wild. Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already and have a Merry Christmas
Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Put some Duracells in that time piece, son!
Haha but it is actually broken but was a gift from my daughter who’s room it used to be lol
Before the end of the year can we get a positive video on the 3 guns you like of 2024?

ua-cam.com/video/ht770eJDj4o/v-deo.html
I get the CZ’s are better than the RXM, but can you get optic cut versions for the same $?
Yes I can buy the CZ P10 C OR on Grab a Gun for $429 with $20 off for signing up so $409
I actually bought my CZ P10 C and F optic ready at Blackstone Shooting Sports in Charlotte NC for $399.99 plus tax
😂🤣😂🤣 I’ve thought that same thing like dang bro
Remember S&W is big on sponsorship and marketing, not quality.
I don’t want to believe that but I think you may be right
I agree with most of your thoughts on those pistols
Smith has really disappointed me in the last three or four years and I’m rooting for them to pull it together
I kinda want a CSX, but I saw (on YT) it may be discontinued. I compared it with the P938 Legion in the store, I actually liked the grip and capacity better but I went Sig. I might still get one but it won't be until spring or early summer... Merry Christmas to you and your family!
I just sold my CSX. Merry Christmas to you as well and keep some stuff on your short list
I’m in the same boat. As a lefty my choices are limited for full ambi. Maybe HK will make one in the future.
@@GSquaredTacticalwhy did you sell it? Malfunctions or just didn’t feel right?
My daughter has a Shield Plus. She can’t shoot it accurately because it’s so snappy. I shoot it very well. However, the trigger has a false reset right before the actual reset. Also the rear roll pin that holds the trigger group in keeps walking out and snagging your hand.
They do bro the pins walking out is what was making mine prematurely lock the slide back
@ Yeah they really need to get it together at S&W. I’m completely happy with my Echelon. It’s a shame you can’t get a good American made firearm anymore without paying a premium. And that doesn’t guarantee you get a good one. You should try a Tisas PX9 tactical. I think it would blow you away for the price.
Yeah I’ve always like Tisas
Have you ever tried the G Force Arms GF9?
No but now I guess I need to lol. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
@ I have been subscribed for a while now 👍🏽
Ty sir
@ you’re welcome
CZ and Canik are your best bang for buck rn imo 👌 and the XD mod3 9 is just crazy at 299😅
Yeah that mod 3 is the best value for sure.
I have the shield carry comp and that is huge for a carry gun. That is like a full size gun
Yes it is and makes no sense for a shield
I figured the RXM would be irrelevant just from the way it rolls off the tongue. A similar but different thing happened with the CZ75 when other companies got ahold of the design. Tangfolio and many other companies made their own one offs since Eastern Bloc countries didn't have patents. Therefore, you could make your own CZ75 lookalike without funny men in suits knocking on your door.
Yeah but they didn’t make any better than the original imho. Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
I know I got sucked right in. Henry, Staccato and sometimes Kimber are the only ones making anything worth having from the states

It’s just cheap man it really is. It’s a $249 gun at best. $199.99 on Black Friday special

I genuinely hope yours stays great. Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already
No sure but every LCP I had rusted. Thanks for watching and commenting and be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already

USA needs to do better for sure! I wish my best products were American.
That’s all I want and it’s like people are ok with subpar just don’t trash talk my favorite brand
Way to sound off like you got a pair I appreciate that!! This review will definitely be taken under advisement!! they waited till the patient was up I honestly think it’s just business. That’s how It go.
I guess who knows
Ruger did design it's own gun from the ground up. A fully American design made by Americans. The American Pistol... and no one bought it.
😂
S&W resets suck so hard! I thought when they came out with the metal carry comp, they made that thing look so badass, I was like, they had to have changed that horrendous reset for that model at the very least.. I was so disappointed when i put it in my hands and found it to be the same 💩 reset as ALL of the rest of them! I was like, wow, they still have their heads up their ass! So instead, I bought the Walther PDP SF 5". Things happen for a reason, and that PDP was one of my favorite purchases this year!
Yeah the triggers suck period
My shield roll pins walk out too... @150 shots as well. I stopped it with loctite.
That’s crazy isn’t it
This is exactly my argument with so many high end guns if I have to customize them after I buy them what’s the point in the price??
What kind of high end guns you talking about? What customizing?
Palmetto State Armory Dagger
I haven’t watched a single video on the rxm even though a million content creators are trying to shove it down our throats right now. I just think it’s ugly and have ZERO interest in looking at it , hearing about it , or shooting it.
Well you aren’t missing much
Brand Loyalty is lame as the Brand/Co. itself will not and is not loyal to the consumer. Just like the Gov...all about the moneys.
Man truer words were never spoken
I like Smith and Wesson but I really wish the fix the reset, and I seen other videos work it having issues
Yeah QC is seemingly nonexistent
@ yeah. I've been running my Cz p10C & caniks lately

So, Ruger is now making crappy Glock clones? Under the guise of Magpul? Makes total sense. Buy the Glock.

Glock sucks, go M&P
@ what makes M&P better?
Heck I never sent a gun back for warranty after 25 years until about 4 years ago. I’ve sent 6 back in 4 years and 5 of them where S&W and one Springfield that had finish issues
I like the shield plus. I think most people do.
Ok! Ok!
🤣😂
Okay tell us what’s better than the RXM please.
In Glock clones or in general
I don’t care for the aluminum frames at all. Maybe because where I live it’s -2° today!🥶
Lol
lol
The shield 45acp shot ok but ever since I bought it the slide never locked back after last round, called manufacturer and they told me it was a break in issue needed to at least fire 500 rounds! I was like do you know how much money that is! Each round is 50cents geez!
So update on the shield 45acp it’s no longer my problem!
I will stick with a Glock simple as that!
Oh funny thing is I even told the m&p shield manufacturer that I couldn’t recall ever needing to break in a Glock, he actually agreed with me lol!
Yeah just silliness
LUV UR HONESTY!!!! RARE CHARACTER QUALITY THESE DAYS!!!!! GOD BLESS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS... LUV THE CONTENT GOD BLESS... #GODWINS
Merry Christmas and thanks for the support
I can get on board with that
Please list the Glock clones referenced that you feel are better than the Ruger RXM. I may be in the market for one.
