Nice work. May be worth keeping some flux core mig wire on hand for when you run out of gas and want/need to keep working. its more clean-up but comes in handy in a pinch. seeing as you are grinding the welds back anyway, probably very little extra work.
I'm a 50 minute drive from the closest place I can get gas, but the local grocery store stocks some hardware supplies including gasless mig wire and grinder discs. comes in handy quite often.
