I'm super excited! I've been researching mice for years, and my parents finally said they'll consider it! Thanks so much for all your detailed mouse videos!!
When my friends come over they always ask me if im watching PEACHYPWTPARADISE again, and i say “Hell yeah?! She’s the most helpful youtuber out there?!”
I always used very tiny treats for training, broken up dry cat food, dehydrated fruit or vegetables or bits of whole grain Cheerios as treats when I trained. Also it’s so much more beneficial for them to scatter feed with mice versus other rodents.
How much does a mouse need ( how much mix, pellets, and fruits and vegetables per day) to eat per day and how many treats should be administered per day?
i’m so excited because i love your channel and i needed this video because i just got a mouse! his name is boba and he is in a 40 gallon breeder tank with TONS of toys, but i wanted to give him the best possible diet.
So glad I saw this video before I got my mice, I was told to only get pellets but the minute you said they need both I ordered some off Amazon. Thank you from saving my girls from boring food!
you might not see this... but i have 3 pet rats that are on a diet of the oxbow adult rat food (and obviously fruits and veggies) but i was wondering if i would be able to add something to the food for it to be okay for mice. I dont currently have mice but i am planning on getting them in the future. Is there anything i can add to make it ok? p. s. my rats are all adults so i dont think i could switch to the young rat and mouse food from oxbow. here are the percent's protein 15% fiber 5% fat 4% i know that the fiber isnt the best... but is there anything i can add to make it acceptable?
I can’t wait till I have enough money for mice:) I’m very excited, and thanks for the video I think I’ll try to mix about of the food u suggested with oats and flax seeds
Omg thank you so much I might get a mouse or 2 in 2018-2019-or-2020.. Can't Wait!! I'm doing sooo much research and this helps because I don't know what brand is healthy for them/her.
I really love your mice videos, which is something I am kinda missing on youtube. I recently started my own channel and I hope my mice videos will be as good as yours!
I personally feed Vitakraft Vitasmart complete nutrition parakeet food and mazuri mouse and rat as my staple mix, I add a few pieces of cat kibble (I'm thinking about switching that for mealworms) and I add around half a spoonful of oats. This is the only mix I've found my mice thrive on.
I just started surprise fostering some mice and I’m not sure what age they are i think they are around six months but I’m not sure do you have any tips?
I have a question!!! One of my Cats brought home a yellow necked mouse that I can't let out into the wild again because it's winter right now and it might not find it's den and winter food reserves again (Also the neighborhood is brimming with cats). So I decided to provide it shelter and food until it is warm enough outside that it can provide for itself again. My question is, can a wild mouse get used to a water bottle or should I continue to provide just a small bowl of water that I clean daily? I informed myself and I'm trying to stick to a diet similar to what the mouse would find in my area mixed with a bit of pet mouse food and the occasional bit of cat-food, so I was fairly confident that I'm good with food but I'm glad I know now that I should give the mouse sugary foods like little bits of apple or fresh berries too often. Thank you for all the helpful information, it's greatly appreciated.

0:53, so I've been using Vita forever and recently purchased Tiny Friends Farm for the heck of it, and they certainly behave differently than when I replenish their bowls with the usual vita, just not as interested and they prefer the vita. I'll be using a mix now. It will be of Vita, Tiny, and a pinch dried meal worms and friskier party mix for cats, will finish it off with a couple Wild Harvest Daily Blend pellets.
I am getting my first trio rats in three weeks! I was wondering if I could still burn candles in the room I'm keeping them in or if it would hurt their respotory systems?
If they are scented then I would not suggest it no, they could breath in the fumes and that could damage their respiratory systems so I would advise you do it in a different room to where they are :)
Awesome video this is super healpful! I’ve been doing TONS of research! I’ve already got bedding a food but I’m getting everything else in 3 days and getting my 2 female mice in 6! I actually found out my food is a littttle bit high in protein and a little low in fibre, but worst part is that I thought it was a mix and when I read it had corn at the pet shop I figured I could pick it out but then I opened it and found out it was pellets so I can’t take the corn out! They are also super strict in making sure they sell them to the right people and don’t give false info like tiny cages etc. Soryy for SUPER long comment I’m just soo excited

Hi, my hamster needs surgery and I can’t afford it sadly :( I was wondering if you know any programs that could help me pay for it or let me do a payment plan? I’m not sure how long she’ll be able to last :(

I personally dont think you should top up their food because they can become overweight or picky. That is what i learned from owning hamsters i know they are different but i think that would apply for both animals. 💖
Hi Peachy its ok if in the mix is 6,25% of fat and 8,5% of fibre , is it ok to feed? I know you don't have mice but you're videos are amazing! I love you're videos👍
just gonna point this out because I noticed it :0 Tropical carnival rat and mouse food has 10% fat, which is double the recommended amount- and more fat than what any of the kaytee rat and mouse food brands contain Mazuri rat and mouse has 22% protein, which is a higher protein percentage than any other mouse food on the market that I know about, which can be very dangerous and lead o hot spots on mice
But I've heard that the Tropical carnival rat and mouse food is great for mice. I don't have it in my country but I know mice owners that use it and I've heard it's a good one. As for the Mazuri, I am aware it has a high amount of protein but it's not actually harmful if you only give couple of pellets mixed with another mix, not as the main food.
You have mice too!??????😲😲 Awwhh I always wanted to have one but my family won't welcome them 😔 I have to be satisfied with my hamster Taco for now. Someday I will get them...!!!
Wild mice can carry diseases, and since it died suddenly, it may have had a disease or parasite. Keep an eye on your temperature and if you feel unwell, go to the doctor and tell the doctor you were in contact with a wild mouse. RIP Tommy, btw.
itss. daisy I prefer not to show it all the time and it's just less stressful on me having to worry about what I look like when I can just sit down and do this :)

just gonna point this out because I noticed it :0
Tropical carnival rat and mouse food has 10% fat, which is double the recommended amount- and more fat than what any of the kaytee rat and mouse food brands contain
Mazuri rat and mouse has 22% protein, which is a higher protein percentage than any other mouse food on the market that I know about, which can be very dangerous and lead o hot spots on mice
Yass! :D Awh that's a shame! Well hehe Taco is adorable!
My mouse is overweight
15% proteins
10% fibers
5% fats
And the rest is carbohydrates?
Ummm so I just found a mouse in my shoe and I dedided to keep it! But I have no idea how old it is
edit: it died...her name was tommy and i loved her
Wild mice can carry diseases, and since it died suddenly, it may have had a disease or parasite. Keep an eye on your temperature and if you feel unwell, go to the doctor and tell the doctor you were in contact with a wild mouse.
RIP Tommy, btw.
Where's your head ?
