If you had a way to swap out the rollers that could also be an edge roller (bead roller?). Just the powered ones but handheld. Don't forget to let us know when those get mass produced so the non-welders can have one too.
I know you wouldn't be able to control the pressure, but I wonder if you could get a similar result, with one of the "wheels" having neodymium magnets inside and no physical connection between the two? It would allow better access in some cases..
That smile on your face was worth a million when it worked Well done ,Clever man
Necessity is the mother of invention 😁👍😁
Very true 👍 👨🏭
No, that was Frank Zappa I think.
love it! saved me a ton from buying an actual English Wheel
Big companys will be watching and bring out there own design . Very good idea.

Cheers Sean . Yes it dose I completely agree 👍
Yessss sacrifice some roller blade or skateboard wheels. Now we're cooking.
Skateboard wheels, you can get lots of different densities of them, and they all mount the same way.
I use them on my bead roller.
Clever,, Patent that thing bud! You’ll see the big guys copy that now.
Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge!
No problem. Glad you liked it 👍
Brilliant 👍

Cool tool fella & a good idea 👍

Maui ask why you used a tig welder when a stick welder could of gotten a bigger it and been stronger? Still new to this why I’m asking.
But Tig is strong enough for this process,it’s quick, easy, strong and clean . I haven’t used stick in over 20 years
neat idea👌
Yep ill make one of those
If you had a way to swap out the rollers that could also be an edge roller (bead roller?). Just the powered ones but handheld.
Don't forget to let us know when those get mass produced so the non-welders can have one too.
Yeah good idea. Unfortunately I just don’t have the time to develop it at the moment
That's ingenious, could the handle go in a vice for small handheld panels maybe?
Brilliant, I’m gonna have to build one
Awesome. Good luck with it 👍
I will let you know how it comes out
I could use a mini version of this to restore the trim on my 57 Belair!!
Genius 👌
Thats neat .👍
Thanks very much 👍
awesome ty
Specs on the bearings and bar stock?
What ever you have laying and a bit of imagination. I’ll have a look at what I used tomorrow 👍
would really like to know if you could make a set of metal hub caps using the english wheel
I don’t see why you couldn’t. The tricky bit would be the return that would clip on to the wheel .
I know you wouldn't be able to control the pressure, but I wonder if you could get a similar result, with one of the "wheels" having neodymium magnets inside and no physical connection between the two? It would allow better access in some cases..
That’s a new one on me!
Great job. Just need to make a long reach one for roof repairs. Jo,s fab lab made one but I can’t find the link.
Thanks .I’m all ready working on the longer reach one 👍 I’ll look that channel up .
@@Metal_shaper_tom he does some mad things. Old and modern but done well. His early videos are the best.
Amazing!!! What size bearings?
Thanks unfortunately I don’t know off the top of my head . I’m sure you can make it with whatever you have laying around.
Before I as can you please say what size the bearing?
Sorry I can’t remember
what size of bearing do i need to make what you made
I’m not sure . You may have to give it a google and see what you can get
So how much for a new fender ?
😂
