Just built mine and had to use a Tailon sc50-100 cylinder as the one you used seems to no longer be available. Mine uses a 4 inch stroke, which seems.more than enough. Requires a cooresponding pivot that screws onto the base and the yoke is bigger than the one in the video.
Following your example I, too, bought the Tailon sc50-100 cylinder. Did you have to fabricate the pivot or can this piece be bought off the shelf? How did you deal with the larger yoke? I have all of the other Tailon pieces listed in the MK shopping list (foot pedal and pressure regulator) Mine will probably be a little different looking because I will attempt to use the Eastwood S/S stand that I already had, the one that mounts in a vice. Thank you, Jon! You are correct. The shaft takes up a lot of the volume making it a little less effective. So far I’ve been able to do anything I’ve needed to work under 80psi. I suppose you could build the whole thing upside-down to squeak a little extra power out of it! Good luck my friend!
just came across this channel and its rad. Love the work you do and how well you explain everything. keep killing it and looking forward to going through all the videos. 👍
Found your channel a couple of days ago. Got my sub. I’m going to have to build something similar. But I have a small English wheel, small pneumatic hammer, and some princess auto shrinker and stretcher that also need the cases made. I’m going to want them all on the same stand. Later want to build a bead roller for it. Use the pneumatic to spin the roller. Ive got big dreams. Lol
Came here for the perfect Miter Cuts video. Stayed and subscribed because of the other great content and the concept of this channel. Greetings from Holland!
That's a brilliant set up. I have to swap my units on the bench and every time tell myself I've gotta stop doing this!. This is definitely something that I could put together. How about a follow up for a deep throat (sounds ominous) unit?
Thank you, Chris! I’d love to have a deep throat stretcher though I honestly don’t know what I’d use it on. I just like to own cool tools! So it likely won’t be anytime soon, but I can definitely see a follow up coming in the future.
Don't have a shrinker stretcher but I did watch this all the way because I just like watching people build stuff. One question, couldn't you have made a small extension for the bottom to turn the cylinder 90 deg.? would have moved the pivot pin location down 1/2 to 3/4 inch.
So far so good my man! I couldn’t be happier. I’ve had a few folks say that you wouldn’t be able to ‘feel’ the workpiece and make fine adjustments on the fly. I don’t know what they’re feeling. Maybe I’m numb, but I can’t feel the metal moving with a manual shrinker/stretcher. The consistent pressure with every application of the pneumatic system has made it incredibly easy to make perfect uniform curves!
I would love to see the layout of your shop. I also build cars and motorcycles from my home. Shop space just cost to much right now. I'm always looking for new space saving ideas. BTW no idea why this is under my wife's name. Lol. Tim, Liquid Cycle Designs
I feel you! I’d love to expand as well. One day! I imagine we’re getting close to needing to do a shop tour. There’s some things I need to organize and I want to include that in a video, but I suppose I should include what it looks like this very moment since that’s what it has looked like since the beginning. Shrug. Maybe I’ll do a before and after video. 🤔 Maybe at 50k?
This is the first time i have seen this sight and you now have a new subscriber this is awesome i dont know how your interest in purchasing one of these went but i would buy if not im definitely going to build thanks a lot

I suppose you could build the whole thing upside-down to squeak a little extra power out of it! Good luck my friend!
Well, now I have to build this for my shrinker/stretcher set. Gee... thanks... :-)
Yes!! I’m honored to have contributed to your To Do list. I can’t wait to see it!
And also sorry. 😞
This is what I'm looming for!
Excellent! I hope it helps you as much as it’s helped me. 🙏
Awesome build. Works great .👍🏽🇺🇸👍🏽
Thank you, Fredie! 🍻
Awesome idea I'm going to build 1 for my shrinker stretcher keep up the good videos
Nice! I’d love to see it when you’re done. Good luck and thank you! 🍻
@@GarageFab will deff send over pictures thanks again dude 👍
just came across this channel and its rad. Love the work you do and how well you explain everything. keep killing it and looking forward to going through all the videos. 👍
Thank you, Brian! Glad you found me. Hope you enjoy the rest! See you in the next. 👊
Sweet! So much great jnfo and fab’n.
Happy to be of service John! Thank you 🙏
Found your channel a couple of days ago. Lol
That sounds amazing! I hope to see updates as this little fab island develops.
Happy to have you my man.
Great content as always. Thanks!
Thank you, my friend. 🙏
Your videos are so awesome it just makes me want to get off my butt and go out and do stuff
Yes! Do it! Stop watching dumb videos and go weld something!
Awesome links for all cool stuff you use
Appreciated! Hope they help.
Came here for the perfect Miter Cuts video. Stayed and subscribed because of the other great content and the concept of this channel. Greetings from Holland!
Hartelijk bedankt. Glad to have you. 🍻
Great idea thanks for sharing..
My pleasure, Danny. Thank you for watching!
Cool project.
Thank you Scott. You gonna make one?! 🙌
Another outstanding video Aaron!!!
Thanks man! I think I need to put out the worst video ever and see what you have to say about it. 😄
you can get spring extend or spring retract cylinders as well. the spring is internal. only need air to move it in one direction..... :)
Interesting. I’d like to see one of those. Do they work quickly?
I need to build this tool👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You do! Let me know how it goes. 👊
Excellent. Love yr channel. Just discovered it
Thank you! Glad you found us. Happy to have you!
Great video with really good info and production quality too 👍
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you, Tom!
Well done! Thanks for the tutorial.
My pleasure, John! Thank you! 🙏
great info, well presented. thank you
Thank you, Derek! You are appreciated.
Way too go. I love it. I have the same ones and wanted to build something just like yours. ThanKs
Yes! My pleasure and good luck!
Yeah, definitely would’ve been an option. That never crossed my mind, and it probably would’ve been a lot faster than cutting the arched hole! 🤷♂️
Pneumatic is PERFECT! The cylinder will "give" before gouging the work piece. Plus it's probably faster than hydraulic.
I would love to have one
Hopefully I can acquire a plasma table in the near future and I’ll start shipping them out. 👍
I ordered the parts from Amazon and it was only around $85
@user-gh7op3qf6u Nice! Lemme know how it goes!
Another cool build.
Mucho thank you!
Thanks for awesome router tip!
My pleasure! 🙌
You sir, have a new subscriber
Thank you, my friend! 🙏 Glad to have you. I’ll see you in the next one!
You got me Hook line and shrinker haha I ordered everything but they didn’t have the cylinder. Going to see if all hose to see if I can order it
I just noticed that myself! Please let me know if you find it. I’ve got another project that needs the same cylinder. 😩
Thar is totally awesome!!
Much thank you! You gonna build one?
Thank You!
Thank you for watching, my friend! 🍻
Top notch as always brother 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Thank you, Sir. 🙏
First video for me but I dig video and will be watching for upcoming videos good content

Thanks Chris! I’ve got few folks that would be interested but I haven’t had the opportunity to assemble an online store just yet. You might be on your own for the time being. 😔 Lemme know how it turns out if you decide to tackle it! 🍻
