This is an old link for when I was doing reactions with my brother, but yes there's a full reaction to the movie
Freddie knew Brian and Roger before joining the band. Roger and Freddie lived together and ran a Market Stall in Kensington, London. John Deacon joined around a year later. Freddie was not miserable or a diva like movie portrays. They certainly never split up before live Aid. They had only just finished the Game tour in May 85. Roger and Brian had already done albums before Freddie. Freddie did not leave Queen to do his album. They were all supportive of one another. Freddie also did not fire John Reid..their contract ran its course and they decided to part amicably. Prenter was a bad influence on Freddie and the band didn't like him. So Freddie took Prenter on his own payroll. Prenter did try to steer Freddie away from the band and Brian did say in an interview that Prenter was answering phone calls and telling people Freddie was too busy. Freddie knew around 86 he had AIDS. But never got tested until April 87..where he found out it was full blown. The band members found out around 88.... Freddie kept singing right up until May 1991 on their last ever song Mother Love. He died in November 91.
Thank you, well said. I found the movie very entertaining but so many incorrect parts as you've pointed out here. Also: it shows Queen on tour in the US in 1974 performing 'Fat Bottomed Girls' but that wasn't written until 1978. Queen already had many good strong songs by 1974 they could have used, so why they used a song out of sequence I don't know. Then, it shows the band working out 'We Will Rock You' when Freddie had his short hair and moustache. But he didn't have that look until 1980. The song was written in 1977. Another at the wrong time inaccuracy.
@@mikephillips8810 I meant to say, Freddie was Not miserable or a diva...I have corrected it. All anyone has to do is watch any documentary to see that was a lie. It infuriates me. I feel sorry they have made look that way. Such a shame. And yes, you pointed out about the songs, had you noticed they were Brian May's songs?? Like you said, there were great songs also written....also the movie had Freddie say to Brian, oh you must be the clever one!!!! Lol. Seems a lot about Brian's good stuff and no bad at all. He came off almost perfect!!! 😳
They all were amazing songwriters and each of them has written some of their hits:)
Rami Malek's vocals are in the film, but they're part of an assortment of different voices. The voice we hear as Freddie Mercury's in "Bohemian Rhapsody" is a mix of Malek and Mercury's vocals alongside those of Marc Martel, a singer famed for his impressive covers of Queen songs

Maliek own voice they couldn't of found a better actor praise God

15:00 they didnt have Rami Malik do the singing, they used a singer that sounds very similar to Freddie, Marc Martel who was the lead singer of the official Queen cover band

Before watching the movie I'll I knew was few songs that I liked that's all so no I didn't know anything about them
