They should have made a better walking out animation instead of a FCKING CGI WALKING ANIMATION.... They should have made an interesting camera movement, instead of a boring zoom out. They could have done the usual stadium speaker for the formation to hype up a little or do some cool stadium chants. As i said they could have done a thousand different things, but they instead did the bare minimum. The only thing i save from this episode is the pre game stuff. I genuinely think that the lack of any movement actually makes the game so much harder to follow than the manga, I don't know why but it's really hard to tell what is happening sometimes
Yeah. On the 2nd episode when Chigiri passed the ball to Otoya, for me it looked like Chigiri scored the goal himself, they didn't care to show Otoya touching the ball
its all sad about everything thats going on w the studio and animation but what can we do eitherway i still get super hyped for this and it aint to bad rn w the animation
@@notforyou2893and it was decent before too lol. I dont understand why yall are crying so much about the animations when, imho, theres no big difference from season 1. Both season had highs and lows, its just how it is.
Its a shame they had to use so much CGI for Bachira's dribbling, whereas in Season 1 it was hand drawn animation. Blue Lock isn't a Sci-fi anime, so there's no reason to have an excessive amount of CGI.
The music, the voice acting and the compositing/photography was ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR. The animation was still lackluster but is still the best looking episode of the season so far. It still really sucked cuz the potential this episode had animation wise. Could have easily made it the greatest animated sports arc if all time, especially knowing 8bit actually has good animators but time is a problem. The animation is a lil tad better but it's barely noticeable to someone who isn't an animator or Sakugatard, but it doesn't mean it's good.
To be honest, the major reason and fault in decreased animation in my opinion is in the direction of the second season. They have put more effort in increasing the details of the characters faces and hair than their movement. It's almost as if a marketing strategy for celebrities while in this case, it is the characters of blue lock. I am not just talking about the PNG images that we see, even for any 2-4 second movement that they have put for any character for eg Bachira here, they have put way too much effort in animating his face, which even if not there, would be sufficient and the time that might have been used in making that could have been put in their movements which was reduced due to extreme detailing imo. If we were to compare the facial features of the characters from S1 to S2, you can see the difference.
@ yeah i just realised that. but gj on digging my education just fyi english is not my first language (it's my third) and in my culture, colorists are mostly referred to prejudice against people of darker skin which is different from racism because it's aimed toward the same race (what you get from living in a country of predominantly one race) so i had that initial reaction. not that would you understand that.
@mkg-r fyi English isn't my first language either, it's also my third. I am not a white person and have experienced said prejudice as I don't live in my family's country. They could have done the usual stadium speaker for the formation to hype up a little or do some cool stadium chants.
As i said they could have done a thousand different things, but they instead did the bare minimum. The only thing i save from this episode is the pre game stuff. The sped up people, the classic shops outside of the stadium, the peoples reactions felt super realistic and it was cool af in my opinion, but still i want to see the show from the perspective of the protagonist, not from the perspective of the randoms. I don't know if i managed to deliver the message, i'm just a BIT disappointed in this project (that i waited for 4 years)
nah its actually sad expectation are so low that a bit improvement in the animation and ost are making people happy
It was decent ngl
Finally someone saying the truth
Snake could have been green tho😅
Decent ? It's the same level of animation than before
@@notforyou2893and it was decent before too lol. I dont understand why yall are crying so much about the animations when, imho, theres no big difference from season 1. Both season had highs and lows, its just how it is.
@@somerandomchad469 crying?. We just want a better adaptation.
decent isnt gonna cut it.
I shed an actual tear at the stadium build up scene
Les gooooo I’m hyped
This is more of visual novel than an anime, but visual novels can be good. Well, it seems people are still able to enjoy it
Its a shame they had to use so much CGI for Bachira's dribbling, whereas in Season 1 it was hand drawn animation. Blue Lock isn't a Sci-fi anime, so there's no reason to have an excessive amount of CGI.
nah bruh I was actually smiling and getting hyped the whole episode lowkey
i always say: manga is more smooth than anime
8:25 appreciate these frames, this might be the best animation we get this season 😭
1:50 calling people who color manga panels "colorists" is insane 😭
??
That is infact what they're called. Words can have many meanings, stay in school.
Fyi prejudice isn't just from people with the same skin colour. Google is free :)
This is the internet, you're not the only person who experienced racism or colorism so stop with that "you wouldn't understand" bs 💀
@ sure, but dont go judging around people’s education next time either. since you would understand how annoying it is when strangers make assumptions about you. dick.
I loved the episode, this was great. I mean animation was a bit mehhh but the hype they created was soooo good. They delivered ❤❤
shit like this makes me appreciate one piece's "over animation" so much
The music leading up to kickoff was great!!
can u guys just appreciate what we have instead of rambling on
As long as it doesn't gets any worse, I might live.
On the preperations, the people carrying the boxes had more animation than the whole u-20 players are going to have in all episodes combined
Guys guys chill they are saving the budget for next season :D
the build up was so damn hype tho, can’t deny it
Nice thumbnail text change xd
This season might as well be Fooseball. The ball moves around as the players slide from side to side.
I hope they don't do this to the World cup arc/Season 3. I was really excited to see kaiser but i don't really think i will be anymore.
